Service is attentive and architectural detail very nice. Beach area is not extensive. Not a big area around the pool so a handful of people make it seem pretty crowded - great if you're playing but not if you're sunbathing. Dining area is gorgeous. Sushi is mediocre - Hiro dreaming of sushi would probably say the rice is all wrong. Strongly recommend the conch chowder.

My wife had booked a room for March through Expedia. It was at a non-refundable rate. Due to the pandemic, the hotel was closed for the days of our reservation and it would be a health risk to travel during that time. We contacted Expedia and they reported that it is up to the hotel if they are going to refund us or not. Of note, Expedia created the Global Cancelation Waiver Program - a mechanism that will see every property in its portfolio automatically enrolled so that a guest's cancellation and refund can be issued if they wish to cancel a booking. Unfortunately, it appears that the Shore club decided not to participate in this program. The hotel offered us the ability to use the reservation up to a year. I see 2 problems here. First and foremost, the cancellation was not due to a personal issue. It was due to unforeseen global circumstances. In addition, the hotel itself was closed or should be closed during the pandemic. Thus, the non-refundable policy should be waived. Secondly, the future of safe traveling is unknown, so we most likely will not be able to use our credit until March 2021. I was expecting a more professional and humane approach to our matter during these difficult times and I was deeply disappointed.

We had the most wonderful experience at this hotel. We travel a lot and this is one of the best hotels in the world! The rooms are amazing, the beach is beautiful and the food is great as well. i would definitely come back.
Staff are very friendly but in a relaxed way. Service was overall great. Location is a bit more isolated and relaxed than the other side of the island. Nice bars and pools. Food was pretty good. Beach was great. Would definitely recommend. Probably closer to 4.5 stars comparing it to other high end resorts around the world but no complaints. If I come back to Turks would book again for sure.

Probably one of the best hotels in the whole Caribbean. Service is 10/10 , food is 10/10 price is fair - for the amount of awesome that you get. Breakfast is beyond epic. Suites are incredible, beach Long Bay is as gorgeous as Grace Bay with less people. They also have shuttle that takes you to Palms - epic. Rope bar is 10/10. Only negative, but for us this is POSITIVE is that sometime you feel little isolated, not a whole lot of people around, once again for us this is huge plus. Service on the beach is epic. Simply 10/10 place! Outdoor pools are 10/10 but we did spend all of our time on the epic Long Bay! THANKS
If you have the funds and enjoy luxury, then look no further. It s gorgeous and obviously well-designed and laid out. But I personally prefer Grace Bay Beach! Long Bay Beach is super windy and the beach is narrow. Perfect for kite surfing, though. Staff is lovely and the hotel is beautiful. Their pool area is also gorgeous and fun with a stunning chandelier and walk-on island and bar.
Superb resort! The staff are genuinely friendly and so helpful. You get your own personal assistant you can communicate with to help you each day with any needs. The resort is extremely clean down to even raking the beach early in the morning removing any debris that washes ashore overnight from the ocean.
It's location on the island is also perfect as it makes for a more peaceful place to stay to unwind and relax. Even though it's family friendly there's several different areas for adults only to escape so it's great for everyone. This part of the island is breezier so there's a lot of kite boarding activities if you'd like nearby. I don't think we saw any insects because of the breeze so no mosquitoes here!!
We totally recommend this place and would definitely come back.

Perfection. Hotel is stunningly elegant and immaculately clean. Beautiful views and surroundings. Staff are very friendly and more than willing to help, especially Brian and Latoya. Food is great, especially breakfast, but would appreciate more vegeterian options. Rooms are wonderful. Housekeeping puts in so much effort to keep our room spotless. And love the little touches like leaving chocolate by the bed. Overall, our stay was perfect. Thank you Shore Club.
Very beautiful resort, nice ambiance, great food and the service there is awesome. Especially with one particular sever, Malindy. She made sure that our needs were met (even if it was not on the menu), always severed with a smile and made us felt like we at home.

Beyond wonderful! Our family had the very best time, nothing at all to complain about! Food was great the staff was wonderful the grounds was breath taking.
This was our 4th time in Turks and Caicos and the Shore Club was the third resort we stayed at (we stayed twice at the Palms and once at the Somerset). First, Turks is a beautiful place with great people. Back to the resort. The Shore Club was the most beautiful place we stayed at, with excellent service, beautiful grounds, excellent pools and delicious food. The staff was accommodating, friendly and attentive. The place is good for families and couples with as much or as little to do as you want. We plan on returning soon. The only negatives: we were accidentally checked out a day earlier than we should have been but this was easily fixed. Second and most importantly, the beach on the leeward side is a far cry from the other side of the island. The beach is narrow, rockier and has a lot of seaweed. Consequently, water is not as clear, but is warm and we enjoyed swimming in it despite it's murkiness.

This was our first time to Turks and Caicos. While I would love to come back to the island, I will NEVER stay at this hotel again. The property itself is gorgeous and the rooms are spacious and new, but that s where the positive notes end. The beach is a narrow strip of seaweed-covered mess. When high tide comes, you can barely walk on a teeny tiny strip of sand. Plus, the service is absolutely horrendous. I have never been treated so poorly at a resort in my life. Our first night here we went to Sui Ren (the only fine dining restaurant at the hotel) and our server was a nightmare. We were one of two tables there and it was an hour before closing. We were rushed to order and when 10pm rolled around, instead of bringing us our check, the server started to close the restaurant! We waited another 15 minutes of him pulling off table clothes and removing tableware before we asked for our check. The manager, Rachel, was a huge help and very sweet and checked on us throughout our stay after our first night. I can count on one hand the people who actually cared about their job and the guests (the shuttle driver Ben, the front desk manager Tikeera, our one server Youseline, Rachel the dining manager, and our one housekeeper). They were the only people who understood the necessity in providing stellar customer service. We went off property for dinner every night, but ate at the free breakfast buffet each day. If we had our server Youseline, it was great. If not, getting coffee or water was like pulling teeth. And the ATTITUDE that some of these servers have is BS!! Their 15% tip is already built into the bill, but wouldn t you want to run up a larger tab to increase that tip or get extra? Apparently not. Our conceirge butler was a pain in the butt, impossible to get ahold of, and decided to scold us at the pool when we took the free shuttle to a different hotel instead of paying for the taxi. Seriously?? FREE shuttle service that goes to the same sister hotel every 30 minutes or a $30 taxi to that same property... obviously we are going to take the shuttle, policy be damned.The service at The Palms hotel and The Gavensport hotel is 100% better and we ate at Parallel 23 twice during our stay. There s no need to return to The Shore Club, even with the great rooms. Obviously customer service is not a priority with them here.
The Strengths:
Shore Club is GORGEOUS, with a white sand, pristine beach, nestled on the quiet side of the island. The beach is very relaxed, not busy and feels very exclusive and private. You can walk out into the ocean only to find yourself hip deep in water... its great for water activities.
The property is stunning, its new and sparkly (we stayed Feb 2020). The rooms are spacious - we had partial ocean view and it was more than satisfactory, given we were outside all the bad.
The Weakness:

The issue is - when you pay the kind of prices they command, you expect a level of service and attention. When you head to the beach, you want someone to set you up, towels and all without searching for assistance for 15 minutes. when you want a drink from the bar, and they say it opens at 11, and its 11:30 and you're wondering why there's no bartender...you dont wanna go looking for one.
The service was pretty terrible, with the exclusion of a few gems.
We addressed our concerns with the GM during check-out and while he apologized and credited us with something, it really doesn't make up for the lack of experience we encountered. Rather - no experience.
On the leeward hyway... Drive untill you find the road for the shore club. Drive to the end and make a right. There is a small.. small drive way on the left side before the entrance to the shore club.. if you pass those gates turn around. Go down the gravel driveway and make a slight left... There might be construction going on but don't worry. This is the public entrance to Long Bay beach. Lots of kiteboarding... Lots of conch shells around.

We drove up to this part of the island on mopeds and it was worth the trip! Wear nice attire, and come be a part of the see and be seen crowd. The bar is amazing and the pool is spectacular. The beach is our most favorite in the world.

Every single detail is incredible from the architecture to the staff to the food to the drinks to the ambience I could go on for an hour about how amazing this place is all I can say is stop doing research and choose this place for your next destination. You will not be sorry -it will turn out to be one of the most amazing vacations that you will talk about for years to come
We had drinks at the Shore Club beach bar this afternoon for a little relaxation. The bar tenders were very friendly and customized everything exactly how we liked it.
The pool area is gorgeous! Very upscale, South Beach Miami like. We weren t staying here, but everything we saw looked fantastic and we will definitely look into it next time we come to Turks & Caicos!
What a great trip! Friendly staff, great food and a beautiful beach make this a must have trip.
The room and the view for this 5 star resort is amazing however the service is a bit lacking. Concierge and front door staff are very helpful and cordial but the waiting staff at the restaurants can use a little lesson in etiquette. Overall it was a pleasant stay due to the serene surroundings, the one perk is the beach and crystal clear waters, you can walk miles out and the water only reaches only waist high. Poor selection and variety for food options, for a 5 star hotel I would of expected more options and a higher level quality of food. The adult pool and the beach were the highlights of the trip...if you enjoy some quiet time the beach is the way to go. Beware the beach is quite windy as well.

Everything about this resort is outstanding...the view, the service, the amenities. We loved all the pools and the views from everywhere you go. The Sui Ren had amazing food. Try the Peruvian beef and the seafood baytavia. Ask for Latoya - she is the perfect combination of luxury service with accessible kindness!

Great place, almost perfect beach
The staff and facility are fantastic. The breakfast is as good as an included breakfast comes, with wide choices buffet style plus custom choices from a menu at no extra cost. So my wife had her scrambled egg white every day and I could have eggs Benedict when I wanted.
The hotel set up is very flexible. Our room for two could be opened to a suite next door and others for a 12 bedroom suite, we were told. The place is more intimate for having more elevators to a few rooms each. No long corridors to multiple rooms.
There are several pools, including an adults only pool and a lap pool. One has a nice swim up bar.
The downside is that food is mediocre. We did not try the fancy Japanese restaurant they have for dinner. But lunch choices were never bad, but never more than OK.
The beach can be windy, which moderates the heat. The beach suffers mostly because Grace Bay is so much better. Those beaches are mostly less than 10 minutes away if you have a car. There is also shuttle service over there to the Palms, under V the same management.
I will be back, and I will most certainly come here again.
AWFUL!!! Management is great (Rachael and Natacha are fabulous,) however, any staff that has a tip already added to your bill are horrific. Servers behave as if it is a major inconvenience to wait on you and literally display attitudes of annoyance. A family left to stay at Gansevoort to avoid the unacceptable level of service and a gentlemen only stays at the Shore for the room and goes to the sister hotels for food, pool and beach. The rooms at Shore are beautiful but for the same amount stay at Gansevoort and avoid having to complain a vacation is meant to enjoy not be tortured by the employees!
Also, Ben the shuttle driver was a gem and housekeeping was also good and kind! Ben said it the best- if our guests aren t happy you don t come back and he is correct! We will not be back! Small beach and loads of seaweed can t even enjoy the sand...there is hardly any!
We like are not overdemanding but like to stay at Pennisula in LA and generally any Ritz, so we aren t expecting more than what most 5 star hotels offer in the lines of service and attitude. Prices on the island are all normal for food, taxi and high end hotels.

Reading from the reviews it seemed like not only the property was located in the "nicer" side of the island but the property would be amazing.
As I write this review I'm sitting pool side looking around.... The service is terrible (to say the lo east). While they are fully staffed, all the employees are doing a whole lot of nothing.
The beach is dirty and uninviting.
My family has visited Maldives, Bora Bora, Fiji, Hawaii and not only does Turks & Caicos fall short of beauty but The Shore Club needs to revamp and train the staff asap!

Went there for my birthday two weeks ago and it was AMAZING! Best sushi I ve ever had! The bartender was really nice and not to mention Kofi the manager. He was amazing. That was the best birthday I ve ever celebrated. Big thank you to Kofi and his team.

Ok my review..... The staff was excellent. Steven... Latoya... and everyone else couldn't have been any better or more accommodating. The four pools offers plenty to choose from. Adult pool has hot tub but very quiet, hence Adult. The largest pool is very comfortable but seems to be the family pool also. The swim up bar at the 3rd pool was a nice feature. The last pool is near the gym and a very nice lap pool. Food was great. Breakfast was fresh and plenty to choose from, try the grapefruit from the breakfast menu, unbelievable. The cabs can be costly... You'll need to drive across island 10 min to get into town. Overall.... Great resort to relax . You will want to come back.
Simply put, this place is paradise! From the moment you walk in their staff provided an A+ experience like no other. They go above and beyond to make you sure you're well taken care of. Luxury at it's finest, highly recommended. We will be back for sure. Thank you Shore Club staff!
Service could have been much better initially. They need more restaurants and a wider variety of foods on in room dining menu.
We reserved a 1 bedroom oceanview suite. We were given the 1st floor suite 1101. This offered No Privacy and all you could see was the horizon of the ocean. We automatically requested a room change. It was difficult to get in contact with our private butler because she just responded through text messages and most texts were not going through. We finally got in touch with the manager and got our request answered. We then attempted to try to order room service. There was no room service button on the phone and their menu had about 10 things on it with no breakfast options. You had to dial the front desk and the call usually got lost. I then attempted to order through our butler. About an hour later, our order came. The beer my husband ordered broke when he opened it and it was the wrong type of beer. They kindly replaced it with no issue.
After a few other customer service shortfalls, we finally got our new room on the third floor. The view was breathtaking. The design and furnishings of each room were high end, well thought out, and well constructed. The resort has a very calm vibe and every building, floor, light, even landscaping is meticulous.
I do think this hotel has the best design in comparison to the other 5 star hotels I researched on this island. It was the only one that had 1.5 baths that had privacy in the 1 bedroom suites and it has the most square footage in a 1 bedroom suite for a reasonable price.
Housekeeping does a great job also in the suite and around the property.
If you are not an exacting person like myself, don t really order room service, and don t mind partial garden views when you paid for ocean views, then this place is perfect as soon as you arrive. After I got the view I paid for and got on the same page as our butler, this place certainly gets 5 stars.
It also has a really nice gym with a great variety of equipment for any exercise you decide to do.

Was only delivering a wedding cake that encountered disaster in the way there. I travel internationally often for work as a custom cake artist. My review this time is for the pastry chef. He gave me full use of his kitchen and products and made sure i had everything i heard to repair the cake. He couldn't help himself so he gave himself some if the wreck. If course he loved it. I'd he's this accommodating I can only suspect what the rest of the staff is. I did not get him name first he represented his club well.
The hotel is gorgeous and very well-designed. You truly feel like you are there alone and have lots of privacy and beautiful views. Water is shallow, very shallow. Better to swim early in the morning when there is a tide coming. Cabanas near the pool are super comfy and give great privacy and comfort from the heat.
The main issue is food. It is horrible - really bad (stayed August 2020). Breakfast is worse than a 3-star hotel, food really disgusting and very poor quality. This is unacceptable and ruined my mornings. The hotel is also far away from everywhere else so you are stuck there with bad food.
We had a car and went away most of the time for meals. The fine-dining restaurant though is good - quality sushi.
Please change your breakfast- it is a shame for a 5-star restaurant to serve such horrible meals. This is the main reason why I won't return there.

We didn't stay at this resort, but wow is it beautiful! I love the swim up bar and they were very friendly, even though we were not staying there they let us use the pool.
We love being here on our honeymoon! Idyllic place that we would have never imagined. The staff very friendly and always attentive to our needs. Hopefully we can come back at some point.

Valencia was excellent. I wasn't actually a guest of the hotel, I was visiting for the day. Valencia gave me a wonderful tour, and guided me to where I needed to be. She was hospitable and kind. If this is how they treat a day visitor I can imagine they treat their guests very well. The hotel was absolutely beautiful, and looks like the pictures on their website. I highly recommend a stay here.
Kerry Hendrickson and Daniel (the driver) were just so hospitable. We didn t actually stay here but we were staying nearby. They both went way above and beyond to help us find our VRBO...and got they reason the Shore Club is definitely on our radar. It is a beautiful property.
