It was spectacular. The interior design kept me gripped itself, let alone the view. So grateful to have been able to go (but it was open bar when I went, I wouldn't have loved it as much if I had to pay 20$ a drink)
Crowded loudy weekend nights. Service a bit slow due to overwhelming consumers. A bigger staff would be pleasant. Otherwise great decor, drinks, and style.
The staff at meat packing ny location is friendly & rooms are nice as expected.

Drinks at Le Bain at the Standard rooftop are always awesome. It's a fun and lively crowd but rarely too crowded. Drinks are reasonably priced and they even make crepes out on the rooftop. Gorgeous views of the Hudson. This bar is one of my favorites
Lovely views light room. Compact room great no space wasted. Clean nice staff. Great foods and cocktails bar if you don t wish to go out. Nearby places of interest and restaurants bar. Great place.

I was realized noise from corridor & other rooms. I think the door & wall are thin, when people talking and walk in front of my room, I could listen their conversation very clear.
As other people mentioned, there is a night club top of the floor. I worried about sound from them before I stayed. The night club there is on 17th floor and I stayed at 15th floor. It had a distance so there was no problem but I heard music a little in the room.
Ate lunch at the Standard Bar after walking the High Line. The waiter was amazingly attentive, asked right away about any allergies or restrictions, and was helpful in finding out the ingredients in a dressing for me. The ceviche was, to our surprise, full of lobster, octopus, and some fish (rather than all fish), and though I got the Cobb salad because I was aiming for a light lunch, I was very full after! A nice place to sit for the afternoon.
It was just as any normal four-star hotel. Nothing too fancy or too high standard. To be able to walk the high line when ever I wanted was increadibly exciting, because the high line is a amazing park.
Nice room. Very friendly staff. My only complaint is that the shower in my room doesn't have a door so water leaks everywhere.

Too trendy, elevators are so dark that you can't see the buttons. Same goes for the bathroom light, painted black to match the paint. Rooftop view is fantastic though.

The food and service was good, nobody knew how to get to the bar on the 18th floor. Everyone told us different entrances and diffierent hours of operation
The high line is 3 things. A modern city miracle,a triumph of imagination and a damn fine walk. The standard highline hotel is a modern city hotel, a triumph of a rather gifted, if a little dark and mildly distrubed interiors genius, with damn fine beds. You will be stimulated and then sleep soundly.

I walked on the high line with my family and it was a great experience, we walked the entire high line and took many pictures. Everyone was friendly all along the trip!

A scandal !!!! ZERO costumer service
Somebody stole my bag between the reception and the elevator after I have done the check-in. There were many people at the ground floor as usual during the evening.
The staff of the hotel seems not concerned at all, no help to call the police, no help after. I had to demand the video camera investigation and we well see someone handing my bag.
The hotel has done nothing, no words, no gesture. I am super disappointed and I will never come back. It's a shame. We also stole objects from friends in the room of the hotel some weeks again.
The hotel is not safe and it's a shame that the hotel did not do anything and does not support the client. Especially when you come for a week every year. it's scandalous.

I got a room that's near the elevator/air vent. The noise from the air vent is horrible. It's impossible to sleep in the room. How dare the hotel let the customer stay in a such inhabitable room? Also the AC does cannot heat the room. Even you turn up the thermostat, it only blows cold air.

How do you rate a place that has been sold to me as the best rooftop club in the world... with this in mind you will be disappointed, like me. This is not really fair to them as they are not selling it like this themselves, and the rooftop bar has a more then nice view over the city... good cocktails and nice pancakes on the roof... the hottub in the club is a bit overdone but nice touch. What they can do better is service at the bar: staff is friendly but with to less people. Almost everyone is zipping cocktails which takes a while to prepare, this causes long waiting at the bar...
I had a great experience! The food was very good, friendly staff and nice rooms. Had especially good time with friends in the beer garden playing ping pong with friends. Late night we went up to club Lebain and had cocktails and I was mesmerized by the breathaking view of the manhattan skyline. I will definitely be back again.

One of the most charming hotels in New York. Incredible views, beautiful interiors and crazy rooftop. Location is prime, sitting just above the High Line oasis.
Refused service to a naval officer on grounds of her uniform not matching dress code. Will never ever go here. Expensive anyway. Advise anyone who respects our men and women in uniform do the same.
I ve never stayed at the hotel, but I love the Biergarten. Here s the problem: their hours are awful. It s a sunny, 74 degree June day and they don t open the Biergarten until 4pm! What gives? Would be 4 or 5 stars for the Biergarten if they were open for lunch 7 days. Missed opportunity.
The hotel is ok but a few things bothered me a LOT:
1. No tea/coffee in the rooms. This is a big annoyance, especially when suffering from jet lag and wake up in very early hours
2. Video art in elevator: I don't mind the abundance of naked women. I do mind there was not even one naked man exposed the same way
3. Water pressure in the shower was not impressive
However, beds are quite comfortable, towels are big and comforting, room is reasonably szed with a desk and chairs

Nice location in New York with loads of bars and clubs the Hotel however seems to be having a mold problem. In our first room there was mold all over the aircon output. We did get a different room and an upgrade however the second room also had the same mold problem. Worse than that however was the attempt to hide the mold. While our second room was prepared housekeeping must have taken a chlorine cleanser to wipe the mold of the aircon output but did a bad job. So we had chlorine smell plus mold in our "upgraded" room. Check the pictures I've taken. (Somehow the mold picture doesn't upload...)
Again next to the mold problem this seems to be a good Hotel with restaurants on site, a pretty cool rooftop bar with beautiful views which is accessible unless they are hosting events for invited guests only. In that case you can't access the rooftop. The elevator won't take you to the 18th floor and on the 17th a bouncer will make sure no one gets in through the staircase either. Makes sense unless your a hotel guest. Somehow you feel you should be able to get access...
So again next to the mold and the attempt to hide the mold problem and the rooftop situation this is a cool kinda hotel. The nightly price of 400 bucks seems justified.
The bathroom: It's small with a toilet in the "closet". It really has a closet feel to it because you open a closet door and then have a tiny space to do your business.
So there are other small things here and there to point out but I won't spoil it all. Find out for your self if you dare.
Weird, wonderful, far too cool for school. In an amazing location and the beer garden is great fun.
Pricey but good. Good food, rooms not huge but good size for NY. Loved free laundry service if you use the gym for your kit.

This is one of the most unique hotels I ever saw in my life. I think the standard Highline is the standard for modern hotels.
On a weekend you're lucky if you can find 2 sq ft to stand in. But the bartenders, ticket sellers, bouncers and staff all know and compensate by being charming and kind. It's worth it.
They have a nice front patio area and a good lobby area. There's a rooftop bar which doesn't open until 4pm and requires moderately nice clothes to get into (no shorts or sandals). It's a bit pricey and the view isn't incredible but it's nice enough.
The hotel is better-located impossible. The roof bar is a great place to have a drink with amazing views (if they let you in), they also have a cool beer garden.
The deco of the hotel is very modern and the shower is an amazing experience. I really had a great time here and felt very well treated.
There are long lines and long wait times to go to the rooftop bar or the restaurant on the ground floor especially on a friday night. The decor is very nice and modern.
Best dining in Soho. Love the outside seating. Service and atmosphere are awesome. After you dine, take a walk on the high line.

Nice quirky hotel with beautiful rooftop bar. Rooms are small but modern. Location is great , very central to meatpacking and Chelsea.
I love walking through these peculiar gardens, the fact that they are restored pathways makes it even more special. Each corner has its charm and the view is also very pleasant.
Very cool Garden on high Terrace so beware of nude sunbathing
