We want to see Stonehenge and Windsor Castle. ThRoman Baths was included in the tour. I don't know if it was the rush of the tour or the experience itself, but I felt it was a rip off. It was extremely crowded. We literally could not walk inside. The baths is completely enclosed and you have to walk from room to room, going down and up ramps after ramps. It is small the walking paths for the amount of people they put in, plus they do not move. They stay on and on with the audio guide. I personally did not enjoy this. The town is lovely, not sure I would come back.

The baths were good but the queuing was awful. Our time was 90% unnessicary queuing and 10% looking at the baths and museum. It was so slow to get around, I definitely wouldn't recommend going until they have sorted out how to get people around quickly and safely.

Very interesting place. Loads of information about life in Romans' times. Great exhibitions. Audio guide is a must as it guides you through the place providing facts and details. Highly recommended!

Second visit after at least thirty years and an amazing amount of work has been done. Very informative, just so busy, the audio guides are great but it does mean there is lot of people not really looking where they are going while tapping in numbers. If you want a people free photo the shot from the ladies loos is lovely, in fact the loos are lovely and clean and spacious. Don't forget to sample the waters as well.

The Baths are one of the best attractions available in the UK. Totally unique in the country, supremely well-presented and well worth the price of admission, these are unmissable if you have a weekend in the city planned.

The Roman baths is situated in the heart of Bath so parking is difficult and a short walk on level ground is needed. The baths are bigger inside than any photo can show ,holagrams, film discriptions , arts and crafts plus games for kids in one side room can take an hour . People in Roman dress and demos so give it almost 2-3 hours on many levels before you get to the shop.well worth a visit you will be surprised.

A fantastic museum experience with an excellent audio-guide as you tour both the exhibits and then the baths themselves. It was very relaxed and uncrowded when we visited in mid-December.

Beautiful Roman baths and fun exhibits inside. Even my toddler was interested. I loved seeing the collection of notes and drinking the water (it was warm and gross). I've been to several Roman baths, but this one was the best

The coolest part is actually looking at the waters that make up the baths. The in house museum isn t brilliant and the audio guide doesn t provide much of interest. I d say zoom past as much of the museum as possible and spend your time at the waters.

Wonderful experience. I amazed myself by going into the outdoor roof top heated baths. It was belting down with rain . But shoulders down we were lovely and cosy . ... one hour waiting time for admission but so glad we did wait. It's worth every penny ..

This place is amazing! The atmosphere is great, the fact that the pool is still filled with water helps picturing how it must have been in the past, there's free guided tours every hour, they will provide you with an audio guide as well. The whole experience was great! The only thing I had a problem with is that is was extremely crowded, they should allow less people in at the time, it's already difficult enough to walk on the original floors by the pool without that many people getting in your way trying to get cool selfies!

A really informative visit to the Roman Baths. Looks quite small from the outside, but in reality it is super big. Enough to keep you busy for the afternoon. I wished I d been able to stay longer, but I had an appointment at the modern Baths. I really recommend giving this attraction a visit!

The building from the outside you would never guess what was inside. Didn't have to queue for long, but I would guess once summer hits it'll be busy. Once paid you pick a phone up and as you walk through the baths there'll be numbers on information boards, put this in your phone and listen away. Whilst walking around I did notice this kept younger children entertained . The baths are stunning. Learnt a lot. Easily spend 2 hours there. Plenty of signs around telling you to watch your footing on the uneven floor, but still kept tripping, flat shoes is a must. At the end you get to sample some bath spring water ...just watching people do this is amusing. There are quite a few steps but also there are lifts too.

Exactly as you would expect. Very uneven round the pool but hey after almost 2000 years the pavement is going to suffer!

Most places in there accessible for wheelchairs etc, but not all.

They also have Autism friendly times too.

Must go feature of the city! We did a tour of the baths which is almost like a museum. You also get a drink of the spring water which is quite unique and exactly how you would imagine it ;-)

Brilliant! Such an interesting point of interest! Also they have special back-packs baby carriers free to use as the place is not convenient for buggies. Great service from staff and the building and structures are modern but sophisticated not to take away the ancient feeling too much.

Brilliant venue if your into a bit of history. You get an audio guide with your entry and there are great pieces throughout, let along the actual bath itself. They also have actors in period costume to interact with who were a good laugh.

This place is incredible.

This place is incredible.

A uniquely and well preserved monument to yesteryear is what this place represents

Dating back to the Roman era these baths represent an engineering masterpiece which is unable to be replicated since ancient Roman times

Built some 2000 years ago by the Romans who occupied the region this spa operated as a fully functional Bath for the duration of the occupation and fell into its current state once they left and the locals to date have still not been able to work out the functioning operation of them which is an amazing piece of trivia

Visitors from all over the world come to visit the magnificent town of Bath everyday whether by car or bus or train or coach they get here to marvel not only the baths but the city of Bath as a whole

The fascination we have with ancient times means that one is easily transposed to the beginning of the first century where the wealthy were able to enjoy these natural springs

Bath as a city is glorious with its little shops and major names all lining its streets welcoming tourists keen to buy that souvenir for friends or take something special home as a keepsake if their trip here. Stay a day or stay a week this place is a must when visiting London. So add it to your shopping list of places to visit whilst in the area

You can also have a tasty high tea in one of the more established tea houses.
