Love coming here on a random day to relax after work with a pretty solid beer selection, and some nostalgic games like Teenaged Mutant Ninja Turtles. Not only that, but Scott (one of the Bartender's) will remember you every time you go (I've gone for 3 years and it's always great to catch up with him, and to get his recommendations of the new beers that are being tapped).

The vibe is just like you imagined an adult video-game arcade to look like. Dim-lit, filled with neon, the sweet sound of quarters splashing into a video game cabinet, and random 8 bit sounds that would transport anyone back to a simpler time in the 80's and 90's. Amazing spot, and as long as I still live in NYC, I will go to this spot at least once a month ( at least!!)

Throwback to my childhood, such an amazing choise of games, its a unique experience and something that only people that bored on the 80`s can completely understand. I'll definitely go back there to play more Game when I will be in the city

Had such a blast ! Some games brought me back to my childhood and others i weren't really familiar with but overall it was very fun. Played games and had a few drinks. Check it out. Highly recommend for groups of friends/ family

The food and drinks were pretty good luck. The music was not louder then the games and the games while old was still pretty awesome to play they even had crazy taxi next to gunblads ny and frogger. You can even game and drink because they would put a tiny shelf for you to place it next to the arcade game you could be playing

I wish there were more kind of drinks though but that's about it but that's the only down side. I will be going back to chill and game.

Great classic videogames.

Great classic videogames.
This location larger than the 8th st location.
You need to purchase tokens to play from a machine, and a few games rotate out so there seems to be a new game every so often.
The bar food and drinks are hearty because you can build up a bit of heat playing.
They have a sit down racing game, and I never had to wait too long to play a game any time I have gone here.

Barcade is exactly what the name implies, a bar with arcade games galore. All the quarter game machines from your childhood can be found here. I loved the tater tots shaped in Tetris blocks, they are nice and crunchy as well as the wings that come with melted cheese on top/blue cheese for dipping. Low key bar with games and fun people.

The Chicken and Waffle Grilled Cheese is not worth $16.00. The menu says it's fried breast with extra sharp cheddar cheese, but I got chicken tenders and sprinkles of cheddar. The waffles came soggy, not crispy. And the maple Sriracha? Store-bought, high fructose corn-syrup blended with hot sauce. The chicken and waffle mix tasted fine but what was promised was not delivered. I do not recommend ordering this.

The food is bar food--I can';t really judge it though, as I only got an appetizer. A messy cheesy tater tots dish--not a lot was there, and they don't even give you utencils so..that's kind of bleck, especially cause it's their own arcade machines you're touching with your greasy hands. Dollars are turned into tokens(not quarters) ensuring that you have to come back or spend them all--I dislike that. The arcade is pretty awesome, but I wish they had more games.

If you're a 90's kid like me I don't think there is anything better than the juxtaposition of classic arcade games and adult beverages. Great staff, great beer selection and very reasonably priced arcade games makes for a great time for friends. If you're in the city and have a few hour to burn or just want to have a few drinks while playing Galaga this is the place to go.

Huge list of craft beers on tap, reasonable prices, and lots of unique arcade games. Barcade was also the perfect level of crowded while I was there- not empty but plenty of personal space, quick bar service, and I never had to wait to play a game.

Fun atmosphere with great happy hour specials. Bartenders were super nice and helpful; I usually don't like beer but they managed to find me one I actually enjoyed! Went with a group of 30 people and there was still plenty of room at the bar.

Loud in here. Tater tots are perfectly cooked. But if you're looking for someone, wouldn't you want to be able to hear them? Seems to me like a lot of people out there are looking for someone, but very few have the courage to really put their heart out there. That's where the beer they sell in here helps-- they have a lot of it and a good selection too.

Fun place to play some classic arcade games. The selection of games, as well as craft beers, is pretty extensive. It can get super crowded, so avoid the after work hours and opt for late afternoon/early evening in the weekend and you'll have run of the place. Wait staff seems kind of indifferent, but it's not a deal breaker.

Extremely crowded on the weekends and only one shooting game. Many of the buttons were stuck/not working on several of the games, so you would pay the money and they couldn't play the game.
A fun spot to grab a beer and walk around/hunt for random neglected games to play. The Williamsburg location is a bit better atmosphere, but overall this location is a decent spot.

Some fun games, but no soap in the bathrooms? This is twice now. Everyone has their dirty hands all over these sticky games, but there s never soap or hand sanitizer in the bathrooms. Brilliant.

The manager/female bartender made me the best old fashioned I've literally ever had. I wish that she would teach the other bartenders bc they made them poorly. The games are fun but a few were broken and ate my tokens. That old fashioned though

I definitely had fun here with my coworkers, pac man 4 way play was the best and reck it Ralph had me screaming I didn t think it would be that difficult lol. Food is okay . Can t wait to go back. Are minors allowed to come in just to play the arcade games?? I was thinking of bringing my kid.

I end up coming here every week during lunch. In addition to the awesome rotating craft beer selection they also offer some badass food. The food is a bit on the expensive side but during lunch hour you can get a beer and a sandwich with fries for just $12. They also make a really good burger which uses Pat Lefrieda beef. As for the games, they are mostly 80's and early 90's games. Checkout the SEGA hologram game and make sure to try the addicting and fun Firefighter game.
