Hotel was nice and clean. Drinks were good. Service was good. However, cocktail waitresses were a bit stuck up, I guess you can say? ? Overall I liked the casino and will return to drink and play.

The room was very spacious with plenty of electrical outlets (a must these days!). Loved the coupons they give on check in for discounts at their restaurants and activities. Loved the movie theater with new releases and popcorn refills! Plenty to do and eat even though it is about 15 min from strip. Was easy to take an Uber anywhere. Favorite spot here was their restaurant Zenshin.

Open 24-hours, it is THE best sportsbook in town as far as moneyline underdogs are concerned. Great staff and electric atmosphere during sporting events. There's even a chance you'll run into brent musburger doing his show from the sportsbook broadcast booth.

It's a very clean place with a lot of things to do aside from gambling. The staff all around the hotel and casino were very friendly and helpful. We had a great time there and will definitely return.

Dropped in to the South Point, at the South end of the Las Vegas Strip, for the weekly Senior Slot Tournament. The South Point is a lovely locals casino that caters to the equestrian crowd and plays a big role in the year-end National Finals Rodeo, as host of the nightly buckle ceremony to celebrate each go-round's winners. The South Point has a bright & welcoming decor, nothing too fancy or too tacky. Dining ranges from Italian to Mexican to Steak & Shake. Entertainment includes a movie theater (senior discount with club card on movies before 4 pm,) a bowling alley, and a couple of showrooms.

I went there for the arcade/bowling and although the arcade was a bit pricey, I thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. The bowling is fun and intuitive, The arcade tides are better than any I've been to, and the nachos were pretty good. 10/10 would spend $70 again

This is a great casino! Their slots are usually pretty loose but last time i was there i didnt have much luck. The buffet there has excellent tiny fried shrimps!! Give this casino a try you will love it!

Went to the bowling alley with the family and placed a sports bet beforehand. Had a great time at the alley with the family. Price came out to $10 per person for 2 games. Excellent value for Las Vegas. Sports book people were polite, but I didn't do much other than give the numbers wanted and collect my slip

Beautiful, clean Hotel, great price. Whenever my family comes and visits they always stay at this hotel because the price is so great. Because all the other hotels on the Strip are very expensive.

We went to the garden buffet for lunch. It was a great deal and a nice selection of 5 different types of cuisine. Service was great. Our finished plates would stay on our table for no more than 2-3 minutes. They had real steak knifes by the carving table, which is quite rare.

A nice, if small and run down, casino south of the Las Vegas Strip, with several restaurants inside. The South Point has the only good Steak & Shake restaurant in Las Vegas, which is why we visit it. 5 stars for the Steak & Shake, 3 for the rest of the casino.

Went to the South Point to see a movie. The theaters are always nice and in good shape. The theater was empty for the movie we saw which was good for us, bad for business. The only downside is the amount of smoke in the southpoint. Having to force my kids to walk through the entire casino to get from the parking garage to get to the escalator for the theaters is terrible planning. There is never parking outside of the southpoint unless you park nearly on Las Vegas Blvd. Besides the outdoor parking and the walking through the smoke I do like the South Point overall.

This was our first time coming here. It's not great, but it's okay. We came here to eat for a friends birthday. The Mexican restaurant Baja Miguel's was good. The casino is filled with lots of good old machines, that was cool. The ones we miss double dimond and wild cherries. There was a lot of cowboy people there. I have nothing against cowboy hat boot wearing guys and gals. Just letting you know it case you like that this is your place. Maybe there was a rodeo or something. There was seriously a lot of cowboys. But all in all the restaurant is good the casino is ok.

Really big casino with nice low stakes available if needed. The room's a huge and very clean. They have 11 restaurants and activities every day. If you want to stay off the strip this place is definitely worth it!! They have rodeos conventions pageants everything is going on in this casino. Check it out!!

Normally we love it here. But the beds were hard. The maids slacked on shampoo and towels and cups etc. Just no attention to detail. Also business center charged 5 dollars just to receive a package for us. Really? Not included in the resort fee? Come on, most hotels will at least recieve a package for you at no charge.
Asked once for a manager. But no one could contact them.
Cafe food not up to par. Had a few meals there and normally it is quite good.
Too bad because normally this is one of our favorite stays.

This hotel casino is great! They have 11 restaurants full casino tables and slots. Bowling alley movie theater, pool, spa, equistrian center valet parking and the room rates are affordable. Very happy with our stay here.

I have stayed here several times traveling for business. The rooms are nice and the hotel is what you would expect. They have quite a few movie theaters and bowling alleys. I don't give 5 stars because I didn't love the options for food or entertainment. I feel like a complex this large should have some more high end options. I still went to the strip for meals and entertainment

Great resort. You don't really need to leave for anything. Spacious clean and comfortable rooms at a good price. The casino is well vented and doesn't smell like smoke. It is off the strip, but they have shuttles and like I mentioned before, you have everything you need right there. 16 theater, bowling, bingo, restaurants and great convention space.

Absolutely the worst experience I've had in a casino. I was giving my child a piggy back ride ( because his foot was hurt earlier in the day )when a security guard stopped us and told me he had to get down and walk. I thought he was joking. But no he said I could drop him and it would be the company's problem. I said his foot is hurt we're just walking to my car. But that didn't seem to matter . So my son, who is 10, had to limp through the casino floor in pain because his mother, ME, might drop him. Unacceptable. I will never step foot in that dump of a casino ever again.

Family oriented hotel with the restaurants, movie theater, bowling alley, and equestrian events. It's a nice distance from the chaos of the Strip, with free regularly scheduled shuttles down that way. I always encourage my friends to stay here.

Very nice hotel. Our first room was not completely cleaned and they immediately gave us a new room. Rooms are very spacious and quiet. Being off 'The Strip' is also very nice, no traffic and so much less tourism. Pretty good choice of restaurants to eat at, very nice bowling alley, movie theater, arcade for the kids, a spa, nice pool (but a bit small) and a few shops. I think the only draw back if you are with kids is that the casino does allow smoking and to get to different areas, you've got to go through it.

I very much enjoyed my visit, as short as it was, here at the South Point. Staff was friendly, newly remodeled room was great and loved the buffet. Only wished I had won instead of lost...lol

This is a great hotel to go watch movies, go bowling, gamble or go dancing to the 80s music club they have. This is a little down the strip away from the busy congested area of the strip and it s closer to neighborhoods. It is also known to have rodeos and a lot of cowboys.

I loved their service & the rooms were very nice. The buffet was good. But the beds are NOT comfortable, with a family of 5 I had to reserve 2 rooms so we had to split up. I totally forgot about all of the smoking in the casino & that was awful. The do have great customer service, great restaurants, and lots to do as a family without having to leave the hotel!

This Is A FANTASTIC DESTINATION Where Folks Are Actually Winning In Their Casino And Having A Great Time. Actual Bustling Table Games And Pits But Fun Players Not Flashy Tourists. To get the best 24 hour dining for the most affordable price you have got to try the cafe at this casino. There's seafood buffet on the weekend is phenomenal. I have had occasion to be in one of the two bedroom Corner Suites and I was impressed by the size of the room and the windows that had excellent views in every direction.

Great place to stop on your way to Cali. It's the last casino on the way out in the southside, I'd like to stop here for Shake and Stake burgers, the Hot Dog stand and a beer, personally I've haven't stayed in the hotel but it looks really nice. Stop eat, play a couple of machines, some tables if you're in the mood, it's definitely worth the stop.

Great place to go to place bets. Hotel rooms are very nice. Always great there....no complaints here. They do not make u get up and leave if you are sitting at a slot machine, and you are not playing, like most casinos do. Also have free parking. Cute arcade and bowling for kids next to the theatre. Free comedy show every friday at 1230am...so Saturday morning....its called, Dirty at 30, so they use a lot of adult jokes. Great for locals and tourists.

Plenty to do here and it was the highest rated, most reasonably priced room I could find, even WITH the resort fee. It's a necessary evil. Just do the math, decide where you're going to stay, and don't fault the hotel for the add-on fee when every hotel booking site I've been to clearly states you'll be paying this fee at the hotel! If you're looking for a clean spacious room with easy access to enough activity and food options to keep you busy during your stay, consider this place. It fit the bill for what I needed for this trip.

I love this casino. It has everything you need without the chaos of being on the strip. Great choices of restaurants and the staff is super friendly. Rooms are clean and comfortable and check in / check out is quick and easy. My 1 and only beef is that they dont allow cigar smoking in the sports book bar. They do however allow cigarettes.

South Point is our favorite hotel in Las Vegas. The rooms are reasonably priced and it is family friendly. I love spending a day at the spa and pool. The location is close enough to the strip and the outlet mall and with their shuttle its possible to get by without a car. Great poker room and sports book area.
