I enjoyed my time at South Point. The parking was easily accessible. The rooms were large enough for my party and the beds we're soft. There was so many options for all ages that it really made the trip enjoyable.

I really enjoyed my stay at Southpoint the rooms are clean. The beds are comfortable and the casino is great. Overall the casino just has a good vibe to it. I had a great time playing Blackjack but had no luck on any of the slots whatsoever... the next time I'm in Vegas I would be glad to stay here again the traffic's not bad there's plenty of places to eat in the casino and room service is amazing or at least the pizza is. Also it only takes 10 minutes to get to the strip since the casino is located right off of I-15
Outstanding staff!! Very clean and affordable compared to other Hotel and Casino combinations. Family oriented and great dining facilities. Very pleased will definitely come back, this will be our choice to stay!.
Great casino off the strip. A lot cheaper to drink here than on the actual strip. The bowling lanes are pretty good, but I bowl league and the approaches were a bit off. But for just some casual fun, definitely good lanes.
Great place to have a bowling tournament. 60 lanes divided by bleachers. There's still a lot of construction for their pro shop, but not to worry there's another outside the tournament lanes by the league and open play lanes. Next to that is an AMC theater which was pretty nice. Now if you're a buffet kinda person go elsewhere. The one here isn't one to rave about. But in Vegas... there's so much to choose. Games are typical with friendly dealers.
I did not stay in the hotel so I do not know how the rooms are, I do know that the premium rooms have a mini fridge and a Keurig. There is a movie theater, bowling alley, many eating establishments (I will not call them all restaurants) the Garden Buffett has a great breakfast. Many shows and a wide variety of gaming.
Good amount of table games and slots. Food quality is fair. No promo gifts for any new members. A bit of disappointment in comparison to other casinos nearby.
my husband and I stayed for his birthday...and we absolutely loved the hotel/casino and all it offered...it's a great place to bring the entire family..well except maybe the dog....it's clean. it's very pretty..you don't even need see the Vegas Strip to have fun this hotel to go have fun
On rare visits to south point do I come out ahead. Usually I just consider myself lucky if I get enough play to last me a while. Drinks are pretty rare unless I sit near $1 section. The interior is very bright almost in a sterile kind of way. But I know several people who hit good here and love the atmosphere so it cant be all bad, it just doesn't do it for me personally. If it wasn't for the rodeos bringing the Jean's clad polite country men that you see in abundance here frequently it would be a 3 star review.
It's 10min from the airport. There is always helpful employees and finding my room was no problem. I don't like the cigarette smell everywhere but I guess that goes with casinos in general. The room is always clean and I have always gotten a late check-out when I needed it.
Great casino, great location, but every week my friends and I watch movies at the Orleans simply because they have luxury seating theaters. We would give all the business to South Point if they upgraded their theater seats. Please upgrade your theater!
Great casino Great country food Greag room service Only problem is that the description of rooms doesnt tell you what it doesn't include If you're comimg to visit get a room thats high up because if you dont It won't have microwaves, refrigerators, kitchens,
Atmosphere is filled with rich old people and some visitors to las vegas
Im not a lv type guy so I don't like casinos but if you do it really is a great place and its huge!
Place was a good choice. People who worked there were great. Room was large. They made sure everyone wore a mask during this time of social distance . Dealers were friendly also. Pricing was good also
Poor customer service. I called the reservation line and asked if early check in was available, and the rep said yes come in now and you can check in this was about noon. When we got to the front desk we were told rooms not ready come back after 3. We noticed a sign in the lobby that stated the pool was closing 4 hours early for a private event. I don't know about you but I don't use in room wifi, or the exercise room or the other stuff that they include in the resort fee now the only thing I would use "the pool" I can't. There was no mention of closer on the website. This was very frustrating and the desk clerk said "you can go across the street to the other resort and use their pool, will that work for you? ". I went to Kate's Korner and ordered a smoothie but after paying I noticed the place had a lot of flies in the ice cream case that ALL doors were open and the doors were in the case. I canceled my order and asked for a refund, the woman working there said it would be 5 to 10 minutes for the manager to show up and give my a refund and when he did he said it would be back in my account in 3 to 5 days and if it's not I should call them. My room key stopped working in the a.m. and when I went to the front desk I was asked for i.d. but the check in person didn't add my name to the agreement, I want able to show my i.d. they would fix the key. They need my wife's i.d. that was in the room. They wanted us to go to the 23rd floor and get it and go back to the desk. I told them that was ridiculous so their option was to send a security guard to the room with us, embarrassing. Then the key they gave ther guard didn't work... F this place. 4 months and still no refund.
I simply love this place, it's family-friendly no smoking . Me and my kids we spend hours over here it was so much fun. On my next visit to Vegas I will definitely going to stop by again it's a great experience I would highly recommended.
I love the south point it has amazing suites for a very reasonable price. The buffet is great and the restaurants are awesome. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
South Point is the ideal casino resort for its location. There's ample variety of entertainment and food, with a gaming rewards program loyal to locals. Customer service spirits could be higher among those I interacted with, but of course everyone has bad days.
Very impressed with this casino the food is excellent the service is wonderful in the rooms are luxury Southpoint I think you have spoiled me number one destination for now on
South Point is a great spot, as long as you have transportation. It is about 5 or 6 miles from the action on the strip, so inconvenient if you are taking taxis. Otherwise you get far more than your money's worth. Great and clean rooms, entertainment, and a nice big casino with low minimums on tables.
So many things to do, if you stay up until midnight you can do some real cheap bowling in there 64 lane bowling alley. After 11PM you can get some great food at really good prices at the Coronado Cafe.
Whenever I visit Las Vegas I will always visit South Point whether I am staying there or not. Very friendly and family oriented hotel. You don't have to leave the hotel. Beautiful.
Highly recommend this hotel casino, solid 4 star joint....huge poker room ..24/ 7 sportsbook 2nd to none, horse players have their own room around the corner. Huge bowling alley, 16 movie theaters, arcade, 11 restaurants most are outstanding . Great selection of slots video poker and plenty of table games.....largest hotel / casino in the state of Nevada that is not on the strip, have stayed here often last couple of years. And they take care of their good customers comp wise !!!
Very busy for not being on the Strip. Nice pool and casino. The service was alright. I asked what my room number was and I was told to look at my key card slip. Psht. $100 extra as a security fee you'll get upon check-out or a week later.
This is the 3rd time we have been here for a cheer competition. Location is close and convenient for locals. Very convenient for those out of town too. Movie theaters and large convention rooms. We will be back for the rodeo!
Bummed I came to this place to work on a client as my partner and I provide a 4 hand massage, anyway we brought my new Samsung tablet up with us to play music but ended up not using it. We did the massage and my pad I had left inside my bag for the table but it slipped out of the bag when we set the bag to the side. During the massage and we did not realize it. Anyway when I did realize it was gone it was the next morning after the client left the hotel. Anyway checked with the client and the security as well as the house keeping and nothing has ever been turned in. But other than that the hotel rooms are very nice and they have a cafeteria that has a great special for very cheap.
Ate at the Coronado cafe. Mostly quick service, though we ordered our drinks and then had three more people ask us about taking our drink order. Found out that the first person who took the order had gone on break and left the drinks. Other than that, the food was good. The waiter was attentive. Will eat here again. Open atmosphere seating with view of the casino floor with tables and booths available.
We really enjoy coming to this casino. We seem to lose a little bit, but that's not the casinos falt. LOL. They have a great atmosphere and it's never too crowded. The weekends can get a little busy if there's a football game or something like that going on but other than those types of occasions there's always free machines available. The waiters and waitresses are always super friendly and really prompt. My favorite game is Blackjack. Too bad I'm not blackjacks favor friend
Nice enough hotel, decor a bit dated (1990s meets dated 1970 western theme). Also smoking allowed outside of casino and its noticeable in the nonsmoking rooms. Beds and bedding were really comfy though.
