I personally liked the ambience. Their service was quite prompt. The food tasted good.
But as a visitor, I have two opportunities for improvement, that are -
1) The main entrance needs improvement for the visibility of the hotel name from a distance.
2) Vehicle drop off service by valley needs to be faster

It was a bad experience wen I came to st regis with my friends and I was being told it was closed by the security which was very embarrassing in front of my friends I hope it would be a better experience wen I come next time. I had to call 4 times to enter in your hotel then I get attitude from your security wen I come to your hotel. I spoke to your duty manager once but he just cut the line wen we called back we were been told that the duty manager is busy and it was told that the restaurant tables are fully occupied but wen we entered there was only 3 tables occupied......Thank you for your hospitality

Good food and good ambiance but not a lot of options for vegetarians also food is more geared towards forigeners and does not do full justice to Indian pallet still in veg food alubhukara kofta and saag is to die for. This review is for sahib restaurant.

We decided to to for the buffet here - although the spread is lavish in terms of the variety available, there wasn't a single dish that actually a good out; including the dessert options. At INR 2,500 per person it's quite a waste of your money.

It's very contemporary and elegant hotel...no wonder , it's one of the premium hotels of Mumbai. .
Staff is very well behaved , courteous , well mannered , always smiling and ready to serve your every requirements...
"Drawing Room" on ninth floor even offers Tea - Coffee at informal seating outside bar which offers nice view of curved star case leading to "Sahib Room", an Indian restaurant, one of the finest in Mumbai.
Staff is extremely polite and helpful.... Particularly young and dynamic Anu Verma is extremely talented and knows the essence of hospitality industry... Best wishes for great career in this industry...

All restaurants are wonderful
...will write review of each restaurant in due course of time..

Nice hotel, very pretty and helpful staff. Close to the mall with a side entrance. Minor downside and this is meant to be the differentiator for St Regis is their famous bulter service. As my hotel room had a showerhead was faulty. I mentioned to the Bulter service about it but it was never fixed... Uber and Olacab drivers seem to find it hard the St Regis hotel as the entrance is well hidden and very close to the mall entrance and parking...

The ambience is simply incomparable with other laces. The roof top view is perfect for an evening. I would mention, the menu is plenty for non veg while veg is often restricted to regular menus. Dessert is somewhat super awesome.

There are certain things that frustrate me about this hotel as a business traveller.
1. Open Kitchens at Seven Kitchens - Why???? Seven Kitchens where the breakfast is served has open kitchens all around. By the time you are done with your breakfast, your business suit is smelling of Indian food.
2. Food - I have stopped ordering omelets because they just don't taste good. Also, tried dal tadka, hard to go wrong with that, well they did. It didn't taste remotely as good as ITCs and Marriotts all over India.
3. Elevators - This is the second time I am staying here in 3 months. First time around i was here for 3 nights and this time for 5 nights. The wait time to get to your floor is ridiculous. A popular topic of discussion among most hotel guests.
4. Noisy - There are no quiet places around the hotel, the noise levels at the coffee shop at the lobby and seven kitchens makes it impossible to have a meeting.
5. Lack of meeting rooms - The library has only two meeting rooms, out of which one does not get any natural light. Often unavailable if they have conferences.

This inefficiencies make mornings very stressful on a business trip. I stay here because its an SPG hotel and the staff is good. Hopefully they can figure out the rest.
