What more do you need Booze and Classic Video Games - another great addition to the Barcades that have opened in recent years. The original was in Brooklyn, now there's 2 in Manhattan, 1 in Jersey City. This place can be very busy at times and can ultimately feel cramped, but worth a stop and play.
Super fun place to hang out with your friends once in awhile. Vintage 1980s era video games at the original $0.25 price.
Came here for my husband's birthday this week. We had a really good time! If you don't get that nostalgic feeling from being in this place, either you don't have a soul, or you didn't have a childhood. I could've stayed on Crazy Taxi all night. Some of the buttons on the games stick, and others don't seem to register the coins, which is understandable of old machines like this. Either way, it was easy enough to get a table, and they allowed us to bring a cake so we could sing happy birthday. The only problem I had was the fact that the staff came to our table and took our food while we were up playing games. I had two orders of fries so that my friends and I could continue to drink and snack at our leisure. The fries were probably about half eaten out of each batch and all of our things were at the table, so I don't know why they thought that they should take our food. That's a huge irritation of mine because the way I look at it, they threw my money away. Plus I couldn't get anymore food because the kitchen had already closed. The bartender tried to fix it by giving us tokens, and I appreciated the gesture, but we can't eat tokens. Regardless, we still had a great time and will definitely be back!
Best bar in the world. Great beer, cocktails and you get to play games all night.
This place is pretty crowded after work. I like this location much better than the one on st Mark's because they have more variety of games. It gets too crowded though. Beers and food are at a good price too for the city.
I wanted to post a food pic but it looked so good I couldn't stop. The service was very welcoming and observant. Prices were good for how much you get. Similar to a place in Denver I loved.

Reasonably priced drinks and a large selection of old school cabinet games. My only complaint is that the cabinets required your to buy tokens to play. I think there is a better system that could be implemented where you receive tokens for buying drinks or something. I wasn't really a fan having to pay for drinks and then having to pay cash to get tokens.

I was to meet a group there. Couldn't find them. Staff not helpful, didn't even ask for a drink order.
If you want Chucky Cheese for adults, this is THE place for you. If you've grown out of Chucky Cheese, perhaps not so much. Instead of screaming kids playing video and such, you have adults doing the same this, with the extra bonus of being inebriated.
Fun spot. Food was a pleasant surprise as well. Good way to spend an evening.
Good beer selection and a solid selection of arcade games old and new. They rotate some games in and out to keep it fresh.
Great beer selection, excellent food, and the prices are extremely reasonable for Manhattan. My one and only gripe is that several of the arcade machines are in need of repairs.
Alot of old school games, even some I didnt know of like baby pac man. Food was a ok. Prices not horrible.

Great place to go and get hammered while enjoying the multitudes of different nostalgia inducing arcade games. I decided to try out one of their specialty beers, of which they have many to choose from a wall behind them. Very busy, but you will enjoy your time
What a brilliant concept!!! Old school arcade games and drinks!!! There is a lot this place could benefit from (better game maintenance, more bar space, more counter space,etc), but they are all contingent on more space, which is not possible when barcade crams so much greatness into such a snug-fit
Only four star due to popular machines being broke (quarter eaters) and sometimes long waits for a beer.
Took a friend who loves arcade machines. We had a good time with the games, and tokens were inexpensive. The food was the only downside, which I suppose is to be expected for bar food.

Awesome place for vintage gaming. Went on a Friday so it was super packed. Didn't get to try the food. Didn't get to try too many games but Mortal Kombat, and Primal Rage left side joysticks were working properly. Front door bouncer super nice didn't get his name but he's an amazing artist and very friendly. Bathroom is a graffiti artist dream.
Drinks: v nice
Food: I got the Southern style wings. I shared with 5 people to ensure I wasn't imagining. Tasted like water, no kind of seasoning at all! Heard the short rib grilled cheese is where it's at! Next time!

It was a blast playing old Sega games with my cousin! I was thrilled they also had mead there, and not just one, but two different types! Sadly, I received probably 3 ounces for $7 with most being ice (half of an 8 oz cup). I wouldn't exactly consider that worth it. If I was a baller I wouldn't care, but consequently it's out of principle too.
The bartenders play the music way too loud. It s deafening by the time 6pm comes, or there is more than 10 customers. My decibel app puts it around 95 with peaks above 100. Cant hear anyone or any of the games.
Other than that: Good beers. Games are rarely broken. The overall the selection isn t too great but there is enough to have some fun....if you can tolerate the loud music and screaming customers.
A really fun spot and concept. Perfect for a after work or nighttime activity, this place had some awesome vintage arcade games and activities. Lots of beer on tap and some fun looking cocktails, there is also so pretty great bar bites and the fried artichokes were stellar. Gets very busy so a table can be hard to come by but the bar had really efficient service and staffing to keep up.

Probably good for what it is supposed to be - a very sleepy bouncer insisted on carding me at the door, the place is extremely loud and it's impossible to sit at the bar withoit dudebros crowding around you to shout their orders at the bartender. But I mean, I recognize that this is for a certain crowd.

I wish I had more I could say to review this place on but within the 10 minutes I was at this bar i experienced the worst experience I ve ever had. Went in on a slow weekend night with about 4 friends. Some broke off to play the games while one was in the restroom. After he returns the bouncer accused him of throwing up in the restroom. I would ve left without a problem if they just told us they had to refuse service on the suspicion we were intoxicated. HOWEVER! When we asked the bouncer how he was so confident someone from our group was throwing up he said he was looking through the stalls to see who it was. EXCUSE ME BUT THIS IS COMPLETELY ILLEGAL! There is a reason you are not allowed to have surveillance in public restrooms it is considered harassment! When the manager intervened his immediate response was to call the police because we had told the bouncer he should not have been peeping in restroom stalls. I have never in my life experienced this sort of discrimination or indecency by an establishment. Don t spend your money here.

A bar with a large selection of beers and arcade games. While they have a good selection of games, many are very old, and they are missing some titles like time crisis and other driving games. Its a 3.5 for me (sadly i cant give half stars).
Games are anywhere between 25c and 50c to play.
Walk in. Go to bar. Order chicken and waffle grilled cheese. What you do after this is up to you, but you will need to do this first. Delicious fried chicken breast between waffles with melted cheese. Doesn't get better does it? Wait, it does, because it comes with a side of syrup for dipping. Perfect portion size as well, but I would suggest pairing it with Tetris shaped tater tots.
Along with that, you can play some fun retro arcade games. My top two were Tetris and Ninja Turtles...classic! Wash it all down with plenty of beer, they have a great selection. I went with an apple cider for something sweet which was nice.

This place is sweet, it has a lot of 80's video games, look them up at their website. I had a burger there, it was great. It gets crowded, so beware. They also have a large beer selection.

Awesome bar for someone who grew up in the eighties with video games. Very fun and nostalgic. You can have drinks and play all the old classic arcade games, and more...what more can you ask for

Great choice of craft beers, good bar food, lively atmosphere, and loads of classic video games including the legendary Sega Time Traveler hologram game that I first played 25 years ago in Blackpool. Take plenty of quarters!
Barcade has all the classics. Games not in best shape, but it was great to get to play them once more. Wings were delicious, drinks were good.
Crowded on a Friday night, but that's expected. The crowd is ideal for a 20 something, but rude. People just bumping into each other without an excuse me or pardon. Their soda was overall sweet and not fizzy enough. This is a much better place during the afternoon and for happy hour.
Definitely a place you need to visit. Staff are really friendly, good service and food is great. The retro arcades are awesome.
What more to say ... Beer and Games ... Friendly crowd, no matter how old you are ... you're a overgrown child drinking alcohol playing video games.

Interesting spot....music is eclectic, crowd is btw 24-36 age. No gimmicks and mostly a straight forward bar. If ur nostalgic about atari games...this would be a good spot.
