I helped to organize a company outing here at the Chelsea location, and it was fantastic. Everyone was talking about it the next day. The top shelf open bar with food and unlimited games was definitely the way to go. There's nothing like games and great food to bring people together. We all knew the games would be fun, but we didn't expect the food to be so delicious! There are quite a few food snobs amongst us, and all were impressed. The short rib grilled cheese was the winner, but everything was great. I loved the purple veggie burgers too. I highly recommend Barcade for a group event. We had 30 people and it was perfect.

Excellent beer selection, helpful staff, and reasonable prices for midtown. Oh, and they have a rotating selection of arcade classics, like the X-Men beat-em-up. What's not to like about this place?

This place is is awesome! They have a lot of the classic arcade games like Mrs Pacman, Daytona USA, Golden Axe, Milepede, and Qbert. They have some newer games too, all in arcade format. You have to buy tokens from a machine instead of rolling up with quarters.

They have happy hour, Monday to Friday, from noon until 7pm. The special is $1 off beer (not $1 beer...$1 OFF beer). They also have hot dogs. There is no Game Over at Barcade!

Great game selection! They had a few favorites of mine, even: Gunblade NY, Metal Slug and Bust a Move on Neo Geo, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The most expensive game I saw was 50 cents- awesome! No one under 21 allowed, so no little kids running the experience for the grown-ups.

Craft beer in New York has been a reality for many years and it is very easy to enjoy it in one of its many breweries, but one of the most attractive is the Barcade, since it unites beer and recreational of the 80, an ideal mixture for nostalgic . The prices of the beers vary from 7-9 dollars and the recreational ones, price change of chips for 25-50 cents, for the entrance it is necessary to show the card and it has happy hour, where to taste the beer you will get a cheaper dollar.

I didn't eat or drink anything, I just came for the games. A whole bunch of arcade machines, from the late seventies to the early nineties. From classics like Space Invaders, Donkey Kong, Galaga or Q*Bert to Alien 3, Daytona USA and NBA Jam. All of the ones that I tried worked nicely and you could play them for a quarter each. Customers were nice (no kids in there) and the bouncer was friendly. Personnel was unobtrusive and let you play your games. I was there at 9 or 10 pm during the week and most people there actually were playing video games. Had fun, would come again.

The food was great and the video games were old school just how I like it. I went with 3 friends and we all ordered different things to eat and it was all very good. The bill came and it was only $85.00.

There's no better way to spend a Friday night in the city than at this barcade. Awesome selection of games which will keep you entertained on their own, quite a beer selection that will make the gaming that much better and great food that will make you want to drink more. I highly recommend the Mac and cheese and the short rib sliders, but play some xmen or tmnt first. Earn that food!!!

Great beer selection, decent happy hour, and fun bar food. Also, lots of video games - I'm a fan of 4-player pacman. A bit too loud for a date, a bit too crowded for a big group, but perfect for 3-4 people to stand, drink, and

If you re into retro arcade games, check out this place. Not much different than other arcade bars I ve been to in various other cities but I did like how the high scores were posted on a chalkboard along the back wall. The games run on tokens and there s 2 machines that dispense tokens, about 25 or 50 cents to play. The drinks were fairly inexpensive ($7-9 a pint, $6 a shot) and I didn t try the food but it looked good.

Does it get any better then vintage games & alcohol. Barcade is definitely one of my top spots to hang with friends and catch up, it is a great throw back to when we were kids playing Taxi, Pac-Man, Mario, Ninja Turtles.

Fantastic blast in the past! A lot of fun and atmosphere! a great bar too and a great crowd! Highly recommended for any arcade games fans out there and any nostalgia fans of the 80's! (also got a great location in jersey city!)

Most of the games there are outdated and used coins. Games were too boring to be fun at all! The food we ordered there was actually pretty good! Would recommend the tatter tots and calamari. But the place was way too LOUDDD!! You can barely hear yourself talk! The bathrooms look like something out of a crackhouse. Maybe it was originally a crackhouse....

If you don't already know, Barcade is a portmanteau of bar and arcade. It's a fantastic concept, and its range of both drinks and retro games mean you won't be disappointed if you arrive with a date or a group.

Bartenders are awesome. No wait staff - only a clean up crew and they will bring the food to your table. Order food and drinks at the bar. Nice vintage games. Nice open area with wood floors. Big 80's feel. Rose wine tastes a bit watered down - maybe not good quality. Go for the many beers on tap instead !

If you are looking for that feeling of a mall arcade, this is the spot. They have a great selection of games, Evey single one of them a classic. The best price it's only 1 token per game. The beer selection is great and the Duck nachos are a must try.

Nifty
