Very friendly staff. Clean and super fun with tons to do from bowling to gambling. Overall awesome experience.
Always a pleasant time. nice casino .very friendly people
Colossal Hotel Resort had great things going on this past weekend. I was overwhelmed by it all. I commend your marketing directors who came up with an idea to give customer what they need under one roof. I love it, having just finished my degree in business at the age of 64 years truly allow for me to see things in a different perspective. Thanks for my fun stay and my Son totally enjoyed his stay as well. kudo's to your wonderful staff in housekeeping, front desk and cashiers. Ms Harland
Went to Norm Macdonald at the Showroom. The show was great as was the Showroom as a venue. Will see him there again.
Lovely hotel and casino. We started here for the weekend and we really enjoyed our stay. Room was clean and staff is v very friendly. We attended a time share presentation for an upgrade package even though we were definitely not interested we still got free gifts which was cool. The pool was great. The restaurants were good just a bit pricey but it's expected in Vegas. A great time overall
Way too loud, way too smokey, way too many people. Not a relaxing environment at all.
Very nice, popular casino and Sportsbook. The high ceilings have good HVAC systems for a near smoke free environment. The Sportsbook hosts the VSiN shows that include Brent Musburger.
Very clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. Food is exceptional
Nice hotel with plenty of amenities. Far from the strip so you need a car or Uber or bus. Not much outside in terms of attractions. It's in a residential neighborhood so you can find restaurants and grocery stores. I think the only steak and shake is here.
Best casino in Vegas love it there best food ever and your not going away hungry ever lots of machines to play on. And the rooms are really awesome and very big. loved everything here never have to leave everything is there wonderful and beautiful place
Great place! Superior rooms! Great service! Reasonably priced meals! Specially d Late Night Specials! 7oz N.Y. Steak , 2 eggs, hashbrowns, toast & jelly 4 $4.95!
We enjoyed the many rodeo and horse show events at Southpoint this fall 2019. What an amazing casino with great drink and dining specials compared to center strip casinos. The sports book is large and they provide the racing books with the horse statistics for betters to view for free unlike the other casinos. My boyfriend loves that about Southpoint and swears by their sports book. Great movie specials and a coupon book with other discounts if you are staying at the Grandview LV resort next door.
Lots to do here! We have stayed here for the last 4 years during Muscle cars at the Strip in the spring (we watch our friend Tracy Grooms race and show his Dodge dart) We always have a great time in the casino and love the food here! The rooms are nice too. This year we will be coming back again for a 2nd time in November for a few days. This time we can stay for two nights free, courtesy of South Point... Thanks South Point will be seeing you soon!
Good hotel with a ton of things to do. They have $5 minimum tables for blackjack, poker and roulette! Some great food too.
South Point is with out a doubt my favorite Casino in Vegas. The staff is very friendly and extremely helpful. They have a great selection of restaurants and the prices are reasonable. The casino itself is well kept and they definitely pay attention to the small details.
The entire building was way to cold for my entire family. We went to go to the movies, have dinner & go bowling but we bailed after dinner, cause the cold was too much. The theater was clean & had comfortable seats. Steak and shake had great service. They really should mount their booth tables to the walls, I'm surprised we didn't knock a drink over with how much the table kept moving.
Liked it. Friendly attitude. People where not rude at all. Even won some there.
I've been staying there since it opened. A breath of fresh air from the strip.
Everything was very good. Service for bowling was quick, the food at the restaurant was amazing, and the location is very easy to get to since it's close to the freeway.
Always have a great time bowling, and late night dinner is the way to go.
Plenty of options to eat and play. Very affordable options for everything. Movie theater, bowling, bingo... the only thing they're missing is a club but it's gear more for families so I can see it's not necessary.
Clean rooms and super friendly staff.
Always stop there at Steak & Shake when leaving Vegas.
Basic Las Vegas hotel with the usual amenities, but far south of all the action on the Strip. There are regular shuttles and other transportation options available for a fee to get to and from the more popular tourist areas. However, the hotel has all the basic needs met for, dining, entertainment, and relaxation. Room was clean and well cared for.
It's fantastic! The service has been very accommodating. Enjoying our stay.
Went to a Spazmatics show at the showroom in South Point. Awesome band playing 80s covers. The venue was we'll set up with tables and a decent sized dance floor. Would definitely go again.
I truly like this hotel not saying I have stayed in every hotel in Vegas but this has quite a few accommodations, such as 60 lane bowling alley. Movie theaters, good food, I ate at the Zenshin Asian restaurant which I though was just above average sushi, nothing to rave about and go out of my way to come back but if I stay here again I would go back.
I also at at the Freddy s stake and shake shack, well it s a steak burger and fries so yeah it s not bad either.
The rooms have laminate wood floors which I was very annoyed with but got used to very quickly upon noticing how much cleaner it made the rooms look. Sometimes carpet, especially hotel carpet can be disgusting, oh and they provided a pair of slippers in the closet for you so you don t have to walk around in socks the whole time.
The only down side I don t like to this hotel which is just a personal issue that ever casino has is having to walk through the casino floor and therefore having to deal with the nicotine smokers in there. I really like how inexpensive it is and how big the parking lot is and how many security guards I see driving through the parking lot to check on things.
The work our room is great, very big selection of machines to lift with as well as running or biking on. I haven t taken advantage of the spa area that s right next to the gym yet just because I never think about it. I know this is long sorry for typing so much but so could keep going on and on about this hotel so I will leave it to this and just say it s a great place to stay.
Great Place, wonderful selection of restaurants! A great variety of slot machines & all sorts of gambling table's. Very convenient next to our resort, The Grand View at Las Vegas
Nice location away from the strip. Convenient parking (free) and close to freeways. Decent sized rooms, good room service. Overall a great value if you've got to stay in Vegas and don't mind being a few minutes from the strip.
I like staying at south point, we stay there every October for the land n sea show. Friendly staff, good food. I'm so glad to see they are renovating now! Big rooms & quite. They also have fridges in rooms which is nice....
Excellent rooms. Friendly/helpful service. Variety of foods. Great Casino & Bingo
The food at the steakhouse was great!
The machines are absolutely horrible to us!
The whole place smells like a cigarette, ventilation is awful.. the options available of things to dodo he are VERY limited. I would not recommend this place at all. You're going to have to go down to the strip to have a good time anyways, you might as well just stay on the strip..
Went to Zenshin a while ago, sushi was pretty tasty! I think we got a spicy roll, and a couple other ones that were fried - can't remember their names. It was during happy hour too~
Frontier Airlines accommodated me in this casino overnight to compensate for a flight delay. This hotel is so far off the strip that I would not have chosen it on a regular visit to Vegas. The hotel and casino were clean and and what you would find consistent with a 3.5 star hotel. If you are getting a deal and don't mind being off the strip, it could be a good choice.
We stopped in to play a few rounds of video poker on our way out of Las Vegas. I really like this casino, it is very clean and there is a lot of video poker with pretty decent pay tables. There are a lot of dining choices if you are looking for somewhere to eat. I got a slice of pizza at the deli near the sports book. The pizza was delicious! I got my husband a hot dog from the little hot dog stand near the sports book. Only a $1.25 and he really enjoyed it. This casino also has a large movie theater and a bowling alley. I am hoping to come back and stay a couple of nights.
Decent Poker room. 2 stars lost due to their involvement with the Poker League of Nations co-founder
Better than the casino I stayed at a month ago, but SMOKEY.
Clean, quiet rooms, easy to stop in for just one night. The pool area is beautiful.
Nice place. Rooms are dated and cell phone service was erratic. Nice pool and jacuzzi . Friendly staff. Restaurants were good. The Silverado Steak House was excellent. Great food and service, but not a place to eat if you're watching your pennies.
This is for a certain kind of person. Certainly not me. We went during the rodeo there was lit of cowboys - which was not an issue. It's just the ambiance and the types of people there look dodgey /sketchy. I think there are way too may casinos in vegas there is no reason for to ever be going back here.
South Point is a great deal if you are willing to be "off strip" in Vegas. The room was nice... good bed, clean, large bathroom, but the shower head was terrible. The "fun book" included with your resort fee almost pays for the fee if you use it. It has deals for free drinks and food discounts. The pool was really great, and it had an adults-only jacuzzi area.
South Point Hotel Casino & Spa are incredible. The resturaunts are top notch. And there is a movie theater on property. Does it get better than that?
Very smoky
Too many old machines
This place is grate not on the main strip but its big and very nice not overly crowded
The South point is a clean hotel / casino that's great to get in and out of. The sports book is open 24 7 which is nice, but besides that nothing sets it apart. Luckily they have a lot of events to keep it full
Nice casino space. Friendly staff. Big bowling alley
Good restaurants very nice spa homey atmosphere. Love staying there!
Great casino! Love the sports book and horse betting areas. There's a wide variety of slot machines. Terrific restaurants to choose from! All around my favorite casino in Vegas!
Pretty decent place to stay , cowboy land. Excellent Chinese food in the casino. Quite expensive. The beds were mediocre did not like the pillows. Screaming resident in the hallway at 2:30 a.m. woke everyone up.
Our favorite place in Vegas. You never have to go anywhere else. Free parking, comfortable rooms, great restaurants for all 3 meals, the best sports book, great gaming. It's amazing!!
went with a group to get buffet at the south point, was the first time there for me. its a very nice casino, it was very clean and parking was not bad even though it was the start of a busy weekend for them. the food was good and the staff was nice. it was a nice visit to this buffet.
Wonderful slots, movie theater, bowling alley, great food, amazing sports betting, live music, and table games! The crab legs at the Oyster bar are AMAZING!!! I have not stayed in the rooms but just showing up for a good time has been good enough! You HAVE to get a hot dog if you go!
One of the most laid-back (but still professional) poker rooms in Vegas.
Not as crowded as strip. Spread out flour plan so nice atmosphere. Heavy smoker presence, you will smell like a cigarette afterwards.
Favorite chill casino, few.miles south of the strip. We live the quiet atmosphere, and equestrian events. Pool, theater, bowling alley, family fun if you don't want to deal with the party side of Vegas...can always do a quick uber to the strip for crazy tome.
South of the strip. Low table minimums. Good enough food. Reasonably priced rooms. Ice machines and vending machines near elevators.
One of the best meals I have ever had. Salad was excellent prime Rib was a11 on a scale of 1 to 10
The Garden Buffet is great place to eat during these challenging times. The friendly staff serves from a good selection of favorites. Two thumbs up for the pizza. Go for the gelato.
One of the best family friendly casinos in Las Vegas. Clean. Large bowling alley, movie theater, food court, and other things to keep the kiddos active. Standard casino for adults. As a local, one of our favs.
The bathroom was very clean and usable. Additionally, from prior experiences steak and shake has great lunch specials
Great place for the country family in the big city. Watch barrel racing one minute, bowl the next and hit the casino after. Several great restaurants on site. Would visit again. Wish the pool was a lil bigger with a little more shaded areas.
Hotel isn't too bad, not really upscale but pretty homey. Decent restaurants and casino downstairs. Can't complain about the service. Rooms were pretty good last time we stayed here.
Was cool. Enjoyed my time despite this social distancing. Ate at the Italian restaurant. Was the bomb. Much love @XTRNL619
Great service, very friendly *some staff*, the environment is fun. Very well worth staying there. Prices of rooms were good. We stay there every year and we are treated great! Thanks!
I wish separate with hotel and casino
Too many smokers
Room was beautiful
We went to the Coronado Cafe for dinner. Our group of 10 were seated fairly quickly so that was a plus. The price was ok and the serving size was good. Each meal was more than enough to fill our stomachs. However, the quality of the food could've been better. A burger we ordered medium was just barely rare and the sweet and sour chicken was nothing to be proud of. The chicken was hard and crunchy and the sauce wasn't all that great either. Not only that, but the rice wasn't very sticky and I prefer sticky rice. The wait staff was very friendly and were refilling our drinks whenever they were empty, or close to it. Though the food want necessarily bad, I'd definitely try a different restaurant the next time I'm out there.
This place is hudge. Very crowded due 2 the rodeo finals. Ride em cowboys & cowgirls. Every restaurant was busy & long lines. The machines were ok & paying of course not the ones I was playing. LOL. I'll b back 2 get my money!!!
A lot to do here movies.. casino.. food.. arcade.. my only suggestion is they never have room for bowling we were here for 7 days and couldnt manage to get into bowling
Worst Vegas hotel that I ve ever stayed at, rooms are big but beds and TVs are small. Worst service I ve ever experienced.
I've stayed only once but do visit each year for the sports book and March Madness set up. My timeshare is across the street. Really appreciate the partnership with Grandview for the lounge. Good oyster bar at the casino level. Del Mar grill is really good for quick breakfast or lunch. Plenty of close parking without having to valet park.
South Point is a great place to stay and eat! They have everything that you might want! It is also clean! The rooms are very standard but great at price! You get what you get! I do however lile to state that customer service is a bit lower than expected. Other than that, a great place!
Was at the South Point attending the Mecum auction. It was a good time.
Feels like circus circus off the strip. The only reason why we were here was because this was the closest movie theater to our hotel. Big crowds, dingy, smokey and run down. They did have amenities for kids, but I would not bring my children here.
The casino is actually fairly low end, not the kind of place you would go if you wanted a classy Vegas experience. Michaels, the high end restaurant at this location is completely out of character for this hotel. The lowest priced meal that I saw was $65 and it continued to the stratosphere from there. Food was great and service was excellent but high priced. And as you would expect it wasn't the typical casino clientele that was dining there, it was the high end of high end.
