Great site went in February not many tourists even better. Very informative showed how large they were. A must when visiting Bath.
Great site went in February not many tourists even better. Very informative showed how large they were. A must when visiting Bath.
Great visit to the Roman Baths.
Lots of history and an audio phone to tell you each part with good clear signs on what numbers to listen to.
Good screens and certain parts showing what it used to look like, very interesting.
Few parts closed due to covid, on the whole it was good with the social distancing but I feel like way too many people were let in at one time causing long queues which some people didn t really stick too. The staff didn t really step in to try to solve this in certain areas.
I personally wouldn t let so many people as it took away from the experience but I understand they want to get as much money as possible. That s the only reason I didn t give 5 stars.
Very impressive, surprisingly extensive site. Can be hugely busy, but take your time and take it all the sights. Audio guides are very good and they have tried very hard to make it accessible to disabled people.
Impressive museum, great and easy-to-understand comments from the audio guide, interesting short videos inside the Roman Baths for better imagination.
In the heart of the city.. Near to train and bus station a lot of attraction places
Beautiful place and really interesting. Popped in for a visit when staying in Bath. The only downside was there wasnt alot to keep my 1q year old daughter interested and she became bored half way round
If you re going to Bath for the first time or again after several years, you really need to visit the Roman baths. It seems like they re always uncovering new areas of it
Brilliant place in the centre of bath. Very interesting with audio guides at your own pace but does get extremely busy and crowded trying to view everything on display
Very interesting and informative with audio guides included. Also sign boards. Access for wheelchairs.
Great tourist attraction in the centre of Bath with interesting exhibitions and an easy to follow audio tour.
As a massive fan of Roman history it was very exciting to stand on the ground Romans built and to view the exhibitions (coins, stone statues, complete baths).
Very easy way to spend a few hours and integral to the history of Bath.
Great looking around a being able to listen to the history
The closest thing to being able to travel back in time. The entire complex is amazingly designed to give you an in-depth look at the baths and ancient Roman history. I could spend all damn day here.
Good to know on the history and how Romans have ruled the British...
Also interesting to see the hot thermal springs .. worth to visit once if in UK
The queue moves quickly and the wait was well worth it
Well worth the price of admission, and taking your time through here will take at least a couple of hours. I'd also recommend taking the audio tour.
More to see underground than you think amazing experience
Amazing slice of history, take your time and absorb the whole experience. Can be a bit slow because of Covid precautions but be patient it's definitely worth it.
Absolutely amazing place for the history, and a lovely place to go for a visit. ( highly recommend ).
Amazing place to visit! The free tour guide hand sets were brilliant & gave loads of information. The facilities were excellent & there was great access for people with disabilities. Would definitely recommend a visit.
Really enjoyed the tour, well curated and all the major aspects of the baths are visible to see.
Interesting UNESFO site which you can visit in an hour or two. Unfortunately, it's very highly priced.
Bath is absolutely amazing! Go and see it for yourself!
Fantastic exhibit. Don t miss out on the audio guide. Allow yourself 2.5 hours approx but I would book the whole day in Bath as the entire city is just beautiful and so much to see.
Ps. You can try the water at the end of the tour. I wouldn t recommend it. It tastes terrible
Must see when visiting the bath. Highly recommended
Very interesting history. Well worth visiting to understand what the baths were like many years ago and how it attracted people from afar as it still does today.
Well worth the money! It's really interesting and well set up. There's a one way system set up because of Covid and they try and enforce it as much as possible.
Very nicely conserved. Looking forward to the underground work going on to save more of Roman Bath.
Very well presented and organised exhibit. ... Which goes on far longer than you expect! A huge variety to geek out over.
Old time classic beauty.... very well taken care of and extremely helpful staff. Plus the Greek phrase on the top of the monument...
Although I enjoyed it and it's a good price of history you will find it is absolutely packed with people, almost to the point you can't move from A to B. To overcrowded and the shop is way overpriced
One of the best preserved, most complete Roman sites anywhere, and definitely the best in the UK.
Excellent tourist attraction - very educational and interesting! Do not be put off by long queue outside - it moves very quickly.
It's worth the visit and obviously has alot of history to follow-up on, to appreciate everything.
Don't be put off by the big queues or the entrance price- it is really worth it to experience this amazing piece of Roman history- It is best to get there as early as possible in the morning to beat the rush. Make sure that you try the waters at the end of the tour.
We were 5 families touring together and brought as happy one back in the Roman time west way. A very joyful tour that was.
This place is brilliant but costly to get in. Loved it
Best tourist experience I ve had. Magnificent baths and brilliant audio guide. Fantastic staff. Couldn t recommend more
A fascinating relic from our past and so beautifully preserved now. It's a good hour to get round this site as they have laid it out as a trail through the difference areas. Can be pricey.
Good mid-range day event. 2 hours to get round, very interesting
If you're in the area, then this place is certainly worth a visit. So much history packed into a smallish museum. The free audio tour devices are worth picking up too. They have channels designed for kids.
I'd recommend pre-booking your tickets online. This will allow you to get in the fast lane upon entering the museum. We did it from our mobile phones just outside the museum.
The tour ends with the gift shop (no surprise there). Lots of nice little souvenirs for young and old.
There are several large parking lots in the surrounding area. We visited in the late evening and had no issues with parking.
Love history. This place is (literally) dripping with it. The audio handset gives the option to explore more detail about the displays that capture your imagination most.
As a man with some severe body confidence issues, I usually steer clear of spas. Fortunately I made an exception with this one (wandering around in tight speedos might actually be forbidden here). Well worth the time and money! It is just mind boggling how clever the ancient Romans were. The complimentary audio guide is well made and makes the visit a fascinating journey into history.
It's amazing especially the roman bath where the romans use to bath in the 18th century amazing experience well worth a visit for you money.
Visited because it was one of the stops on a guided tour of Stonehenge. Probably would not have chosen to visit otherwise. Found it to be fairly boring overall. The town is worth exploring though.
It shows the splendor of ancient roman architecture. The baths is a very big building with lots of preserved parts. Visit well worth the price. Will take about 2-3 hours to see everything.
Had a really good time. Best to go early, before 11, as it gets busy. Has a great audio guide and one for the kids too.
A historic place to know more about Bath. The tickets are a bit expensive as it is not big and it takes around an hour to look around.
Wow what a special place to visit. The Roman Baths are stunning, the baths are very well set out for visitors, with free audio guides available in many languages. The underground museum is packed with information you could spend hours perusing through. There are plenty of grammable spots for those wanting the perfect picture but be sure to arrive early to avoid the crowds. This place is an absolute must for anyone visiting the Bath area. You can purchase a museum saver ticket for entry into the Baths, the Fashion Museum and the Victoria Art Gallery.
Brilliant experience, wonderful combination of history with digital exhibitions to bring the past to life. Our 6 year loved the audio guide, included in the entry fee and actually had to dragged away which is a first for any museum.
Great museum, reasonably priced, not overcrowded. Loads of interesting exhibits.
Really interesting museum. Highly recommend visiting this place with friends and family.
Had a lovely time at the baths. Very informative with a great idea of a phone to give you information as you walk around. A must visit if your in bath.
Tons of history in a well preserved building. The staff went above and beyond here.
The city of Bath is absolutely lovely and I wish to spend more time there in the future.
They some nice items in here, would recommend popping in and taking a look
A very well laid out attraction with great audio visual displays
Nothing impressive about the place..the option which we can easily skip...
Didn't have time to view the baths since we were with Cosmos tours.
Seemed a bit pricey but proved to be fully worth the fee!
I have visited the Roman Baths twice in my life and in my opinion they are one of the best museums and sites in Europe. It is truly stunning and the research and preservation quality of the museum is top notch. You will learn things about Roman history you never knew and see amazing sites! Just try to go at more off hours to avoid big lines.
