Great, great casino, the way they all should be. Very reasonable food and drink prices,free easy parking, and a great gambling atmosphere. The strip casinos are way way over priced. Great place for the bowling national tournament, and rodeos, ect.
I'm new to Nevada and have never been here before. I have to say I was inpressed. The staff was efficient and professional. The casino was clean and had a pleasant atmosphere. I will definitely be going back!
Love this place. The food outlets are great and the casino is less smokey than the ones on the strip.
Clean, lots of new slots, valet was quick, drink service slow but cocktail server was nice.
The South Point Casino is a very nice place to visit. My friend took me there for a buffet dinner, as this place was giving FREE buffets to all military service families and/or friends. They were alllowed to bring a guest with them. NO other casino property does this for any military or veterans, only the South Point . Thank you for the great food.

Had a great new years eve here. From finding a fave new/old slot machine to the western elegance and size ! Watched Vegas and Henderson and Summerlin fireworks from roof of parking garage with a cheerful nice crowd of people. Then still had time to go catch last songs of the band "Spazmatics" . Great night. Can't wait to go back.
Dated. The fact that the equestrian arena was just off of the cafe was a turn off.My friend was sneezing from the hay,etc.
Awesome casino lots of game and table and one of the best restaurants I've ever been to.
Its called steak and shake you need to try the bacon cheese fries and any of the awesome milkshakes and burgers

Quiet hotel on the south strip. Price per night is a bit much for a very basic 2 bed room, but I appreciated the easy parking and smaller feel of the hotel. Steak and shake is a must while there!

I liked that when we wanted the peace and quiet it was available. I loved being off strip yet with easy access to it when we wanted! Restaurants, gaming, comedy and music shows. Best dessert counter!
Went and saw a movie. Everything went smoothly. Movie was a little louder than I like, particularly for a kids movie. Snacks were okay, not great. Freestyle Coke machines are nice, but they need to be better about keeping syrups filled.
Excellent, done right, good food, staff is great, Courtney is slot host that is incredible. Good slot club, rooms are very good, best hotel for money and more importantly, chance to win is higher than strip.
Beautiful hotel nice rooms great options at the food court. Poker room was pretty nice dealers know what they're doing and we're very friendly. Place is really clean inside and out, along with all the area. Quick access on and off the freeway to the Las Vegas Strip
I went to the movies and gambled for the afternoon. The parking was easy. The theater was clean and comfortable, and the casino was fun and clean.

Always enjoyed spending time at South Point. It's a quiet casino but has a movie theater, bowling alley, a great gift shop, arena, restaurants, ice cream area n hot dog stand. It's a vacation spot all by itself. Love the place.
Nice and super clean...cleaning crew everywhere. Machines pay nicely. Polite staff and great restaurants. Bathrooms clean! Will be back soon
It's called a casino but it's much, much, much more. This is hands down one of the greatest places to stay in vegas!
Nice casino floor. Graveyard specials are a good value. Bowling was nice. Poker room is solid and their sushi restaurant is good. Only problem i have is the horse smell during equestrian finals and the rooms which were slightly below average
Oyster Bay and Cafe were excellent restaurants. Service was really good and the food was tasty.
Great assortment of activities, gambling, and food. Lots of activities available from the movie theater, to the arcade, to the bowling alley. Rooms are also comfortable.
Nice casino off the strip. Dinner restaurants are good, but note they open at 5pm and some closed Mondays and Tuesdays.
I go for the casino, so most of the time I'm dealing with awesome staff. Such as floor managers and dealers, over all I think that it is a great stay, and not to far away from the strip.
Loved this casino. There is a whole rodeo ring for real competitions in the bottom floor, a 16 screen movie theater upstairs, a competition size bowling alley, and shows. Great resturants and bars. And oh yes you can gamble if you want.
This is definitely not a place for the upper class. This place really caters to the everyday person. Really disappointed in Don Miguel's Mexican Restaurant. Prices took a big jump, and selection went down. Service also declined. I was treated in a manner of if I didn't like something that I could always leave. Won't go back to the restaurant.

Great rare prime rib at the buffet. Crab legs were good too. Huge selection of no sugar added desserts. Other menu items also good.
Price is good. Room is fine. Bed is comfy. Food ok. Was under renovation at time of stay.

Nice place to stay if you want to be close to the strip but don't want to be in the craziness of the strip. Rooms are good size,clean and quiet at night. I have stayed here many times and never had any issues.
This casino was cool. It seemed like the locals casino. The place I d want to hit up if I lived in Vegas. It had great deals and all types of things to do. The buffet was cheap but good. I saw a sign for really low movie ticket prices.

Beds were okay, shower was great. Non-smoking room truly was non-smoking, just wish the rest of the casino would follow suit... But I'd have that complaint at any casino.
We are here 3 times a year for horse shows and it is always the same. Great rooms, food and the horse accomodations are first class!!
Stopped for breakfast on the way home from Vegas. Ate at the Coronado cafe. Great food, great service and great price. Got lucky in the casino. We normally stop on the way home.

I've never stayed in this hotel but I have been her in and off throughout the years for meals and theaters. everything's great but not perfect. even the location is great: just a short 10 minute drive away; but not perfect (5 minutes or less). I love the steak shack here. the buffet is alright. and the cafe with the super cheap food at midnight was my go-to during my college years.
Very cool local casino. Regularly hold events (MMA, RBR, bowling championships, etc). Rooms are spacious and clean with good beds. Lots of food/restaurant options.
A large contemporary casino outside of the main strip but easy access to the highway. Some of the most live dealer table games around at a time I notices most casinos cutting back as machines are becoming more popular. If you're going for the pretiest cocktail waitress, well this is on place you wont be disappointed. Unfortunately, I personally don't do well, i never have in 5 years. For me it it must be for the ambiance, and restaurants because it sure isnt for these very tight machines.

Our first time staying here during the Vegas Archery Shoot. Must say, we were very pleasantly surprised with everything will definitely stay here again...rooms big and spacious, 11 restaurants we tried 5 of them and they were all awesome...love the Coronado it's open 24hrs!! Their staff are very friendly. They have bowling and theatres! Plus I believe their location is perfect...not too far from the Strip and Outlet shopping nearby.

Had planned a relaxing family vacation and management made us feel as though children are zero priority and $$ is the key. Once my money was taken the nice demeanor stopped.
We stayed here in south point when we bought our RV in Las Vegas Camping World. I like their buffet because of different fresh variations of the food. It s a very clean hotel and my cousin Benny Yanguas recommended this hotel because they always stay here when his daughter had functions with her classmates. We stayed at almost top of the hotel overlooking the pool and we could see the whole area of Las Vegas. All the staffs are friendly and most specially most of the staffs there that I met are Filipinos. They are hard workers,!that I know! We will go back to stay there if we go back to Las Vegas again. The only thing that I do not like is it s weather. It always makes my skin so dry. Otherwise I will always recommend South Point Hotel
Love this place. Food, live music. Great resort place to do whatever you want. Entertainment, movies, gambling and straight up a good time.
Had happy hour cocktails & dinner at the Asian restaurant. Food was pretty good & prices were reasonable. Slots were much looser than casinos on the strip!
I love how late bingo runs at South Point. The staff is nice because they offered to give us two drinks in the beginning and then came around to take orders for a second round in the middle of bingo. It doesn't hurt that my friends and I hit a great payout.
A little away from the main casino center, but, low minimum bets is good for low budgets like me. The best part is, however, is the oyster bar. Their dishes are so worth it!

Cool casino, ate at the diner here, food took longer then it should have and wasn't cooked well. There were 6 of us and 3 of us had to send our food back (I never do that).
The rooms were pretty decently priced, the casino was on first floor, their buffer was very delicious. There are also unlimited mimosas, bloody Mary's etc on certain days.
A fun place to go to. Clean establishment. Friendly workers. Great security. I feel safe when I'm there. One time I forgot my cell phone at the Bingo hall, it was returned to me. They took the time and brought to the lost and found. I'm very greatful!
Great hotel, friendly staff at check in and out. Lots of things to do there at the resort itself. From watching a movie in their theater, to bowling and enjoying the pool, spa, dinning and the casino itself. Would be a 5 just the distance from the strip was about 8 miles. The room were great as well.
Nice casino. I enjoyed the $5 black jack tables, movie theater and cafe.
Good variety of restaurants. Sheets are very soft and comfy. Location is off the strip but its very accessible. Occasionally you'llget a big whiff of the horses from the equestrian arena but it's not unpleasant. Very aesthetically pleasing.
The only part of this hotel I used was a Cafe that was indoors & open to passing guests & part of the slot machine area. Noise was not an issue; I wouldn't have noticed the slot machines at all if they weren't in my line of sight.
The hostess was very accommodating, setting up a table for 8 quickly, with no prior notice. The service was a little slow but the menu offered a wide variety of options & everyone was satisfied with their meals. Don't forget to specify salad dressing on the side, if that's the way you want it served!

Stayed at South Point out of convenience to the bowling tourney held there. As far as bowling facilities, great for regular bowling and tournaments. I felt that the hotel areas were warm but the bowling alley arena was well cooled. Food was good.
