Always good place to take friends/visitors. Audio guides are provided once a ticket is purchased. The staff and Roman actors/actresses are very friendly and helpful. The main hotspring feature is a bit narrow and can get crowded.

Well, I had planned my visit via a guided tour (picks you up from London-Victoria Coach station and drops you off during the evening time back near Victoria) that turned out to be unexpectedly and surprisingly sweet. The guide explained More

We were fortunate enough to arrive early at 10am on a Saturday, so avoided the crowds. We were lucky enough to get a free tour guide, she was very informative and insightful. I would definitely recommend a visit here, steeped with interest and history.

I've been to the Roman Baths many times but it get better all the time.
Wonderful rooftop bath overlooking the city and so many Aussies here this time and some that call Bath home permanently. I love Bath !

If you are interested in history then I recommend The Roman Baths, I've always wanted to come here as a little girl as the Romans were a subject I enjoyed in school, stepping into this attraction was cool and I could picture myself chilling in the baths... Though it is heavily advised not to take a dip, no matter how much it looks inviting haha!

Very interesting and beautiful place to visit, amazingly well preserved too considering the age! Very important and significant historical site that is definitely worth a visit. The only thing that we found to be slightly disappointing was the amount of other visitors standing around in the way whilst using the audio guides as it made it very hard for us to look at what we wanted to look at, however this was no fault of The Roman Baths, we would still recommend them!

The baths is one of those places that you have to see for yourself to appreciate what they have to offer there.
The perfect blend of traditional information boards, electronic displays and a comprehensive audio guide.
Well worth a visit if you are ever near Bath.

What an excellent example of the ingenuity of the Romans. We went through in about 1.5 hours as we were rushed to meet the tour bus. We only listened to the English commentary about the sites, if we had time we would have listened to the archaeology commentary as well.

This is one of the main attractions in Bath. The museum is really good. It's pricy but from my point it absolutely deserves it. We spent a couple of hours here and enjoyed every minute. They provide audio guides in different languages and what they told you is really interesting. You should go here.

I love history and this place has great history attached to it. Gives you an insight of the life and times of the Romans. I recommend spending half a day here , don't forget to take the audio guide.

Very interesting look into ancient Roman architure and life. You also get beautiful views of the bath with the Bath Abbey above. It was not overly crowded on a Friday afternoon so that was nice.

My favourite museum and it's been updated since I last came here a few years ago. Very informative, takes a few hours to get around properly but some really great interesting displays. I particularly love what they've done with the projection on the stone face (not going to reveal any spoilers!)

Probably the must-visit tourist spot of Bath. They offer free audio guides but you can also wander around and just read the signs. It's very fascinating to be in such an old place and kind of odd to learn so much of Roman culture in England but it is very educational and one of a kind. Spoiler alert: At the end they have a fountain where you can drink the water and I didn't like the aftertaste, but I suppose that's on me for expecting anything different!

I visited with my children one of whom is autistic. I am impressed how they have made this an inclusive setting. The website has a downloadable guide with pictures to prepare. They have objects signed 'please touch' All the staff members we encountered were friendly. A beautiful place

A relic of Roman Britannia that everyone should see. You reserve tickets online and come at your designated time slot. It isn't crowded because of social distancing so you can calmnly enjoy reading and experiencing the history.

One of the best parts of our trip to England! Not a big place and restricted even now to the Georgian period for architecture. Most traffic is by foot and if there is one word to describe it now that might be artistic. But that is said in terms of historic. Bath sits at a point crossed by centuries of history. I cannot do it justice in word. It needs to be visited and seen. From Roman to Medieval to Georgian to now. And I missed a bunch! If (when?) I go back it will be for a much longer length of time. Enjoy the pictures. And the bridge is one of two in the world. Stores line both sides. The other is in Venice.

STUNNING!!!!! and so well presented. There is a lot to see and do. I have traveled the world and this has to be one of the best museums. The videos on glass in the baths were amazing. How they made them see through I will never know. A+

When you first walk in and see the main Bath it is so impressive and you could probably spend at least 20 minutes just checking this bit out BUT! be aware that there is plenty more to come! I think we spent about an hour and a half in here - the amount of history and information given over the audio guide is pretty awesome! You'll be able to tell your friends all sorts of interesting facts afterwards!
An awe striking sight and experience - must be seen on a trip through Bath.

Amazing museum! It is much bigger inside than it looks from the outside. Extremely interesting piece of world and british history! Additional plus are audio guides for kids to keep little ones occupied while you are listening to "adult stuff" :)

This was a beautiful place to visit. It was absolutely worth the trip out from London for us, as we were tourists. It's fascinating to see structures still intact from ancient Rome, and I felt so humbled to get to see the sacred pools that only priests were able to visit. The museum has a phenomenal audio guide that I recommend, and they do a great job of transporting you back to experience what life was like when the pools were active and used for their intended purpose. The city of bath is divine, it felt almost unreal. They had musical street performers that added to the beauty of the buildings. I was enchanted, and have decided that this is where I want to retire in my old age!
