Always a wonderful time, the Santa Fe Opera is a must do if you're in this part of the country.

Amazing venue, backless stage overlooking the mountains.

was in july of2015 sf operate see cold mountain.it was any thing but cold.it must have been 94 that night why don't they have air.

First class productions in an amazing setting. Friendly helpful staff all around.

I wouldn't miss it. Everything is top-notch. Even when I don't particularly like a production, I'm always glad I went. And don't forget: if cost is a deterrent, $15 standing room tickets are available! And you get a nice rail to lean on, and your own title screen. Arrive early and take a picnic. Highly recommended.

Fabulous theatre, fabulous music, fabulous singing, fabulous experience.

Such a beautiful venue! I do recommend getting a middle section or a seat to the right side of the stage because of the sun glare. Unfortunately this was my first time here, so I did not know and spent two hours with the sun. The staff and bartenders were so nice and welcoming.

This is an incredible performance space with amazing acoustics. We sat in the very last row and could hear everything clearly.

The opera is a wonderful experience. Backstage tours give and amazing insight into the effort put into every product. Tailgating in the parking lot, with it beautiful vistas, is unique to Santa Fe.

Dee Fledermaus was exquisite and perfect for Opening Night. We brought out teenaged daughter who is very excited about her next opera. This world renowned Opera House is absolutely beautiful and perfect for the summer season.

Absolutely one of a kind views. Classic opera feel with a New Mexico backdrop. It's difficult to explain how much the New Mexico scenery and skyline can add so much character to a show.

This is one of the most beautiful venues in the country. The sound is great and there are no bad seats!

Beautiful venue with great sight lines & acoustics. We've seen Blondie/X; Michael Franti and Lela Downs; B52s; as well as Robert Plant. Beautiful, dark sky for stargazing.

One of the greatest outdoor venues in the world to see opera. The casts are uniformly excellent, the staging and sets are lovely, and the orchestra is world-class.

The setting is truly breathtaking. The performance was great. The entire experience was transforming. This is a must see if you re a tourist and must support if you re a resident. I never thought a theater in US would ever come close to a theater experience in an Ancient Greek amphitheater in Corthinia, but this did. Bravo!

AMAZING!!! Game of Thrones Live Concert Experience is a must!!! Orchestra was fantastic especially the violinist and cellist, WOW!!! The venue was beautiful. It's an open venue so the wind was an issue this night, kind of cold but still enjoyable. Special guest appearances, George R. R. Martin!!! Loved reliving the GOT series through music

This venue is very beautiful. The chairs need a major upgrade. They are very uncomfortable and hot.

Well worth the effort to get reduced cost tickets. Up scale to the fullest in Opera's experience .

The architectural design and the beautiful mountain views make this experience not soon forgotten. Everyone should be able to partake in such magnificence at least once in their lifetime.

Beautiful Venue, very clean and a amazing place. Saw the Opera Candide, really more like a musical play than a traditional opera. Fun show a little silly but had a great time and enjoyed the performance. The most amazing thing about this venue is the seating. The seats are wide and not cramped. Plenty of legroom and wide isles. The open air concept was executed beautifully. There is a roof in case of rain but the sides are open and the back of the stage is open. The views from this place were spectacular. Can't wait to return and see another performance.

With there were more than 5 stars to rate with. What a unique experience - La Boheme amazingly staged and performed.

Phenomenal background and view. Each opera I've seen here has been outstanding in talent, costuming, sets, use of the natural elements, and live orchestra. A beautifully unique experience.

A bit yuppy but what do you expect? It's the opera. Nice views and they put the translation on the small screens on back of everyone's chair. We went on a slightly cooler day but still quite warm sitting for 2+ hours. Dress light.

Just there on a tour but you wouldn't believe what an amazing infrastructure exists under the stage. And, how many professional folks it takes to pull off a seamless show. Highly recommend a tour if you love opera. There is so much more than the "stars"...

First rock concert I have attended at this venu and it was incredible!

The atmosphere and aqustics are absolutely amazing, not to mention the sunsets which are breathtaking.

The santa fe opera is beautiful and dramatic in scenery and in the operas produced. I have gone to the opera many times since I was a child and only very rarely regretted it (cough, cough, cold mountain).

just go, the setting is remarkable, the staging and musicians are world class, really.
