Great spot to bounce in and hang with friends. Not too busy when we went, but in a good way. Age restriction which really made the experience that much more enjoyable. Will definitely have to come back.

Really cool place with lots of games from your childhood. The little pulled pork burgers are delicious and the chickenwings are nice and just right spicy too. Great variety of beers and friendly stuff.

I only like coming here when I m with a good crowd that I can enjoy spending time with no matter where I am. Otherwise it s a bit underwhelming since it takes forever to get a drink, and everything feels quite dirty..

The arcade games are great of course but the food is sub par. If you're going for drinks and fun it's a cool spot. The bathroom graffiti, while reminiscent of the 80s feels dingy and has a lot of racist sentiment.

There are a ton of craft beers here, definitely one for every kind of taste. The arcade games are so much fun and a great way to hang out with friends. It gets pretty crowded around 8-9pm but I never had trouble finding an arcade game to play

Amazing concept for a bar..especially for Millenials. Visited this location on a Saturday evening, it was quite packed. The food options were wonderful (chicken and waffles sandwich!) and of course the arcade games were great, brought back so many childhood memories. The cost for tokens was very reasonable! I would suggest that they play a wider variety of music, otherwise the experience was great.

Fun location with some nice arcade cabinets and a nice bar. Lunch specials are thoughtful and smelled heavenly. A very thoughtful selection towards craft beer selection and drink specials.

Arcade machine attention needs upkeep. Crazy Taxi ate my tokens (staff immediately apologized and refunded when brought to their attention), Daytona USA had major drift to the left (leftmost machine of four). SEGA Gunblade NY left trigger was intermittent, and the right monitor on the X-Men arcade cabinet was super dim, to the point of being an active distraction while trying to play the game.

Based off the food and drink, I'd return. Based off the machine quality - I couldn't.

This place is amazing if you love retro video games. Good selection of beers and cider and all of the classic games you would want to play. Fair warning, they use tokens not quarters and the var won't refund if you over buy them.

Pretty good selection as beer bars go but usually not a lot to thrill beer geeks. That's fine, this is something different and done well. Staff is pretty good too. The games are generally kept in pretty good shape and the selection is good. Not a destination bar for beer people but definitely the best option in the Chelsea.

Fun

Perfect place if you crave vintage gaming while drinking an adult beverage. Barcade has become a regular stop when I am in NYC so I can relive some of the best games of my childhood while enjoying a new and different beer.

Awesome place for old school arcade fun , drinks and fun, cool rock music in the background, great place to unwind and reminisce, highly recommended and the arcades are always clean, working and in great shape, the best.

I was very intoxicated when I came here and I had a blast! They had an old school X-Men video game I was very happy. You will not be disappointed. Just prepare yourself for all the frats European descent individuals who can't hold their liquor.

There are several barcade locations, and I'd say this one is second only to the one in Jersey City. Larger than the occasionally claustrophobic St. Mark's one, more consoles than the flagship Brooklyn spot.
They have my personal favorite, Tapper (with Budweiser, not root beer!),
A promotional Fix It Felix console that had my brother and I convinced it was actually from 1982, and the greatest game ever made. I speak of course of Sega's short-lived 1991 foray into live-action holography, Time Traveler. Let me be clear: you are not an arcade enthusiast if you haven't played this game. It's what's missing in you're life. The empty parts of your soul are just waiting to be filled with 4 inexplicably neon pieces of wood glued to a curved mirror and CRT screen, the bizarre backdrop to our bumbling hero's seemingly random travels through time. The inches-tall cowboy spends his time awkwardly crouching and examining the wrong part of the screen until you get hit in the head by some seriously bored Indians, or zapped by a mushroom that turns into an old lady in a nightie, or find yourself in the middle of a baseball game for like, no reason. A wizard in a fruity outfit gets really comically upset when you die (and you will. Change out a ten. You'll need it.) And a sexy lady sells you extra lives in the form of some cubes that you never see.
There are other reasons to stop by, like surprisingly delicious bar bites and the ever- changing taps, but Time Traveler alone is worth the trip.

Food is really good and so are the cocktails. The arcade area could do with a bit more variety. Me and my friend didn't see anything we really wanted to play. The service is good and bar staff are helpful

Barcade is a pretty cool arcade bar. A long list of beers on tap, and pretty good wings too. It's quite large, just not a lot of seating. Tons of games to play, with token machines scattered all over. Try to beat some of the high scores up on the boards and you'll be there for a while.

Awesome!!!

Awesome!!!

If you love old school videogames and beer, this place is a MUST. At least 30 different types kind of beers and tons of arcades

A good variety of games. All the games I played were 2 tokens (50 cents). Pretty good beer selection as well. Was busy at 5pm on a Saturday, but still barely had to wait for any of the games that I wanted to play.

Great games, great beer, great times. If you want a wave of nostalgia crossed with a wide variety of beer, go to Barcade. They have multiple pinball games, Simpson s, Ninja Turtles, Tron, Chrystal Palace, and much much more.

Super fun, always crowded, always waiting for a drink. My friend got kicked out for having a red bull in his pocket. I got kicked out for stumbling. They are hyper sensitive. Not my first choice of venue, but the games are fun.
