Only visited for the restaurant, Michael's Gourmet Room, and the experience was first class! Great service, excellent food and a wonderful experience.
The casino is not on the strip but was only a 15 minute cab ride away.
I went to South Point for the NFR and honestly didn't even realize it was here. Located off the main drag, South Point still has the old Vegas feel with great deals on food and gaming. I can't wait to go back here for pleasure instead of business.
Overall ok but far from the main strip. Casino and other amenities are pretty low grade
Like the casino and the hotel. All good. Location is away from other things on the strip but it is worth it to go to or stay at south point.
Lovely casino. It is next door to the Grandview of Las Vegas. It is a very nice casino and its restaurants are really nice. Love that place.
We saw Frankie Scinta,he was fantastic!! THANK YOU Frankie for keeping the old Vegas Alive!,We haven't seen a show like this in 30 years! You are so talented!
A hidden gem in Las Vegas off the strip this place has it all slots food shows, spa movie theater good service and more
I love this place! But there was a few little mis haps in my room. The bedsheets were not made! They looked like they had just been washed, so I made the bed myself.
Had a good time. Family and I ate at the buffet in the casino area and it was okay. I asked one of the employees behind the buffet what a certain item was and he couldn't tell me if that explains anything. We then went bowling which was a really nice area. Family had a lot of fun there.
Great and nice Casino, restaurants have great food
Cool place to stay. Really cheap if you attend timeshare
Everything in a casino hotel and great amenities....love the Free Parking !!
Bowled USBC tournament here this year, well put together place, loved it!!
South Point always impressed me as a place to stay with a family. They have an in-house bowling alley and a 16 screen movie theater as well as a number of restaurants. I went here for the Steaks n shakes restaurant. There was a line but I got in within 10 minutes. Burgers, fries, hot dogs and shakes are the high light of the menu. Nothing on the menu over $8. And free open lot parking since they are a few miles south of those poor greedy casinos on the strip!
Nice Hotel. Room a little dated. Lots of in house activities. All of the restaurants close early and are not 24 hours. Great customer service. Overall good experience.
One of the best local casinos in Vegas. Restaurants are great, you have plenty of family activities and there pool is great for families as well. Best part you dont pay strip prices.
Very nice inside. Reminds me of the bigger casinos on the strip. Reward system isn't great, to many points needed to get any kind of reward. Takes a lot of slot play to earn points. Kinda expensive. But they do offer a free adult comedy show on Friday nights....did not see a sign saying there was a drink minimum. Nice selection of restaurants choices. Great option if you don't want the hustle and bustle of a strip hotel.
Steak and Shake at this location us the best on the planet!
Only downside is overuse of air conditioner!
They need to set it at 73/75 and leave it alone!
Only 2.5 miles from my house. What's not to like. Just need to be richer so I could go more often. Love the bingo and slots. I have never had a bad meal at the Cafe. Their Pad Thi is to die for.
The turkey in the garden buffet is pretty good. The room is decent clean, but you will need extra shampoo. The housekeeper always has big smile on her face, overall, it's a nice experience
Great place. Parking sucks when an event is happening but otherwise solid entertainment.
The rooms were clean. Although there is smoking in the casino, the rest of the hotel was surprisingly smelling smoke free.
Pretty much everything about this hotel is really awesome, I would just like more nightlife dance clubs for the couples who stay out later, restaurants, bowling and the movies are wonderful amenities.
Dirty at 12:30 on Friday nights at the grand view lounge is the best show in Las Vegas and it's free! Best show in town. Go see it.
Only went to the buffet. It was very nice. Food was fresh. No long lines.
I went to the South Point Hotel Casino and Spa to visit with a friend who is staying there while in town. It's the first time I've been there. Everything was very clean and beautiful. The room my friend had was very nice. The staff at the front desk was very helpful and accommodating when she thought she needed to stay an extra night, and were just as helpful and accommodating when she had to cancel that extra night because she'd realized there had been a miscommunication and she didn't need an extra night after all. No problems with refunding her the money. We ate at Steak and Shake and the food was excellent, as was the service. That's the extent of my experience.
Great venue for the NRCHA, clean comfortable rooms, great places to eat. Love Coronado restaurant and Steak and Shake. Wonderful service.
Steak and shake is awesome such a good cheap place to eat
Very self-contained. Southpoint has everything oh, there's no need to go to the strip or into the city.
The Steak n Shale alone makes it a 4. Everything else males ot a 5
Nice hotel! Has many features, friendly staff, beautiful swimming pool!!!
The BMX is well organized and the property is clean and Family Friendly
Awesome place to stay and eat. Enjoyed prime rib, filet and that good fish fry from the Oster Bar!!!
First time there the place was gorgeous although I was misled by the price of the buffet it stated that it was $20 for dinner which was a Thursday night and $17 for card members but when I got my card they said it would be $3 off the buffet so I assumed it was going to be $14 not the case very misleading I didn't win no money there but I really enjoyed the scenery of the whole place being a first-time guest. Hopefully I get something from them
South Point Hotel Casino & Spa is fantastic coming up to it it looks gorgeous the gold just brightens up everything around you. You feel like royalty as you walk through the door. The staff there are fantastic very friendly very informative and easy to get along with. Casino is gorgeous Bright Lights cheer for Attitudes everyone with smiles on their face. The restaurants and eateries are five stars to me I really enjoyed eating drinking and having a merry time at South Point Hotel Casino in Spa. And did I fail to mention that I won on the slots?
We always visit the south point when we stay in Vegas! Things have changed a little since the pandemic but they are as accommodating as possible. The Garden Buffet has AMAZING Prime Rib and excellent service.
Very nice casino with all the bells and whistles. I think the cocktail waitresses and bartenders need new uniforms though haha
Love this place!! It's like it's own little city. The beds are comfy, very clean. So many restaurants and places to eat n drink! Love the pool area I will stay here everytime!!
We like to go to south point to gamble. As local we dont go downtown as much due to traffic. South point has the same feel as the main strip without all the hassle.
Went to the MOVIES!!! Aladdin was excellent.
Clean theater, friendly staff.
Its family friendly, don't both gambling, I've not seen anyone actually win. Cafe food is gross, but kids love the steak and shake place for food. Equestrian area is awesome.
Parking is easy and free and the movie theater is nice. The seats are leather, cushy, and comfortable.
There is something for everyone here... including the kids. Probably going to be a regular go to whenever we go to Vegas.
I love South Point! The bars are great and inexpensive. Friendly bartenders. There is a movie theater inside which is a plus. The seats inside are very comfortable. The bingo is so much fun! If you play bingo you get a free drink or two while you play. It seems to be a very popular bingo hall. The Coronado restaurant is amazing! Really cheap midnight specials. Steak and eggs, burgers, etc for under $5. Even when I'm not staying close to South Point I always make sure to stop by at least once. This is one of my favorite casinos in Vegas!
I go to the cafe for breakfast. Food and service are always good and $1 bloodies makes it all the better!!
Large hotel and casino. It's a long walk to rooms from any entrance including the parking garage. A good value and not much of a drive to the strip. I'd recommend it and the coupons when you check in add to the value. Lots of venues for many activities on site as well. The food is great.
The cocktail waitresses never come around. We were told they go around every 15 minutes and not one came out or by the 2 hours we were there. We move to another area and the cocktail waitresses were rude. Due to my brother in law just that finished his game she did not want to get him a drink... It's not like we don't tip on every drink we order. She said "Im not getting him a drink, he's not playing" Even tho we all were. So we just left.
The hotel itself was really nice and spacious. They had a variety of activities to engage in such as bowling and movie theatres. Good parking situation as well.
Sufficient casino. Need more restaurants. Sportsbook is the only one I know open 24hrs a day. Nothing fancy just very accommodating.
Late night eating at their cafe is the best! The prices are less than $5 and you get a full plate of food! There's never any wait time and the service is always friendly!
just did not have the vegas feel.way to far from the strip,45.00 cab ride to fremont. rooms ok no tub just a shower, but the room was very quiet.
Very friendly and informative bowling staff. Our team came in for the tournament from NM.
Big beautiful lovely Hotel just a little off the beaten path
great place to say. staff is friendly. good selection at bars
I go here a couple times a year great staff rooms are nice plenty of places to eat and bowling alley is awesome
I've never had a bad experience here. I live here in las Vegas and come here often to eat, watch a movie in the theater, go bowling and playing table gaming and slots. There's a spacious steam room.
The buffet is pretty good and I enjoyed the food. It's not the best but still good. They have other places to eat such as an oyster bar, a 24 hour cafe,...
It's conveniently located right off the I15 freeway on Las Vegas Blvd but not in the heart of the strip. Self parking is free and convenient.
Love the $5.00 movies on Tuesday's. Steak and Shake has really good milkshakes.
Good poker room, steak and shake inside was great. Even better, movie theatre inside was very nice as well. Great break from the tables..
My daughter and I visited Stake and Shake st South Point. The service was great, fast, and polite. The food was delicious and it was plentiful. We plan to return.
Fun, casual place. Still free parking. Upscale but still old Vegas vibe.
Good poker room.
Really a nice place not too good for gambling for me but they have some wonderful and delicious hot dogs
Nothing bad to say ever. Great staff, loose slots, great payouts at the tables and always always clean.
Clean well located love the parking. I in injoy my self when l stay there !! I was on a plane to Hawaiian airlines and they liked it to.
My Favorite Place To Stay, but a little high priced. Great Food Options, as well as non-gambling entertainment.
I love south point! You can either go bowling, watch a movie or gamble. Then at midnight, you can grab some steak and eggs for $5 at the Coronadp Cafe!
If you want to stay at a good Las Vegas Hotel A great place to stay is South Point! They have excellent Restaurants! Great Entertainment. Lots of fun!
We are locals and really enjoy going here for all the free rodeo events. The casino is large and clean.
Can't say enough about the team roping or barrel racing events. Check online for the free events it's a nice way to spend some family time!!
Great rooms, movie theaters, bowling, 10 restaurants; NO need to leave. Awesome workout room & pool, also.
We had a wonderful time. You can gamble, eat ,go bowling watch a movie all in one place.
I took my father in law here and he had a blast!!
I love that there are many options for food and drinks here!!
Service was amazing and we had fun watching nascar at the bar upstairs!!
They charge you a service fee of 21 dlls each day you stay. They didn't notify me until I was at check in.
Nice hotel and casino something for everyone of all ages bowling alley a plus
Th s t me of the year, when the NFR s n town, th s s where you w ll f nd the most cowboys & cowg rls. The place s ciean fr endiy & easy to access no matter how busy t gets. They have great breakfast spec ais, a w de var ety of mach nes & a c nema.
