Service was good. Room was clean. All staff was extremely polite. Great customer service.
Check in was smooth, room is spacious...shuttle from airport was on time, will be trying some of the restaurants in the next few days!
Great place to stay, arena downstairs to watch rodeo, awesome food & service
Very nice place to stay with a lot to do. It is off the strip, so if you're looking for knockout drag-out party time, this is not the place for you. I like this place because it is quiet, has all the amenities I need, and is a good place for families. The restaurants are top-notch, with a wide variety from burgers and fries to very high-end steaks. Southpoint hotel and casino can fit anybody's budget that would like to travel to Las Vegas. Also, it is a short ride to old town and the strip. The rooms are spacious with television, Wi-Fi and spacious bathrooms. Housekeeping does a great job and the front desk is very efficient with check-in, checkout and any thing you may need. Parking is free and easily accessible with plenty of covered parking for guests. If you are an early riser, the cafe has breakfast specials from midnight until 6 am. I was able to get a large breakfast for a very small price. I will say, the only reason I did not give it a 5, is because at times the service in some of the restaurants was a little too slow. I forgot to take pictures, so I am unable to post any at this time. But since I would definitely stay at South Point hotel and casino again, I will be posting pictures in the future!
Spent time at the pool. It was pretty basic and smelled of horse manure.
Great place to have fun and see some great shows. Food here is priced very affordable.
South Point Casino is one of my favorite places to gamble and get steak & eggs
I still don't understand how you can allow smoking inside...(actually I understand). But the atmosphere in the casino is terrible especially if you are not a smoker. Hotel is decent but a little bit old fashioned.
Like I said the machines are very tight. I used to take $50. And play different machines for hours. Now $50. Gone in one machine in two seconds, no more than three minutes.
Has every thing for a family vacation. Disappointed with Baja Megel food, too Americanized, lack of flavor. Last 3 dining there-same results.
I always love going to South point for their breakfast specials. Was a really nice treat when my boyfriend took me there after work
Love this hotel casino! It's probably the nicest atmosphere of any in town anywhere. The strip hotels have forgotten about us locals and they parking fees they charge us are outrageous. I won't be on the Strip unless absolutely necessary! Southpoint forever!
Very clean hotel with friendly staff. Really nice pool area. Large race and sports book. Very good steakhouse, and coffee shop. What else do you need? Inexpensive rooms, they have them too!
Very nice we went Thanksgiving weekend .I enjoyed our stay except for one thing ,your security yes it's nice that after midnight you have Security asking for the room keys that's fine that's a good thing what we do need is a security with bad attitude I don't like to be threatened I had no idea we needed to show the room key and the way he approached us was uncalled for I feel threatened by him and there was no reason for him to talk to us that way and that really pissed me off we were not drinking we were just minding your own business going to a room there was no reason for him to give us that dang attitude!!
Best Hotel and Casino off the Strip. Best sports and racing room anywhere in Las Vegas. High ceilings and great air flow -- nonsmokers won't believe how clean the air is.
Lots of things to do there. My advice get a club card there with that you get a good discount at the garden buffet, my favorite place to eat.
One of my favorite hotels casinos to visit in Las Vegas staff is very friendly and they got a A wonderful theater and steak and shake
I love this place. Excellent customer service. Everything you need is there for your visit.
Good location for out of state travellers to post up at.
South Point has everything as far as entertainment and food go. Decent slots that keep you playing.
Love it all. Food Poker dealers. Pool,
Two of the best are on town. South point is one of the two
Always a pleasure to stay and enjoy our weekend of BMX racing. Wish they had microwave in room and better prices on the food.
Steak and eggs midnight special are my weekend go to meals with friends!
South Point is great for those that don't want to be in the middle of the strip. Good variety of food, and very friendly staff. Clean and spacious rooms.
Wait here for a pulling competition was easy enough to find Lanes and very spacious lots of seating.
Casino is clean. Try their steak and eggs for $4.99. Great price.
Great Hotel, Good Restaurants and a great variety of Slots.
I love the movie theater. Popcorn is great! And so was the the movie "US".!!
The bellboys staff so cold in customer service, I felt a little bit with fear to ask them anything, they always had a not, instead of saying let us look for an alternative or any solution
Little outdated, but cozy home feeling, nice selections at the buffet, best deal in Vegas
WENT TO THE TOW SHOW FOR HEAVY TOWING AND RECOVERY TRAINING HAD BUFFET FOR LUNCH IT WAS ALL GREAT
Clean, great service and amenities. You never have to leave the hotel, everything you need to have a wonderful experience are there!
Greart place for everything off the strip. Highly recommend you check it out
Sports wagering area is fine (no cigars). Various restaurants available. Cocktail waitresses no where to be seen during one of the World Cup games.
Casinos are the about the same everywhere, I love the movie theater, all seats recline a little. Haven't been bowling, but if you have kids it's great entertainment for them. THE Steak And Shake has awesome shakes. Buffet is pretty good and has great prices compared to the strip hotels.
One of the very few casinos where you can do a lot of fun things without leaving the premises. Live shows, amazing restaurants, bowling, movie theater, watch sports, conventions.
The cafe was delicious for a brunch area. I had wished I had known about the midnight special previously for the night before. I would have loved to enjoy the $5 steak and eggs
Very spacious, clean, and we'll lit casino. The bartenders are especially friendly as well as the cashiers. It's off the strip so you won't be inundated with lots of tourists, but it still has that Vegas feel.
Rooms are spacious and inexpensive. Far from the Vegas strip, which I was looking for. Buffet is okay, not too fancy.
Enjoyed the casino nice atmosphere must try the theater the place has 68 screens
We love the South Point! We went to see Crystal Gayle and everything was perfect. We plan to come back next year when Crystal Gayle is appearing again.
Decided to try out the SP because of VSIN, to start this is a SMOKING hotel so if you smoke you re good. The Sports Book is great you can place a bet 24hrs a day, Staff was very friendly very willing to help you if you re new to the game. Gaming floor isn t that big but there was $5 Black Jack and all the regular games. Brent Musburger just chilling at the book. Room were big, clean and the shower was awesome for a big guy. Probably won t stay again because of the smoking but will definitely visit.
Rooms are spacious. Plenty of dining options. Bowling alley. Movie theater. Nice hotel away from the strip
There is a movie theatre there that is actually pretty nice. The Coronado Cafe has a midnight breakfast menu that is really awesome. Steak and eggs for $6! Huge cheeseburger and fries for $4! 21 and over only for the cafe.
Great lanes and affordable. Great family atmosphere
Super Bowl party VIP room great food service drinks very organize staff servers...
Love this "way down the strip" casino resort and spa. Rooms are spacious and clean. Staff is great. Casino and bars are perfect. Great steak restaurant and Mexican restaurant. Spa is extroidinarily welcoming and reasonable.
Excellent place to stay off the strip. Great accommodations and very friendly staff.
Great experience. It was well kept and the staff were friendly. It was a great off strip experience and I'll definitely go back.
Nice little place, however if they banned smoking it would be way better and more enjoyable.
It was clean, the staff was friendly and helpful. If you are bringing the kids you're going to love it, movie theater swimming pool.
I visit here every Summer, and it never disappoints. Plenty of restaurants. Access to the strip via shuttle. Tons of slots and games. The rooms are spacious. It's everything you want.
Really good locales place. Rooms and pool are great. Covenant parking, great service and an even better price. Near the LV Strip but far enough away for a more affordable and relaxed feel.
This place is my heaven on earth!!! They have anything and everything to keep you entertained and satisfied!!! Can t wait to come back !!!
Crappy Dirty Place unfriendly staff, If your gambling takes forever to get a drink. I would not recommend this place.
Great place for movies if you're not a big gambler. Wonderful restaurants. Convenient garage parking.
Great place for horse competitions, A+ all the way!!
Nothing special although if your from So Cal they do have a DuPars. The gaming is uninspired. Too many poker or ace, king, queen machines. Needs Goldfish or Monopoly ir Pemguins. There are no real penny slots. They cost .30 cents or more and if you don't bet the max (2.00 or so) you can't win jackpots. So I don't play those machines. We're getting to where we don't care if we play.
Used to be you could play for a while before it took your money now you don't get to play much before it takes your money. I don't go to Vegas to win but to have fun.
Free valet parking. Many different restaurants to choose from. Ate at many and food was good. Nice large clean rooms.
At Southpoint Casino, my favorite casino. Poker and slot machines.
So much fun. Shows were awesome the M Town one specifically
Only hotel in Vegas I felt wanted you to stay there! Paid $71 for our room! FREE PARKING! After midnight they have $4.95 steak plates! Gave us a coupon book! THE POOL HAS NO SHADE like real life zero no umbrellas! The pool closes at 10pm. U get a free coupon book with a 2 free drinks and some other discounts.
Absolutely loved it. Rooms were clean, beds were very comfortable. Plenty of restaurants to choose from. Shuttle service from airport. I had traveled from VA to see my grand daughter graduate from high school so I didn't get a chance to gamble but there is a huge casino with many gaming tables. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to be off the strip and more secluded.
Always enjoyed dropping by for a drink or fine dining
I went to this Casino because my son in law is a poker player and enjoyed my time talking to my daughter. The people there are awesome and very friendly. One of the best places to go to in Vegas.
good sportsbook. The Friday midnight show is awesome
Great place to go for equestrian events, saw Gladius there and it was awesome.
My brother stayed here and we were impressed with his room and the casino
A couple of friends and I went to check out the casino at South Point Hotel & Casino since it was fairly close to his house. If you're not aware of it already, this hotel will have rodeo events, so there are stables on property and you be able to smell it as you walk in. Luckily when we visited, there wasn't any rodeo going in, so smell went away as soon as we walked in. It's not a terrible smell, but keep that in mind if you're sensitive to smells. From what my friend who's a local here said that when the rodeo is in town, the smell can come in the casino. Inside, the casino was nice and clean. A lot of newer machines, a bunch if different table games, and sports betting in the corner. The layout is pretty easy to navigate. The down side is while we were playing, I wanted to get something to eat late at night and everything was closed. It wasn't a big deal, but would've been nice to have while my friend was on a 2 hour run on a poker machine. There were a few places that was open when we got there that looked good, but started to shut down after midnight. We had a good time otherwise.
Unlike the casinos on the strip, you actually win.. As a platinum mlife and diamond card holder, South Point slots gives a better return..
Love it. Bowling alley, movie theater, Nascar buffet. Horses and bull riding.
Closest casino to our house and we're grateful for it! Unfortunately last time we went there for early morning breakfast the service was slow and unaccommodating, food was cold and bacon tasted terrible
Great place for the family, clean rooms, plenty of things to do with the kids.
I always like visiting this place. The atmosphere is pretty rustic, but the food is great, the hotel rooms are beautiful, and the service is fantastic. I even like the midnight bowling.
The rooms are very spacious and updated. Staff was very friendly and the food was decent. The rest of the casino is very outdated but very clean.
Nice place but no luck on anything could be me but I wasn't alone and we all did the same
Very nice local casino, highly recommended to at least visit.
