Sub-par service for a sub-par experience. It's nice inside, but it attracts an annoying crowd, and the drinks are just standard for a bar. Come for the ambience, I guess, but check out other places in LES.

It was a terrible experience and probably my worst dining experience in 10 years in NYC. The restaurant did not honor my reservation despite calling and confirming, so after nearly an hour we left without being seated or offered any real resolution, we left. I've gone to this restaurant numerous times over the past 7 years and usually had good experiences, but the treatment that we received last night was so below par that I'll never go back. The hostess was very nice and apologetic, but had no authority. And the manager couldn't be bothered. After calling and confirming the reservation by phone and online, then arriving with my entire party before our time, they never sat us at our table and tried to convince us to spend an hour in their cramped bar to text us when a table was ready. After we paid for 2 sugary drinks and checking in with the hostess for the third time, we gave up.

Bottomline: As I had heard from other people recently, this restaurant is no longer in the class of restaurants to visit. Go elsewhere.

I was here for a birthday dinner with 7 other individuals. Unfortunately, half our party arrive about 20 minutes late, which meant we lost our table. It took an hour and 45 minutes to be sat, which we were disappointed by. However, the hostess and the manager seemed genuinely sorry, which was appreciated. I would give the ambiance a 4 of 5 stars and the food a 3 of 5 stars. For the price, I was hoping to be wow'ed by the food but I was slightly disappointed. Overall, I would likely go back but probably on a weekday rather than a weekend night.

Stanton Social is great for large groups. I went with 3 friends and we had an amazing time. The food was amazing, most notably the French Onion Soup Dumplings and Hand Pulled Chicken Arepas. Service was pretty good, but it can get incredibly crowded and slightly noisy. Would definitely go back.

This tapas style restaurant in the LES is a bit on the pricey end, and has a reputation, so I expected to be impressed. Unfortunately, the plates were way too small for the prices, and very hard to divvy up among friends. Our sea bass was overcooked, but we really liked the quesodilla, perogies, and corn dogs. Overall you would come here for the LES atmosphere, but maybe not the food.

Wonderful brunch on a beautiful Saturday morning. Had the French onion soup dumplings which were rich and flavorful, the oreo pancakes , which were delightful, and the egg bruschetta, which were very flavorful. The ambiance is kind of dark and night club like, but the food was delicious. We were there around noon, and there was only one other group seated. No wait, and terrific brunch!

This review is for brunch only. I used to come here when I lived in NYC 8 years ago, but... I just don't find it that great any more. Nothing blew me away. Some things were good. Most were fine. Tapas for brunch kind of sucks. The fish tacos were fishy. The perogies were good. The donuts were good. But nothing really blew me away. The rosemary bloody mary didn't taste like rosemary and smallish. The tables were cramped. The staff was nice and helpful. I just wouldn't go back in a city with so many great brunch options.

Food is tasty, but expect to wait between 30 and 60 minutes after your scheduled reservation time. And dont expect an apology for waiting. And once you get to your table, 45 minutes after scheduled arrival time, expect the service to suck. But thats not what they are selling here at Stanton Social. They are selling the scene. So if the scene is what you are looking for and you are prepared to wait and wait, hit this place up.

I was excited to go to another Chris Santos restaurant but again I was not impressed. I tried brunch this time and shared some interesting plates with a friend. We started with some good drinks. I choose the Stanton Sunrise and my friend had a basic mimosa. Both were enjoyed and we opted for the unlimited $25 deal, which was worth it. I was excited to taste the lobster roll, curious about the chicken and waffles and my friend wanted potato latkes, bacon and croque monsieur satays. Food was good but not wowing as anticipated. The noise level was horribly LOUD! I enjoyed friendly suggestions from our neighboring tables because the tables were uncomfortably close! If you are claustrophobic don't consider dining here. I won't return.

We wanted a good night out to celebrate my wife's birthday. I booked a table weeks in advance and made note that we were coming into NYC for the first time and this was a birthday dinner. Once we ordered our food, we realized the portions were TINY and yet full priced. The website describes them as "shareable" but makes no mention of the size. They had some good deals at the bar and lounge, but unfortunately we weren't aware of this until after we were already seated. To top it off, the waitress was rude to my wife throughout the evening. We were in New York for eight days and this was by far our worst dining experience.

The food here is delicious. I tried the Stanton Social during a large group gathering, and as a large group we probably ordered way too many shared plates, but in regards to the food quality there were absolutely no complaints. The staff was accomodating in that they increased the size of each plate based on our group size (for a cost of course). The negatives: the atmosphere seemed a bit pretentious, and the room quickly got crowded. The food here was also highly priced. Overall though, the experience was nice and food was good.

While Stanton Social remains a place to see and be seen in, I would heavily advocate guests visit during brunch hours instead of dinner. At night, the space is far too dimmed and with nearly deafening music; going during the earlier hours of the day allows for a brighter and more laid-back environment. Waits are inevitable during any meal, but getting a chance to try the succulent Kobe Beef Sliders, the creative Oreo Pancakes, and the Pastrami Quesadilla is worth it. Stanton Social offers a variety of cocktails and beverages as well, which they'll certainly push on you during your meal. Regardless, you could do much worse when in the LES.

Went once for dinner when in town, and once for brunch when in town. Good cocktails, good food, evening atmosphere gets dark and loud, and brunch atmosphere is the same (but less dark). Read: It's pretty sceney, but a nice place. The French onion soup dumplings are amazing.

Excellent food, excellent location and excellent service.
Visited Stanton twice in a month before writing this review and im glad i waited since the first time was for a industry event and you know how that goes, cant write a review for free food.
Arrived at 12:30 with no reservation and were promptly seated. The waiter came by and explained how the menu works for brunch and suggested 4-6 plates to get the full experience. We decided on 4 since prices seem decent but they dont fill you up.

Ordered the oreo cookie pancakes and as a good waiter, asked us if we wanted that at first or at the end of our meal. we said at the end since you want to keep the sweets at the end so they don't cloud the palate for the rest of the food.
Also ordered the eggs benedict and the egg tacos. The benedict was great, it came with a salda in between the eggs and it contrasted well with the bechamel sauce that came with the eggs. The tacos, were a bit small and just plain.
Drinks here tend to be fancy and for around $13 each you must at least get one.

The decoration is trendy, flashy and so nice for a nice date or two.

Went for happy hour and the bar tender and bar setting was great. The wine special wasn't too bad, just be warned that the happy hour food options are for a single piece. The $5 slider is a single slider, $4 for a single very small taco, etc. The food was excellent though!

5 stars for the milkshake shot, which is only $3 at the upstairs bar. Best dessert ever and a good way to start the night

The goat cheese and potato periogies are to die for. And of course those French onion soup dumplings. I would also go for the mac and cheese, and the chicken arepas. I don't think the Korean BBQ was very good and I'd stay away from the like. The cobb salad bites were great too, along with the miso mushrooms.

A popular high energy, upscale dining spot with great cocktails and a variety of decent small plates provides a worthwhile experience. There are multiple dining areas and a lounge upstairs frequently used while waiting for seating.

The food is alright, the drinks are not so great. The waitress was notvery interested in servibg us...the food was not that expensive per plate but they have this shared meal thing...where everyone at the table orders a meal n they bring out rounds of food. So a meal that could have cost my date n i $75 ended up costing $150

DON'T VISIT THIS PLACE!!!

DON'T VISIT THIS PLACE!!!
WORSE SERVICE IN MY LIFE! I HAVE NEVER BEEN TREATED LIKE THIS IN MY LIFE. At the end of a nice night @StantonSocial, instead of being asked to pay and finish my drink, the bathroom security person along the doorman just pushed me and said, please leave. I said, what is this about? why are you pushing me? The bathroom security guy said no, please leave. Then, the doorman came to help him. They came out of no where, I was talking to my friend who is getting married and we were talking about places to have the wedding. This happened at closing a couple of hours ago, Saturday, October 22nd. I took a video that i will be more than happy to share with management.

We were delayed by an hour sitting down, so we went upstairs to have a drink. Fantastic, excellently made cocktails, and when we were seated, we were given a free round of drinks and pierogi to make up for the wait. The wait staff was attentive, and the food was fantastic. Highlights were the pierogi and the korean tacos. Will definitely be back!

It's fine if you want to fall asleep. Decent food, tired crowd. I'm over this. I need to go to more grown up restaurants. I think at 36 you kind of get over herded around like this for the prices they charge.

Had a wonderful dining experience at this little spot. Drinks were thumbs up. Chicken taquitos, ceviche, philly steak, sliders all delicious. Orange creamsicle shots, Mascarpone cheesecake Mousse were yummy desserts.

What's not to love about a hot spot? The reservation process. But aside from the difficulty of getting a table for two last minute, I love love love Stanton Social. Not the biggest fan of their famous french onion soup dumplings, but this girl could devour all the goat cheese pierogies Stanton Social has to offer.
