What a wonderful experience. Huge, clean and luxurious rooms, wonderful, friendly staff and a lot of things to do right on sight. Our daughters ages 6 and 15 loved the grand size of the room. When we walked into our room the first thing or of my husband's mouth was, "Wow, this is our new hotel for every trip to Las Vegas. Excellent choice of restaurants and activities. We ate at Steak and Shake then went to a movie in there theater. Everything seems so much cleaner than anything in the strip. We will definitely be back.

Always fun, staff are very friendly, and a great place for free entertainment... world class comedy show 'The Dirty at 12:30' each Friday and great rodeo events at the equistrian center are a must visit.

We have time share right next door at Grandview resort. So we hi to South Pointe everyday we were there. We loved the Coronaldo Cafe, and ate there several times. BUT THE GARDEN BUFFET WAS AWFUL. We brought friends there for dinner and we were sooo embarrassed. Food was old, hard, just terrible. AND jan 3rd, stopped at reward center around 12 noon. This woman was so mean and nasty to us. Short small woman with dark brown hair, not very attractive either, although that doesnt matter. I didnt see her name tag. SHE SHOULD NOT BE WO RT KING IN A CUSTOMER SERVICE AREA !!!

Great service. However I cannot believe the lack of respect smokers are conveying by flicking their ashes all over the carpets. The lack of respect shown for this establishment and it's employees with each ash that hits the floor is truly appalling. All the employees that work daily to keep this establishment in prime condition my hat off to you all!

Great place to experience one-stop convenience hotel accommodations, on stage performances, rodeos, dining, sports competition, movie theater, shops & boutiques, spas and so much more. One really doesn't need to leave "THE POINT!"

Lots of cigarette smoke. Enough said.

Okay, okay, that wasn't enough said. This resort casino isn't a bad place to stop by and check out. The casino area is well-lit and there are quite a few restaurants along the sides of the casino that I would like to try sometime (didn't get the chance this time because we were here to see a movie).

Overall, South Point seems to offer what you'd expect of a resort casino and its further South on Las Vegas Blvd so there's not a lot of hustle and bustle like there is in the heart of the Strip.

The movie theater didn't have much choices during Christmas. Prime rib restaurant is a must eat, especially the steaks. They are soft, tender and juicy. Atmosphere is nice, not noisy. There is a bar right outside if you need to wait to be called.

The hospitality here was outstanding! From the line to the buffet, to the cash register, and to the buffet counter. The customer service here was very friendly, giving complimentary water bottles to those waiting to pay for the buffet, thanking every Veteran for their service, and showing patience for those who may have difficulty making a chose. I would come back again every year for Memorial/Veteran's Day.

Event though we booked a room with view it didn't really have any view. It was just on 10th floor from where you could see the parking structure. Casino looked decent but we didn't really spend much time there.

Not my first South Point experience and very definitely will not be my last it is my choice place to stay whenever I am in Las Vegas. The rooms are incredible and definitely offer the best value for money that I'm aware of. There is nothing it seems that you cannot do that between the bowling alley the club the restaurants the casino it has everything you need gift shop barber shop Spa the list goes on.

while not on the Strip itself shuttle services are offered routinely between the south point and the strip which is a great way to get backwards and forwards especially if you intend to party. One can also get to the airport quickly and easily from this location Far easier than from the strip itself.

For those with RVs or trailers there is parking adjacent to the casino parking lot which is free to their customers. It can also accommodate tractor trailer units.

Definitely worth 5 Stars definitely a stay.

When I walk by very expensive clubs with high covers ($150!?) and long lines of expensively dressed young people, it's obviously not catering to people like me. But I came to South Point in a big group of (okay, middle aged) parent-types and for five bucks you can't beat it. The 80s cover band was a little contrived but perfect for the occasion - and way more engaging than some pretentious DJ convinced a turntable is a musical instrument. Good fun and no hassles.

Bad customer service the front desk staff are rude with the guest the sink in the bathroom had to be unstopped. They had roaches in the room and outside at the pool and it had too much cigarette smoke in the casino. Very pricey and not that good. When we entered the rooms the beds looked half made up like someone had been sitting on them. I did not like this place at all.

This place was really good for an overnight stay for the price it was available at. The casino is pretty good. The parking garage is convenient to use. The rooms too are very good. Did not get a chance to use any other services here but they are available. The only consequence is it a little far from the strip. However it is compensated by the lower prices they offer for stay.

If only I can win in bingo many locals from hawaii come there, always busy, love the bowling tournaments, and yes the movies which are cheap. can't wait to go back for my vacation and play again.

We like SouthPoint and make it a definite place to stop in when we are in Las Vegas. We visit Vegas 6-8 times a year, and we used to stay exclusively at SouthPoint. We stopped when they initiated the "resort fee".

Our first stop at the hotel is the men's barber shop for the world's best shave and facial from John Taddio. Then it's off to Steak and Shake for a meal. And every once in a while we will take in a movie too.

The casino is large and bright. We no longer gamble there due to the resort fee problem. Amenities include 11 restaurants, lots of entertainment choices, bowling, movies, a spa, men's and ladies hair, and a wonderful shoeshine available.

There is currently no charge for parking. Many of the strip hotels offer great room rates and then bury you with resort fees and parking. We stay at places that don't have such fees.

If you don't mind fees, SouthPoint is a good bet.
