The administrators here need to come out publicly and on the record regarding allegations of rape and assault happening on campus. As it stands, the school seems inclined to sweep this under the rug and not pursue any kind of legal actions against students who commit violent crimes on campus. Clearly this is not a safe place for any student.
I highly recommend Brentwood Academy! Faculty members go to GREAT lengths to assist students in learning the college preparatory curriculum while instilling Godly principles. BA's College Counseling Office is top notch.

This school is obsessed with sports and religion. My friends in the late 80s and early 90s used to talk about the mistreatment of certain students there. Now I definitely believe it.

The mother of the boy, who attends Brentwood Academy, a prestigious private school in Williamson County in Tennessee, filed the lawsuit in which she also accuses four eight-grade students, then 14 and 15-years-old, of having repeatedly sexually abused her son when he was in the sixth grade in 2014/15.

Now we all know the Media in this country is pretty unreliable and at times extremely slanted, but when I read stuff like this I can't help but get worked up. My first red flag is the Word "Prestigious Christian School", Is not this a true Oxymoron? when I think of the true teachings of Jesus Christ, the first thing that comes to my mind is the Rich man who turned away from the Lord because he couldn't give up his riches and follow Jesus, this also brings into my mind these Preachers with Million Dollar Bank Accounts, private fleets of Jets, and taking 4 to 5 collections from their parishioners during their services. If this truly happened Not only should that staff be fired, but those Punks should get to experience a Little prison time....Maybe they can get a little dose of what they were dishing out. I can't help but think, what are they actually teaching these kids, that they would partake in such awful deeds against someone who should be taught is their Brother and that they are to value others above themselves. Saddly enough this is just another example of how far we all are from God, and how much we need to seek His face and not the face of Man. If the Lord was in these peoples hearts as they claim He is, I just can't see this type of Evil taking place....I attribute this entire action to Watered Down Preaching and Zero Annointing. The other sad thing is this kind of junk has been done by those in athoritive positions for many many years, while others look away, trust me God is not looking away, and Judgment will start in the House of the Lord, and anyone who does this to God's little ones it will be as a Millstone around their neck. I would hope that those who read this will take some time out of their busy day and just say a Prayer for this young man, that his faith in God and Justice will prevail, and Pray for true Revival to begin in Men's hearts and minds.
Brentwood Academy has made a monumental change in our son! BA truly lives up to the mission of "nurturing and challenging each whole person body, mind, and spirit to the glory of God."
Our son had an "ok" elementary school experience. He was "fine" but often was passed up because he was easy-going and didn't cause trouble. Since coming to BA in 6th grade, he has developed socially and academically, all in the context of a Christian setting. We are grateful to BA and all of the staff and families for this enriching and inclusive environment!
Currently being sued for over 30 million by a 14 year old student who was raped repeatedly by upperclassmen, than told to "get over it" because it was "boys being boys". The evidence points to the plaintiff and I place good odds on them winning the 30 million. Don't go to this school.
First off it amazes me that so many of you read an "alleged accusation" and have read these allegations as the true account of what happened here at Brenwood Academy and further you cast your own judgement On the circumstances as fact that you do not know. The fact that BA stands for Christian character and dedicates its entire mission to this purpose does not erradicate its students from the sin present of this world.
I further assure you BA in no way would expect any child to suffer personal infractions of any nature knowingly. Additionally they are fully educated on the laws of reporting such behavior upon discovery.
Let me assure you no one at this school in the faculty or administration would ever KNOWINGLY allow, cover up, or not act with haste and counsel to authorities immediately upon the knowledge of any such personal, dangerous, or violations of sexual misconduct, if they are or were known or reported or discovered or should have been discovered in any manner. If you even doubt this statement you are 100 % WRONG.
Let me additionally assure you the staff that work to teach the children attending BA make significant personal sacrifice to educate children equipping them for their better future in this world and yes this does not I repeat elevate the existence of sin in human nature. Sin exists in every aspect of this world.
To the woman parent slamming BA and those that show distaste for your incredulous wrongful glorified attack to BA on Facebook and other media, If you as you report knew all the negative data going on as you represent, why would you ever allow your son to graduate from such a school and remain in such a vile place as you report for many years later and even graduate. Makes no sense unless you support putting your son in harms atmosphere.
I personally believe a suit of slander and liable could develop for the unfounded press against BA wrongly and if I were your son I would really question why you left me there in such a place.

The truth will prevail. The facts will be discovered. What most likely will develop is that if this situation occurred as reported, the fact that these boys wrongly sexually bullied a student were not reported, known or discovered until much later when the offended child later disclosed such violation to a parent or other counsel with the new disclosure of sexual violation. If it is true these boys violated a very serious personal boundary and consequences will occur. We need all pray for all involved but quit casting stones at the mission of a school or faculty. The fact that a boy has been violated possibly occurred here possibly is the fact that sin lives everywhere. No school, church, or establishment is free of the sin present in this world.
How is BA or its faculty to have blame cast of something not known or reported as sexual violation vs. locker room bullying or horseplay.......not uncommon in an abuse situation due to fear, reputation, embarrassment, etc that the infracted individual is slow to come forth with full disclosure of such violations or true uncensored revaluation of such a violation as this is pain.
Brentwood Academy will be proven to be as it stands for.......not perfect but always striving to create better character in all.
For the young boy who has been bullied and violated, pray healing and justice.
For those who violated, pray the same and revelation of a Christian character.
For the school and faculty, pray the same and continued faith and pursuit of Christian character.
For the media report fairly and with integrity

I started at Brentwood Academy as a sixth grade student. All of the way until high school, were great. However, little did I know that i had stepped into a school with bullies, rapists, teachers who merely teach using online notes, tests, and quizzes. this school is greatly focused on Athletics. As a students who prioritizes on Academics and my Christian faith, I found this school as a hindrance to my full potential. Possible Brentwood Academy parents, I am speaking with many years of experience at this horrific school. Athletes were given special privileges over the rest of the student body. For example, a student who i will keep nameless was the quarterback for the football team and star basketball player. However, when he was caught cheating along with students who were not superior athletes, his actions were basically pardoned to ensure greatness for the school's athletics. However, for the other students, many of them were expelled. This school prides itself on its "Christian" influences. However, the school had minuscule christian effects on there students with the exception of a 10 minute shallow chapel once a week. As a parent, would you like to send your children to a school that has been found to have rapists, bullies, pardoned drug addicts, and neglectful teachers? As a parent I would not ever send my children to this school. In addition to all of these things, with the current lawsuit, tuition cost will continue to dramatically sky rocket each year. I am currently attending a private school with much lower tuition and some of the most welcoming, friendly people that I have ever met. Of course they expel two students who are now in the public school system. The admin and coaches of this school NEED TO BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE.
Also to Randall and Fox Whisper(or whatever) - the allegations ARE FACT. I am friends of friends of the family. I know about this DISGUSTING ABUSE and the administrations' lack of addressing the abuse and ignoring the child. This school should be closed permanently. Unfortunately, money talks and abusers walk.
For everyone who pretends that they know anything about this school please quiet yourselves. There have been a huge amount of people who first went to this school but now are teachers here because they remembered how great a school like this is. So everyone here giving this school a 1 star rating and using God's name to justify yourself it shows you don't know that much about the bible or BA. Also how much of you people have even been to BA and talked to any teacher??? Its easy to write all of these hateful things that you feel like you know so much about sitting behind your computers holding a newspaper in your hand. However the people who have been around long enough know nothing like this would slide under the radar. So if something did happen I highly doubt it was to such an extent of rape.
