Fun place to hang out. Their machines are pretty cool too! Delicious food for sure. Looks beautiful inside and out.
Fun place to hang out. Their machines are pretty cool too! Delicious food for sure. Looks beautiful inside and out.
Great room rates, a very special place for locals and tourists alike.
Very clean and comfortable place to sleep after a night out on the town in Vegas! LOL
We had a great time. This is really a locals spot, and they have lots of activities going on. We watch some great horse show action, saw some fun bowling tournament play going on as well as a poker tournament going on.
The have 11 restaurants so there is a lot to choose from. Movies, bowling, arcade games and pool for the kids. Have fun
My favorite place in the end if the strip without all the Vegas craziness.
Great place to stay and play. INFR was an awesome event
South point casion has a lot of different activities to offer I enjoyed my time while there. Had fun gambling and enjoying the food
The newly renovated rooms are spacious, clean, and plenty of water pressure/heat even on the 20th floor. They give you a coupon book when you check in which are handy. Facilities are nice and staff is friendly. Only complaint is the ventilation in the casino isn't as good as some other casinos so it is very smokey in the lobby, casino and restaurants. Just hold your breath and run for the elevators.
The cafe has great f9 at great prices my waiter was Ray
One of the most amazing places to stay in Vegas has multiple restaurants from burgers to Mexican to the best steaks great coffee at settles best or desserts at del Mar deli and lots of activities for your kids movies bowling arcade movies and has the best spas you can even get your shoes shined and have had them shined by father and son multiple time I actually bring extra pairs of boots just to be shined and polished the best staff I have ever experienced It has been the only hotel I have stayed in Vegas for over 10 years and would never pay to stay anywhere else in las Vegas young or old this place has it all for you rooms always as expected
The Garden Buffet at Southpoint is always good. And I love the member discount!
my first time there, rooms were pretty big, hotel housekeepers were friendly. the parking lot on the other hand, it stunk like weed everyday in the parking lot, no matter what time it was. they had a restaurant that served breakfast lunch and etc, service was pretty bad. from the server to the food, i would suggest to spend your money elsewhere. i would come again for the stay, but nothing else.
All the staff are very nice and friendly you fell like home that's why we love to stay there.
My wife and I had a great dinner at Primary Prime Rib and the service and the dinners were excellent!!
Huge place. Plenty of slot machines and table games. Convenient parking, great variety of restaurants.
We don't win all the times we go but more often then other casinos and the resterants have always been good
This place is a good place to stay if you want a good price and lots to do. They have a little bit of everything.
I love the service of South Point Casino in Vegas Nevada
Nice hotel and casino with a lot of amenities. From the horse lover to the family bowling game and poker in between. Daily live games and tournaments.
Very good restaurants! Love the bowling alley and movie theater as well!
Nice place to stay I plan on revisiting on my next bowling tournament in Vegas
Large, big movie theater. It used to be way south. Now it's just part of Vegas. Not the strip yet, but thing are picking up.
Always fun and they have can amazing comedy shows on Friday's called the dirty at 1230
Not safe. Very low security. My room got robbed while I was sleeping in it. Seemed like an inside job since they were able to get in via key card. They also left the door propped open with a towel that was not from our room. Thank goodness we are all ok.
Neat place, Great Food and Friendly people.
Prime Rib was Awesome.
Good odds. Nice and roomy casino. Good restaurants to eat.
Absolutely gorgeous inside! Too bad they don't offer promotional offers... I would've stayed longer. When asked if we were staying, they spoke in a different language with mad looks on they face! Then told us no
Not the nicest casino in vegas but still a fun place to go to. They have good shows, a movie theater, bowling alley, several different types of restaurants, a fun casino and decent rooms for good prices. Drinks are also cheap at the best in the casino. Pretty fun place overall.
Great place to go on vacation, they have everything
Such an awesome casino! It's diverse atmosphere provides plenty of fun times for all age groups! The bowling center, movie theater, and game center are just some of the fun activities available. Great food spots and multiple fantastic gaming areas!
Love the $4-5 movie theater! The $1.25 hot dog soaked in beer. The deli has great desserts & breakfast sandwich. Still can't find the Mexican place. SP is huge!
Very nice Casino. Does smell of horses though depending upon the events that are going. Great bowling center if you like the bull. Food selections are good but minimal. Lots of gaming though. They have a lot of video poker and Keno machines.
Staff were friendly
Hotel is old needs renovations
Far from the strip street
I wasn't even here but Google maps wants a statement so I can get off my pop-up screen
Went to the restaurant to take advantage of their "Graveyard" menu, which serves breakfast plates at cheaper price. Unfortunately, that particular menu is only available for those who are 21 and over. Not sure what the reason is, but can someone enlighten me? I didn't think there were any alcohol in those breakfast meat. Our waiter wasn't too friendly about it with a couple of young adults with me. My well-done steak was rock solid and mostly burnt.
@SOUTHPOINTlasvegas Ok, i was a little disappointed with my stay here....the rooms were decent....but the tubs are small.....and it would have been nice for them to put a little bag in the room of masks, handsanitizer and stylus, but there was none...had to get it at certain spots only, no temp checks upon check in....but the worst part was an alarm going off at 530ish am until 7am....and calling the front desk twice to be told there is an incident in an empty room....that is all, no we are sorry....lets extended your stay a few hrs so you can sleep!!! And then wake up the next morning to read in the news it was a freakin fire on empty third floor....SERIOUSLY!!! Southpoint, i hope you deal better with this in the future.....
Dropped my son off to go movie with friend they played at the arcade had alot of fun but said games were super expensive they enjoyed the movies and pizza while there
Exceptional suite, food at Baja Miguels was really great, and the hotel staff was exceptional.
Nice place. Beds are not great but I dont think your expected to spend much time in them. Kinda far from downtown and the strip, but a nice place overall.
The Bingo is different than what I was use to playing at the other casino I enjoyed playing there will be going back
Over the Southpoint Casino! It has everything & great service as well!
South point rooms feels comfortable. And the hotel it self feels nice as well. Bingo is Huge and its fun for people who doesn t really play that much. Not for everyone else who plays often coz its hard to win because its too many competition. Plus they are loaded as well!
The oyster bar is good and will definitely come back when i have visitors around.
Loved staying at South Point this past summer. The frozen drinks by the pool were amazing. I loved that the pool was never packed. There are so many fun things to do here and great places to eat. The rooms were very nice as well.
Love this hotel! It's off the strip and the rooms are big and nice! It has great restaurants!
Its mine an my wifes favorite casino. Late night specials on food and bowling. Plus most of times i win a little bit of cash on the slot machinces. Very nice an clean casino
Visited food Cafe & casino. Food excellent at Cafe on 1st floor. Nice spacious casino which didn't reek of smoke.
Had fun playing the slots, we took home soft shell crab sandwiches that were excellent
I love the South Point. The food is reasonable machines play well, and free parking, movies and bowling. Friendly Staff. I recommend the South Point to all my friends.
Very clean and employs very helpful. Rooms very price.
Great place to see shows the showroom is very intimate.
I stayed here for a week and it was exceptional on a business trip. I lost my white dress and I think the housekeeper took it since it blend in with the bedding. I didn't report but I miss that dress. The hotel was a top notch I would stay here again.
Awsome we had a great time. We also had dinner there.
Room was nothing extraordinary. Housekeeping was not exactly on the ball though. I think they only serviced my room once in the almost week I was there, but the real problem came when one of the children a family member brought along reached under the bed and started pulling out various liquor bottles and beer cans (some fill some empty), plus a bag with something wet-feeling wrapped up in a plastic bag which we just threw away without opening.
The Wi-Fi was just awful. I've never seen worse in the last ten years anywhere I've been. Spotty, slow, prone to making you sign in every five minutes.
Food options were varied, but underwhelming for the price. I was able to eat unforgettable meals at local restaurants for almost half as much as the mediocre-at-best fare offered here.
The movie theatre is the only reason I have this hotel a 3 star instead of a 2. It was hard to believe this theatre wasn't it's own free standing operation, and movies are just $5 on Tuesday so that was a total steal. My last day I didn't want to spend much and I was waiting to catch a shuttle, so I just spent the day at the theatre.
The hotel is easy to get to and simple enough to navigate once inside. Despite being and older casino, the rooms are well kept and maintained. The restaurant choices are varied and each restaurant has its own niche of food choice. The staff was overall very professional and pleasant to deal with, with only a couple minor instances to the contrary.
Chronologically, getting there was easy enough, and parking although busy was very quick. Went to eat at the Coronado Cafe. There were a few tables available. Sat right away. Food arrived at the proper time. Ate the Prime Rib special. It was good but nothing special. My cut had a bit too much fat, but everyone else was fine. For the price it was a very good deal. Would go again.
Not a five-star hotel but a good three and a half four-star hotel clean good restaurants slots are slightly tight
A better gambling casino then an overnight stay. Nothing wrong with the hotel. It's just my opinion, especially with so many other hotels available.
My daughter had a great experience until she and her friend were pickpocketed (both had cell phones stolen) at a local nightclub. They had to use the room phone to call parents, airlines and file a police report. They made a handful of calls each and were given a bill for over $350. When they told the deal clerk their phones were stolen and they had a police report he said so . No compassion! I have stayed there for many years and they have lost my respect and my business. I won t patronize their casino either . What jerks!
Has plenty of options for gambling, entertainment, restaurants, and isn't located on the strip. Getting in and out of the parking area isn't as bad as those places on the strip. If you're staying for longer than a few days be prepared to pay some money for their laundry services.
Great staff very helpful. Good atmosphere. Fun place.
I was surprised because I want a little bit I hope the luck will continue
Had a great breakfast in Coronado Cafe. South Point is big with a lot of activity options.
This place is awesome! Love the movie theater and the bowling alley. Very family friendly. No strong smoke smell as you walk through the casino. The dessert restaurant is a must! The lemon bars are to die for!
Great Casino for Play and Dine....great people, friendly and always ready to help
I really enjoy coming to eat a Coronado Cafe. The food is really delicious...reasonable price and great choices of various foods. The cafe is also open 24hrs a day which is a great place to come and enjoy early breakfast special at 2am or 4am.
I also enjoy the Garden buffet but like many buffet style restaurants in Vegas it is still closed due to Covid19 measures.
It's been my go-to place for many years now just because it's at the top of the strip and away from all the crowds at the Disneyland type of circus that Vegas has become. When I was a kid the Stardust was the place for us. And we walk over to Circus Circus which was great back then too.
Beautiful property casino takes care of you. So much to do. Food was great.
Newer hotel that is dated. Staff is nice, games are tight, good luck getting a drink while playing. 3 hours, 600 played, 1 drink. Stay away.
Fine, polite service. I felt very safe with everyone wearing masks and staff giving masks away.
The unit 808A in Sage building needs renovation. The toilet is leaking, the dust is everywhere including the furniture, walls, AC vents. The shower head is rusty, the walls in the shower are in black mold. In the kitchen the kettle is rusty, the coffee machine jug is broken. There was long black women's hair on the bed in the bedroom. I had to change this unit for a renovated one in the Honeysuckle building which is much better in every way.
Prices are great for Las Vegas free parking food was delicious at buffet
They are very consistent with the service at great prices. They always take care of their customers
Did not stay there but it is close to where I was lodging. Plenty of eateries there for lunch and dinner or just snacks. There also a 24 hr. Coffee shop. My favorite is the deli in front of the casino. Big bakery items.
Nice movie theaters and plenty of gambling venues.
The rooms was huge, clean, and laid out nice. I loved the floors & bathroom area. We ate at the Silverado Steakhouse, located in the hotel, and everything was DELICIOUS! We will be a repeat customer.
An excellent relaxation spot is somewhat hidden from his General populace is the spa area. Loved the massage and hot tub, the clean sauna, steam room, cascading pools and waterfall showers. Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, mouthwash, towels, and luxurious robes were all included as well as a private locker. Using a spot allows you to use it the entire day if you got a massage and that's a great bonus if you plan on staying a day there just to relax which I was. The slippers we're a bit ordinary. They either were made with too hard of a plastic. Those hurt my feet. Everything else was wonderful.
Excellent equestrian facility with numerous events. Rooms are a little overpriced. Numerous restaurants and large casino. Easy access from I-15.
Always a great place to stay. Very clean. Great staff.
The buffet is always amazing here. Not too crowded and staff is on point. They treat you very well over here.
I've never really stayed off the strip and this was one of the best places I've ever been to it didn't hurt that we won quite a bit of money here and there we also bowled Nationals there as well.. great place enjoyed it immensely will definitely go back.
My uncle work here , we come here all the time , everything is wonderful.
Really a nice place to stay. Pleasant staff. All very friendly. Very clean Hotel Casino. They keep this place spot less.
I never booked a room at the South point yet but I go there for they sports book and they cheap beverages they also have a good oyster bar in there reasonable price.
