We were there for rodeo week , fantastic , food was good in all restaurants, staff were on it, and the place was full of extremely polite and friendly cowboys and girls .
It was a delight to be there
I love it here. Great food, great rooms, friendly customer service big casino. I'll be back again!
Great rooms! We love the Poker Room, the bowling alley, great restaurants, and the $1.25 Vienna Beef hotdogs served in the lobby are the bomb! A couple of miles from the Strip, but really worth checking out!
Clean rooms, friendly service, good food and drinks
We went to Steak N Shake for a family meal. Had s nice time. Burgers were great, fried were over done.
Attended the home show and needed an energy boost. Staff was very helpful in directions to the gift shop. Soper friendly and helpful!!
Didnt stay here but wished I did. Better prices, clean, theatre and bowling alley. Not overpriced. I will be staying here next time.
Great place. great food, great staff, great shows, lots of restaurant choices. Beautiful casino.
Great locals casino..good restaurants and good service
Some nice restaurants inside the hotel. Pool is nice too. A bit cumbersome getting from rooms to horses though. And the horse trailer parking is pretty far out there. Staff rushes you to unload horse trailer, so not an altogether pleasant welcome. My stall on the end was close to arena, but not well lit. Liked the footing in main arena, but the setup for the dressage courts was a bit awkward.
The King Crab leg dinner was AWESOME...the crab legs are already opened so u just pull the meat out and enjoy your seafood also the aintree was delicious with very large shrimp..im definitely going back when i visit Vegas again
It has a movie theater, bowling alley, and a large swimming pool. I love the food selections and having a steak and shake there really made it priceless.
Awesome look spacious look like new casino, including bowling, theater many more aslo more get money play slots,Coronado cafe excellent service fast and delicious breakfast
Today was not a good experience with South Point. History ....this was an amazing hotel back when we first stayed at South Coast, excellent customer service, amazing pools and our family "go to" for a Las Vegas retreat. Unfortunately, today the swimming pool was closed and main reason we come to Las Vegas to relax in cool waters in the morning before it gets hot. Disappointing! No time frame when it will reopen, no communication to guests it was closed and no compensation for amenities not fulfilled. The rumor mill shared it was closed yesterday evening. I hope they give those guests that expressed their disappointment the compensation they deserve. Some families save to spend a retreat in Las Vegas so do the right thing South Point. Our family is seriously thinking of going elsewhere for our next weekend summer retreat in Las Vegas.
Really nice. Gone to their movie theatre. Have live bands.
Great food, sizeable portions, affordable prices, and friendly staff.
Location bad and seemed dead all the time. Poor food options
The more I play Pai Gow the more iam convince the shuffle machine is rigged, not only at South Point but stations, Orleans and gold coast, but iam probably wrong cus that wud go against the gaming commission rules, just to many statistical anomalies to think other wise, sorry!
Spacious, confortable rooms. Great pool areas, when they're open, as windy days are problematic. Of course, as a non-smoker, I think it's way too smoky, and that smoke easily infiltrates the main floor restaurants. It's inconvenient that the upstairs restaurants are closed Mondays and Tuesdays, since they're the tastiest moderately priced options. The buffet is large, but not the best quality compared to others in Vegas. The best amenities are all the SP has to offer with fabulous sleeping areas, movie theater, bowling, arcade for kids, pool, arena, etc. Worth getting off the Strip for.
They have some good places to eat but kinda has that old smokey Vegas smell
Close to the airport, lots of action and winners on my last visit
Great Las Vegas hotel that is not in the strip so you'll save some money. Lots of great restaurants inside. Has an equestrian rink for horse shows. A very nice spa and gym. Contemporary but with some old Las Vegas charm. The famous strip is 2 mi or so down the road and easily accessible with a shuttle.
Great service and staff. This is the place to go if you don't want to stay on the strip, but still want to be close. Great rates mid week.
We needed to kill some time before returning our rental car, so we thought we would check this place out since they sponsor some race cars. It was very large, but convenient to get in and out of and around. We explored for at least an hour, went into the bowling arena (wow!), tried to check out their equestrian center but they were getting set up for a show. The movie theater looked amazing plus they have a family/public bowling area as well. A huge casino floor, lots of restaurants with very fair pricing. Next time we are town we will likely spend a night here. Very nice place!
The buffet is excellent, and the cod in tomato sauce made my lunch very enjoyable. The buffet is a real bargain, everything was fresh and well cooked. Better, bolder flavors than at most other buffets. Staff here is very nice and efficient. The casino itself is cool too. Nice decor, big screen slots.
My off-strip favorite. A great variety of table games plus a pretty decent poker room with good tournaments. Probably one of the best choices for families because there is an amazing cinema, bowling alley and arcade onsite. One of the most reasonably priced buffets in town. Technically, it's on Las Vegas Blvd but it's a few miles south of "The Strip". They have the whole cowboy thing going for them too. If you aren't into the rodeo check to make sure they aren't in town.
Fantastic restaurants good prices ... I had 12 oysters for $13 during their happy hour Monday through Thursday noon to 4. I had the soup it was excellent, coffee was delicious. The wait people were so accommodating and polite and friendly.
Nice place. I haven't stayed over night here, but have twice bowled the USBC Open Championships when held here. The restaurants are good with one exception, but there are enough that you can skip that one, and gaming here is laid back, and enjoyable.
We spent our girl's trip at this hotel. There is plenty to do without leaving the property. Of course, you will want to explore like we did, but just saying that this place offers comfort and safety. There are lots of restaurants with various food choices. Nightly entertainment, a movie theater, a bowling alley, an arcade, an equestrian arena and gambling. That is just naming a few things all under one roof.
Excellent! This place has everything to have fun. The ambient is very good. the food is very good and variated. It has many restaurants. The rooms are excellent. The first service.
Had lunch at their buffet, it was a reasonable price and good food. Salad bar is good and fresh. Good dessert bar.
Great off-the-strip casino. Been going here for about 7 years and it is very well priced. The outdoor pool is great.
Great spot but getting crowded at my kid's favorite restaurant in Vegas: "Steak and Shake".
Under the situation and no one really know what or how its gonna work.. they are doing as best a job as can be.. Courtesy, Customer service and patience is needed..
Enjoyed the margarita bar waiting for friends for dinner at their prime rib joint. Excellent service from staff at both places. Love the food as well.
The food in the cafe was excellent as well as the service.
Away from all the traffic of the strip or downtown. Family oriented.
Bathrooms are remodeled, games are fun. A lot more cashout machines and slots. Really enjoyed this last visit!
South Point Hotel is a beatiful hotel with an amazing gym the only complaint is that they close it too early. However we stayed at a smoking area room and it did not smell like smoke!! So that was a delight. For breakfast we went to the buffet and it had such a variety with delicious food.
Very nice and clean hotel with many restaurant options. Very reasonable prices and ton of amusement for everyone.
I think is one of the casinos with the more machines in vegas... but not sure.
Enjoyed a roping here. Ate upstairs at primarily prime rib it was fantastic!
Visited for garden buffet. Buffet food was decent and cheap. Overall atmosphere of casino is great. Lots to do: bowling, movie theater, kids arcade. Off the strip but lots to do.
All employees wearing face masks: Great. Social Distancing in Restaurants, Digital Menus: Great. Good Service and Food.
Phenomenal. This place has it all. My new go-to place to stay when I'm in Vegas
Great service! Great property! Really far away from main attraction, but everything you need is right on site. Super comfy bed, spacious room, and large bathroom. 5star!!!
Great hotel away from the craziness of the main strip. Lots of restaurants to choose from. And yes, plenty of opportunities to "win" some money at the machines. Rooms are clean and very nice.
Price, amenities, everything we need in one day lace
Saw wonder woman at the movie theatre there and everything was great until I played the roulette machine that has the wheel. In the middle. Huge mistake it hit green 3/4 spins. It's gotta be rigged or maybe I have terrible luck
Great Awesome Place, got finally rooms next year for Rodeo Finals
Great place. It's a nice place, up to date, and very friendly and knowledgeable staff. I would recommend going here to anyone.
Its decent. They have a cheap and good hot dog stand. The rooms are nothing to brag about. The payouts aren't very good at all.
Stayed for a week. Very disappointed with the quality and condition of the rooms. Definitely not a four star hotel.
The sofa and bed had stains, the pillows were hard and uncomfortable. If I had a pillow fight in the hotel I would have knocked someone out with them!
The decor and condition of the hotel is from the 60 s or 70 s and is in desperate need of a makeover. I would say the hotel is barely a three star hotel.
Would not recommend and will never go back!
Sweet, clean and very friendly. Decent prices on food, will return next year
It's ok, I used 2 really win big there, but u can't win anything.. It's doesn't look all that as nice as it once was ..
Clean. Friendly. Large poker room. Lots of tournaments
What a fabulous place! Great restaurants! Fun and pretty loose casinos!Clean rooms with everything you would want! I left my phone there in the room. But they mailed it to me,instantly! I will go back there, next Vegas visit!!!Miss it already!
My husband and I have been staying this hotel for a few years for the trade show.
This time my husband was not feeling well and I went to the front desk for late check out to 2pm so he could rest before our evening flight. They just rejected my request without considering my husband health situation. They told us the hotel was fully booked but the funny thing was we could pay $199and booked an extra night!
This should not be the way to treat your guest. We don't know if we'll stay here again and will pass on our experience to the tradeshow host.
What a disappointment at the end of our trip!!
Went to the movies. Had to call in advance to ask after tickets, person on the phone was extremely helpful. Everyone working at the theater was professional and friendly.
If your a local player avoid this casino and go to a station's casino. They allow people at the bars to sit at machines without playing which is the only casino in Vegas that i know of that allows this and does not put the player fist.
Only reason I didn't give it a five-star is because of their late night take out food selections. All the restaurants in the casino/hotel are tasty and fair to good priced, but every single one of them has a sign right up front saying no takeout orders. The room service price although not astronomically is higher, only a portion of the cafe menu, and is basically the only way to get a meal in the hotel other than sitting down in any restaurant. Some people may not find this a problem, 4 me almost a deal-breaker, but this is where my bowling league goes and other than that everything else is great. Please somebody in management get some form of to go food allowed, don't want to live off of late night snacks in your convenience store next time again LOL
Just a great time with lots of horse events, great food, great prices. Love the pool and everyones nice.
Great place to go if you want to head into a smokey casino and deal with the most confusing sports book set up there is. They have some great features and venues, but the fact that it's setup is a mess and the quality has gone downhill.
My favorite off the strip casino, it's got everything you need to be comfortable. I think this casino is not given the credit it deserves. They have shuttles that go to and from the strip so give it a try next time you are out in Vegas. I go a few times a year and always hit this casino.
Has something for everyone. Horses, bowling, lots of movies, casino, restaurants. And no traffic or parking problems like on the strip.
Had a good time..it may not be a major casino but the fun I had and me winning was very enjoyable
Ok. Sports book. But there is to much smoke in there.
Resort are is really pretty inclusing the pools. Payouts on slots not that great. Free drinks were smaller than average size.
Nice hotel/casino located off-strip. Host many events in convention center and offer affordable hotel room pricing
Best luck I've had in town. Great food options as well.
Because they r reasonable and the rooms look like u r in a expensive room
Really good buffet most of the time, they have a nice semi parking lot too. Its definitely my go to spot in Vegas.
Place was pretty cool. Enjoyed breakfast with friends.
