Just being in Santa Fe makes me happy & being at the opera is a multiplier. We always enjoy the opera but 13th Child was a dud. Enjoy the atmosphere!

I've seen 3 operas here. I've seen several operas at The Met. Countless operas elsewhere. Santa Fe opera is world-class. All singers are strong. The orchestra is practically a "who's who" of symphonies. Truly a remarkable venue. 6 stars.

I love coming to the Santa Fe Opera to see all five operas every year. This is one of the most stunning Opera locations in the world with the opera house located on the side of a mountain with an Open Stage and a Mountain View From the stage. Tickets can range from the very reasonable too expensive and the entire Santa Fe Community takes part in making this Opera a complete success. Parking is wonderful, very friendly staff and this is a very marvelously different experience than going to any City Opera location.

Worth a trip to Santa Fe just to attend an opera performance. This is an outside venue (partially covered) and seeing an opera while the sun sets behind the stage is unbelievable.

Beautiful space, very disappointed that the subtitles did not work for most of the first act. Very hopeful this is worked out for the rest of the performances this weekend.

Incredible venue but operas are very hit and miss. La Boheme on 8/20/2019 was probably the best I have ever seen but the Thirteenth Child on 8/21 was horrific.

What a beautiful place .. treat yourself and those you love

The venue is beautiful! The sound and drinks were great and the show was awesome! However the parking/transportation is lacking. We had to park in the overflow at tesuque casino, we got a shuttle up the hill to the entrance but we're told there were no shuttles going back down. For anyone not in sneakers or flats, it's not a comfortable walk

Love it. We did the dinner before hand and had a wonderful time and learned a lot as well

My 1st opera. Went with my brother to see Madame Butterfly at evening. Stage and audience seats are covered but it's outside. Absolutely beautiful! Viewing screens on back of chairs in front of us translated language to English. The actors/actresses were outstanding in their performances. Truly gifted voices. Santa Fe Opera is 1st class, unique, and well worth experiencing!

Saw The Shins here, super cozy cool place to see a band, great acoustics obviously. Never seen an opera here

This is a unique venue for opera in the open air country near Santa Fe. But they need to add more bathrooms and certainly need a much larger gift shop.

I have waited a long time to visit the Santa Fe opera and I promise I will never miss another season. Candide was splendid! Loved the staging, performances, and the theater is stunning with breathtaking views. Aside from the Glimmerglass Festival near Cooperstown NY I haven't attended an opera in such a beautiful outdoor venue. It could be difficult for those with physical challenges, but helpful staff are everywhere to assist.

Excellent performances, incredible setting and views

We stopped by to look at this Opera house during its off season. All I can say is that,it's one of the most beautiful Opera house I've ever seen. It seats on a mountain overlooking the Jemez Mountain. Simply beautiful....

Wonderful production of Die Fledermaus, beautiful location, very comfortable seats with an excellent view. Loved it!

Stupendous View. Excellent acoustics. I suggest everyone get a chance to enjoy music in this fashion.
