Perfect for all your Instagram photos and wonderful restaurant, but I expect a hotel in the desert to have proper air conditioning. Our room barely got cool enough to be comfortable, not cool. The hallways are not airconditioned. This may not seem like a big deal, but lugging your suitcase through an 85 degree hallway to a 76 degree room is a huge disappointment. Also felt like they ran out of money and ideas when it came to finally decorating the rooms. I recommend coming for dinner, drinks, and the pool. Do not recommend staying here.

Taco Tuesdays and Thursdays are best deal for happy hour drinks and delicious upscale tacos. Short rib nachos were excellent and servers were attentive and friendly. Nice vibe for a relaxed yummy evening.

The lobby is very bright and colorful which I enjoyed. There are bicycles for guest use though I'm not sure if you need to rent them at a price. There is also a photo booth area and a ping pong table. The bar is great and the food is amazing both bar food and breakfast. I didn't use the pool as it was cold but I had a view of it at night and it looked nice. I did notice a bar area at the pool but again, wasn't able to partake. The rooms are very basic almost like if you're going into a regular motel. Nothing truly special about the hotel rooms other than the little bluetooth speaker that was available. There are no amenities that take your breath away and the Fiji bottles of water in the room are 7 or 8 dollars per bottle so not even worth it. I honestly wouldn't go out of my way to make a reservation here again, I only went because the room was free as a result of a raffle winning.

I've been here for Splash House several times and the staff is always so accommodating, friendly, patient, and kind. It has the most charm and character of any hotel in Palm Springs plus good food.

Insanely overpriced for what you get. $300+ fees per night, for a completely average experience. Nothing particularly special about the room or the space, no thoughtful touches or anything, no perks, no luxuries. There were a few loud, obnoxious guests roaming the hallways all night, and then the pool area the next day. And at 10pm on a SATURDAY, all the fun stuff closes -- bar, pool, restaurant, etc., so you don't even get a real nightlife experience, even on the weekend. It was not a BAD experience overall, but for $300+? Outrageous.

Edit, in response to Owner's reply: I appreciate abiding the COVID guidelines, but if such a major part of the appeal of your hotel's experience (and price) is eliminated as a result, the rate should be adjusted, as well.

What you need to know about the Saguaro :

What you need to know about the Saguaro :
- the hotel looks nice, the gym is ok, the yoga class is great
- you have to add to the room rate 2 taxes (about 17% of your room rate for 2 people) + 39.72$ of resort fee for each day you stay there
- for this price, you will NOT have a coffee machine in your room, you will find 2 beautiful 7$ bottles of water (each) as a welcome package
- some rooms are being renovated --> noisy
- our room was not renovated and the smell was just HORRIBLE. Carpet and sink...
- if you go to the swimming pool don't go too early (no towel available) or too late (no sun bed available)
- if you want to rent bikes, they only have 4, so you'd better wake up early

Cool spot, good pool. AC didn't work hardly at all and for the price you'd expect the pool chairs to not be stained and black. Pretty gross. Also maybe don't have the maintance guy using a grinder on the gate for multiple hours during peak sun hours. Super loud and annoying.

Beautiful and unique lines. Great place to Instagram to your heart's content, lots of fun lines to play with. Everything is pricey so be prepared for that (food and drinks) - but it's to be expected. Fun colours and the views are amazing. :)

This is definitely a party hotel, while the pool was amazing and staying there was pleasant - the rooms have a bit of a motel feel. For the price - we had an amazing experience, ate really good food (poolside), and had delicious drinks. We will definitely be back!!

On Priceline, this hotel was listed as 4 star. But on Google maps it is listed as 3 star.
So, yeah. 3 star. The only difference between a Best Western and this place is it has a cool restaurant with very good food. Room was $100 minus incidentals and taxes. The rooms? I can't judge all the rooms just based on our stay, but.. very blahze/basic, old & dirty furniture, old ugly carpet.. Our 'Mountain View' was a view of the street with the mountain behind it. I love the staff and restaurant.. which is why I gave it 3 stars.

It's a nice hotel, and the pool area is really lovely, but it's kind of intense in its color scheme and determination to be cool. There's a strange Barbie doll thing in the lobby area and our room was decorated in neon lime (including the curtain which made everything and everyone greenish looking), purple carpet, and an orange bathroom - so I wouldn't really call it relaxing. The staff is nice and they gave us a late check out which was really awesome. Didn't try the food, so no comment on that. Had an okay brief stay, but not sure it's worth the money.

Besides a pretty pool with fun photos ops, the actual hotel experience was one of the worst we ve ever experienced. Broken AC (on a 106 degree day), stale cigarette smelling rooms, cockroaches, non-working phones, non-working safes and had to call 3 times before finally having a hairdryer brought to the room an hour later. The staff acted annoyed that we requested that their basic amenities were actually provided or working. Save yourself a terrible stay and only visit the pool as a visitor.

Had a 90 minute massage from Angel at the spa on Friday. My husband had bought the Groupon for me as a gift, which can be a little scary since some places will treat you badly for using them, but everything was very nice! Angel was great and listened, I have a foot with severe nerve pain (CRPS) that needs to be left alone, and there was no problem. I would have liked a little more deep tissue work, but it was a Swedish massage and I know that isn't included, so it's not a complaint. She did still do some work on the terrible knots in my back, which felt incredible. Definitely knows what she's doing with your body. The deal included two pool passes, and it turned out the day we booked there was a band playing at the pool, The Flusters. It was fun for me to be able to dance with my husband in the water since I can't do real dancing anymore! The pool is huge. The property itself is not in the absolute best condition, but it is pretty trendy in style. The pool water felt a little icky with all the people. Those are the reasons for less than 5 stars, but I'd happily do it again!

Disgusting. Low quality party hotel where the bright colors and photo filters try to distract you from the super low quality, cleanliness, and cheap amenities. Just be drunk the whole time and you won t think about the venereal disease you ll get by touching anything here. Ew.

It was an okay hotel. The beds were comfortable and it served the purpose of having a place to stay for a couple nights. I do wish I had the chance to explore the place more but didn't have the opportunity. The staff was friendly.

Decent, basic hotel, but pretty pricey for what is essentially a Motel 6 with a playful color palette. The staff were all friendly and welcoming, but the facilities definitely feel tired. I didn't appreciate that the hotel appears to make no effort to be environmentally conscious and changes linens daily, wasting tons of water in a desert environment. The location is reasonable, generally $9 to Lyft downtown.

My first time staying at the Saguaro was so much fun! The location is very convenient and there's a shopping center with a supermarket right across the street. Each room has a different colors theme and my partner and I slept comfortably! The grounds and the pool are iconic parts of Palm Springs! There are sometimes pool parties on Saturdays and Sundays so make sure you get there early to save a spot at the pool!

Arrived at 3:57pm, literally, and was told that check in did not start until 4pm then was told that my room was not ready but I was to be called when it was. Went to El Jefe to have some lunch, 1 hour goes by and no call. Went to the front desk to check status of room and was told that the room HAD BEEN ready and the employee who told me they were gonna call had left for lunch. So not that great of a first impression. Very instrammable place but you do get what you pay for (overpriced? yes..) The rooms are subpar, nothing special. Bathrooms/towels are kind of dingy and if your room is on the bottom floor then be prepared to hear the rooms above you all night. The pool is very nice but definitely not at 50% capacity and masks are NOT enforced so beware and go at your own risk. Drinks and food were really good though!

Do not be fooled by the photos, this is no hip and serene hotel.

Where to begin? First, the hotel closed the pool for maintenance during our January stay and didn't notify us until 10 days before arrival via general email. This is advertised as the pool place in Palm Springs. As we pre-paid in full in October, we should have been warned. We didn't find out about a cancellation offer until the day before our flight and it was because we called to inquire about something unrelated.

Second, during check-in, the desk tried to "upgrade" us from a mountain view to a pool view. Because who wouldn't want to see a construction zone instead of the mountains? Thankfully, we caught this and insisted we wanted our pre-selected room.

Third, the overall condition is terrible. I'd be shocked if there's a facility manager. The odor in the halls and elevator is a mixture of chlorine and musty carpet. The walls are completely scuffed and dirty everywhere you turn. Simply cleaning the carpets, walls, and fresh paint would be helpful. There were no mattress protectors/covers beneath a flat sheet used as a fitted sheet so we bought cheap bedding from Target!

Fourth, the bathroom shower barely worked with a impossibly hard to pull lift and loose drain stopper. The toilet was so loud when flushing that we worried it would stop working any minute.

Fifth, the walls are paper thin. We could hear entire conversations of our neighbors (and their rap music).

Overall, Palm Springs is a spectacular destination. The single let down of the entire trip was this misleading hotel. Put the money towards a higher star hotel or stick with a chain. Both Ace Hotel and V Hotel where pool shuttles were being offered looked immensely better from the outside.

Go to Palm Springs. Skip the Saguaro.

The people are very nice, visitors and employees. But unless you like very very young crowd, lots of music, very old hotel that smells of a thousand plug in air fresheners everywhere, don't come. It's making me so sick I'm throwing up. Very toxic smell. They also don't air-condition hallways, yikes, 110 outside. Rooms cold though.

As long as you keep in mind this is a colorfully dressed up "budget" hotel with some well-designed amenity spaces, you shouldn't be too disappointed. We loved the view from our second floor "Mountain View" room, but would request top floor in the future to avoid hearing what's going on in the room above. Housekeeping service was attentive and generous with refilling toiletries. Communication from the website and front desk staff could be improved. We wish we had known ahead of time about the construction work going on during our stay (pool closed for 2 days) and about the 2-hour time limit on the cruiser bikes and more clarity about scheduling airport shuttle service. When the shuttle was out of service for a "broken tail light," staff gave information about the Buzz bus that was contrary to what was posted online and the sign outside. Fortunately we are very comfortable on public transit and got around great on the Sun Line for most of our 7-day stay.

The rooms are pretty terrible. They smell, have horrible air quality, transmit sound between units, every surface is old and dinged, there are very few accessible and working electrical outlets. There is also very little connectivity to WiFi or cell service. Overall, this is the worst guest room experience I ve ever had.

I visited this hotel when I attended Splash House. I didn't interact with the staff too much during my stay but, I can definitely say that it has a more laid back feel to it than most hotels. Its pool area design has an apartment type look where all the hotel room balconies are in close proximity to the pool and to each other.

Super popular hotel especially during the summer. Trendy and very instagram-able with the colored doors.

Staff was great. Right across the street from multiple banks, eateries and grocery stories. It is 2.5 miles from the main shopping area, if u have plan to go there.

Bike rentals are available on site. Would recommend this spot. And would recommend getting pool view, it s an awesome view.

Not worth staying at. 2 stars just because of the pool, that s the only thing worth experiencing!
I felt so ashamed I took my family to stay there with me in the ridiculous suite with 2 bedrooms, what a disappointment!
My friends that stayed there had the exact same experience e.g. terrible service, tasteless rooms that need to be remodeled and totally overpriced rate regardless of how long you stay.
Note: I stayed 3 nights in a suite with 2 bedrooms during the BNP ParisBas Tennis Open (which I attend every single year).
