Spacious, Clean, good service, has everything!! Nice people
Very clean and spacious rooms. Great restaurants. Friendly service. Free parking for self parking. A little far from the main Las Vegas action but pretty close to the airport.
Love this place. Great value for rooms and facility. Buffett had been upgraded and is now pretty good. Very nice spa facility with multiple water areas including a water fall massage. Only weakness is that pool area is extremely basic by Vegas standards. Still, this is a very good place to stay at.
About what you'd expect from a decent hotel/casino in Vegas. They do have a theater on site, which is helpful since they are a bit distant from the main strip. We enjoy eating at Steak and Shake in the casino, decent prices for a burger fries and a shake.
First came into the room and used the shower. The drain was clogged. When you pulled up for the shower lever the faucet was loose and almost came out of the wall. Had to walk about a mile to our room as well. The beds were the hardest beds I have ever felt! If you are wanting a soft comfortable bed, this is not the place for you. My back is killing me after 5 nights! Resort fees? So i pay a set price online and get to the hotel and am told I owe $105 extra... you cant build that into the packages you offer?? If you want to take an Uber or Taxi from here and go to the strip or fremont st you will pay from $23-$45 one way! If you are looking to take in the night life I suggest staying downtown. Much cheaper overall after you figure the cost of Uners and taxis. I will be back only for the USBC tourney and will be staying somewhere else.
Love the Friday night seafood buffet! Yummy food and great service.
The South Point is a sprawling casino, way off the strip. It's primarily used for equestrian events, but also holds the annual Vegas shoot for archery. It's so self contained, it has its own bowling alley, movie theater and multiple restaurants.
Food was great. Good ventilation and pleasant atmosphere.
A really great casino , excellent service and knowledgeable staff
We went for dinner at the Primarily Prime. It was very, very good. Prices were very reasonable and the staff were amazing. We even won money at the slot machines on the way out.
Good casino, with outstanding race and sportsbook. Two sportsbooks, one just for horseracing fans and the other for all other sports betting.
It's lovely place! Everything it's just...high class!
Its a great place to go & relax & gamble & drink a couple ones. They have great food & there employees are very nice & the waitress are nice too. Great Place to go have a good time..
First time at this casino. Wen to the movies there. From my prospective, it is a nice place.Very clean and excellent service. They have it all.
I really liked everything in the hotel. The only thing I did not like was the buffet and the cafe. Both were disappointing. We liked Miguel's. Did not go to other restaurants in hotel. Rooms were nice. The elevators were so slow! Did not like that. Wish there were more seats in lobby area by the event center.
Very nice staff, accommodating. Affordable. Good food. Great entertainment. We had a wonderful time.
The buffet, specifically the prime rib, excellent. Best value in Las Vegas. Tender, all you can eat, only 15.95/ person. Casino not smoky either. You can breathe there.
Took the family to eat at the cafe. Service was excellent and food was pretty good. I have ate there many times. They also have a great Mexican food restaurant and they have a Steak n Shake. Movie theater is nice and they also have a bowling alley.
Love the Southpoint for their promotion of team roping events, and the National Finals Rodeo. The restaurants are amazing, as is the staff.
Went to the movies here. The seats were comfy and the floor was clean. Personable ticket agents that conversed with you.
Always a good meeting place for locals or family from out of town. Events and food are great!
Awesome hotel with tons and tons of amenities. Restaurants movie theaters bowling and horse arena. Great prices when we stayed for amazing comic con.
This casino / resort is quieter and off the strip. The atmosphere is very casual and laid-back. The machines are mostly older virtual poker with not much variety. Not a bad place, but I wouldn't stay here due to lack of variety of machines, and generally being far away from the Strip.
I like the size of the rooms and the amenities with exception of parking that was a hassle depending on what time you came in the evening.
Average. Rooms clean but why a phone next to the toilet. Hallway carpeting has seen better days. Good room rates but I'll try elsewhere next time.
Great place to stay. Off the strip a bit but great amenities and restaurants and excellent value.
Went there to Bowl in the National Championships. Lot of good resturants great buffet.
Not the best hotel I've stayed at in Vegas. Though for the room rate, it's very hard to beat. The spa is also pretty great and rivals the spas at many resorts I have stayed at in the past. Buffet is pretty good, but nothing spectacular.
Great spot with a "local feel". Will he glad to go back again and would recommend to anyone visiting LV!
Employees very friendly and helpful. Clean and well kept hotel
We attended an athletic event and even though there were other events happening, it was easy to find and the venue was top notch.
Great Place!!! Great Comps, Most of thier restaurants have good food, great bowling alley and great gaming! Favorite casino in Vegas. If you are going to eat there stay away from the buffet, seafood spot and main cafe. All the other restaurants are great!! Only complaint is they should have more locals deals
A very nice casino to hangout at and less crowded than on the strip
Newer Las Vegas hotel with everything you need to truly make your stay a great one. Convenient location, easy on and off I15 and shuttle service to the Strip
Nice huge casino, clean and lots of places to dine...
There so many good resteraunts and things to do. Nice play to stay
Went for the buffet. Great food, reasonably priced.
Beautiful casino very clean with machines that payout!
Many options for dining at decent prices. Smaller minimum bets than the strip casinos. Clean, spacious rooms. Great service. Lots of entertainment options too (movie theater, bowling alley, equestrian center)
I enjoyed my stay!! The valet staff, front desk staff was very friendly and welcoming. Our room was clean and the bed was comfortable!! The buffet Seafood night and brunch was awesome!!! Love the South Point Hotel and Casino!! I would of gave 5 stars except the gaming was horrible!! Tight machines!!!
Prices are good ..the rooms were clean.. we enjoy aour one night, we enjoy the service and that it was a lil away from the strip.
Beautifull place though I think they kind of stole from me
.. I tried to buy the whole place.... Lost money maybe lost love too....
.. though it is beautifull .... And everything is just right in there for what it is....
Trying to be a part of something sometimes hurts so bad..
..
Hotel very clean , free valet parking, price is good , but they don t have microwave
Great places to eat, they even have a hot dog stand for a dollar twenty-five. Very popular 4 anxious gamblers. For lunch I ate at the garden buffet,$14 and a great selection of ethnic foods.
Nice rooms, friendly staff, many things to do here. It SEEMED like the slots were a little more giving here, but that will depend on what you play.
this was a very nice hotel .everybody was very nice and helpful
Best combination of quality and price in Las Vegas. Love the food, movie theaters, gambling and the rooms. Just be warned that even though it's on Las Vegas Blvd it's miles away from the Strip. Also it's extremely Gluten Free Friendly with gluten free options at most restaurants.
Love love love this place!! The only place I stay now when I come to las Vegas!!
Rooms very clean and very nice. Some staff members are nice, others not so much. Much more smokey than other hotels, but also much cheaper. Great value. Not to overwhelming in terms of number of people, so it's a great place to get away.
Very nice hotel to be away from the strip a bit fancy but not quite as fancy as the hotels directly on the strip in the center of everything. Deli food was good but the prime rib was just par nothing special
Went to see a movie here. Half the staff was courteous. Paid for a special event that came with benefits. Not all benefits were provided, but they did their best to accommodate us and try to help us out
Great place to stay while in Vegas. Just because it's off the strip doesn't mean anything. The food was good with lots of choices. If you want to save money while in Vegas but still have a great time I encourage you to stay here. I can't say enough about how great the staff is and how helpful they were. Plan on going back down the road.
Went because the buffet wait is usually minimal, it was. For the selections the $90 for 4 was expensive and would not recommend going forward. With that said the omelet and prime rib were tasty that ends my recommendation on dishes. Unfortunate in the past the buffet was reasonably priced and the food was tasty.
Food is outstanding, service is always fast and friendly. Always an enjoyable experience
First of all, your buffet is garbage. I paid nearly $100 for five people with a coupon. The food is just average nothing to write home about. It is probably why you do not advertise your prices. Then, I found a roach in my room. I went to the front desk to complain and was told that it is normal for roaches to be in rooms at this time by the mgr. She told me that I would have to file a report with security and they would have to inspect my room. She offered us to move, but it was around 1000PM and we were leaving the next day in the morning. No one should have to stay at any place that thinks it is okay for roaches to be in their room. And neither should anyone that allows this type of filth. I will never return to this hotel
New nice Casino we came on a road trip from California and 1st road trip I've ever been on and we play at the casinos in California but there's nothing like the casinos out of state because they're magnificent and it's a total different environment then the casinos in California I like to hear because it also had a history look to it for the Native American Indians and after I took my trip to New Mexico and I enjoyed learning about the history Long the way there and back I get home and I find out that I'm Cherokee myself so I learned a lot through this trip and I had a lot of fun at this casino.
This is my spot! Great sports book! Amazing food! Restaurants! Gambling, movie theater! Bowling! Cant go wrong here!
Cheap rooms and great service. Location is not too far from the strip. Only about 10 minutes in a car. The rooms are very clean and the casino and hotel and not as busy as the ones on the strip. I would highly recommend this for anyone who wants a great room for cheap.
Its always so clean. Employees are amazing, friendly & very helpful. I played texas hold em & loved their poker room. First class all the way.
Southpoint is a must see when in Vegas. We love hosting our real estate office Winning Realty events in the bowling alley. It's amazing for the kids of our real estate agents too as they not only put up the bumpers but also have kiddie ramps. Amazing staff too. Can't go wrong with Southpoint.
Awesome experience! People are so nice
Will return again!
Not very nice. The "premium" room I stayed in was all shades of ugly dark brown and felt very depressing. The flooring was some sort of fake wood plastic or laminate which made for a very cold feel which was not inviting or cozy. There was plenty of parking and I got a coupon for 1 lunch buffet at half price so that was pretty good. I would only stay here if it was necessary because there are many similarly prices nicer hotels around.
I go here almost every weekend this place is great.
Clean covid prevention styled gamblin an good eats y'all
Arena show venders were fabulous....well worth our trip
Very nice hotel! A bit off the strip but worth it. Rooms are large and nicely decorated. The staff was very nice and helpful. We would saty there again!
Good place to go. Nice rooms, plenty of restaurants. Store your car underground while we were in Hawaii for a week.
Had lunch at steak and shake can't go wrong. They still have an awesome sports book, smells smokier than last time we were here though.
This was a great place to gamble. No longer as far as my experience tells me.
Nice place. Lots to do. The only negative is they said in my reservation that they have free airport shuttle, however when I called to find out the schedule they told me it only runs once every 3 hours.
For memorial day and Veterans Day they treat Veterans and a guest to a free buffett.
Very clean
All staff members were very courtesy an polite
Beautiful hotel
The hotel was great the casino was a whole different story I understand they need the money right now but how fast they take it from you was frustrating
side. Atmosphere and friendly staff clean hotel and plenty of parking.
Awesome place!! Will definitely go back! Shout out to Carlos and Sean in th sports book bar, great job!!
Good for locals. I play mostly table games. Gets a bit crowded during the rodeo events. A bit difficult to get your reward points, but still my go to for a laid back time.
Well Im a local. Machines are now tighter then ever. NO social distancing. Many people NOT wearing masks. No temperature checks but they might check it if you're staying there. With covid on the rise why would you take the chance.
Not as upscale as some of the other casinos on the strip. Very affordable, and many food options. Friendly staff. Almost any amenity you would want or need. Always a good time.
The rooms are nice and spacious. There is a couch and king size bed in my inexpensive room. The shower has an oversize head so it blankets you in water. The restraunts downstairs are good. Only downside is that smoking is permitted in the casino.
Always come here for Steak n Shake as well as the theater. Great every time
Hotel/casino is beautiful and the only buffet in town.
The main room decor was very nice looking. Nice looking staff members. Great theatre
Went for the buffet for NYE. I was pleasantly surprised. The good was good with a wide variety and the seafood was plentiful. The prime rib was amazing!
Nice local hotel with a decent buffet, a good cafe and Steak n Shake (to name a view). If one is allergic to horses and the scent of them, they should stay away though.
From movie theaters to bowling Alleys this place has it all covered. A great place to watch Sunday football. The dollar twenty-five hot dogs were great.
