I m very torn on the number of stars to give. 1 Star for a great beer list. 2 Stars for having lots of great games. Loss of one star because it was way too warm inside and there are no places to hang your jacket, so you just have to carry it around if you aren t lucky enough to get one of the few tables before you get there. I love this place outside of the Happy Hour timeframe. Just gets too packed.

One of my favorites with excellent food, often excessive in flavors and combinations. Does get quite crowded and the game variety could improve. Usually about 5 games that everyone is trying to play

I am really impressed with this place I came in to a warm welcome with a relaxed vibe as if no one is staring at you . I am not much of a drinker but they have a large selection on tap . As for the food I am not a fan of bar food but this place proved me wrong I got a lunch special for $15 and it took a little time but my gawd it was good everything was fresh like I was a eating some 5 star over price meal , I tip my hat to the chef .They have a large number of vintage arcade games and I felt I wanted to try them all . So I highly recommend stopping this place

This is the most fun bar that I've been to in NYC, and it's an absolute retreat for the 80s/90s kids. The arcade games are authentic & unfeigned as they truly make you feel nostalgic. The drinks were good and the food was delicious. Burgers were quite juicy and the chicken nachos were scrumptious.

Great beers. Awesome retro music. Huge selection of beers and good food. The arcade is so much fun and pretty cheap as well as. For $10 you get 40 tokens that can be enough for an hour or two of games

They are very thorough and cautious with covid guidelines which is great! When we got there though, the hostess was nowhere to be seen and we actually had to enter past the check in station to get someone's attention. Food was pretty good too. We went on a very slow night. Service was really slow. With two front of house employees and 6 clients, it took some effort to order our drinks. Hopefully business picks up so it will rejuvenate the staff and be the one vibrant hip place i always remember it to be

Got the second and third high scores on the Fix it Felix Jr game (from Wreck it Ralph :D )
The bathroom is full of graffitis, but actually clean :)

Large selection of beers on tap and always something new when I come back. Likewise, the machines change pretty regularly (they took away Life-force ;() apart from a couple of standards like Ms. Pac-Man that seem set in their spot. Food is pretty good, if a hair expensive, but you're probably not coming here for the food. Lots of different games and good to tolerable music make this one of my favorite spots.

Went on a Tuesday afternoon and we had the run of the place.

Bar selection was decent, and the food was excellent.

Games worked well enough, only one at my tokens, but its to be expected with games that old. All in all a really fun time.

Food could've been better. Service regarding staff attitudes were extremely dry. Games need to be updated. But was ok until one of the staff walked up to us while we were playing the games and enjoying ourselves just to tell us nastily that we couldn't eat food at the games (mind you my boyfriend pulled out a piece of candy) and then told us to wear our masks (mind you the mask dropped for a split second) very loudly. I feel like they were waiting to say something since we were being watched the entire time. I immediately left afterward. No tip and Wont be back.

Crowded but cute. Drinks were on point... Depending on who made them. Not sure what time you should arrive because by the time we got there 5:30ish it was already packed, no place to sit or hang our coat. Which was annoying since going straight after work and had an extra bag. I'll revisit again during the su.mer months

My go to fun hangout. Only thing missing is skeeball but building would have to be slightly bigger. Great vibe, unpretentious mellow/lively crowd, great music, legit bathroom graffitti, big beer selection & a couple of hard ciders, good food. Easy to reach via subway. (Safe area even late night) Doorman after 8pm or so, so bring a high quality fake ID kiddos and dont make trouble, lol. Arcade games take tokens, games all work, is fairly big selection. Enjoy!

This is a great place to start you're night, spend your night, or end your night. It's good for groups because it allows people to split up and rejoin throughout the night, and it's a good place for just two, there's a few two player games and watching friends play is amusing too. I've been here about three times and never had to really wait for a game, people move about, no one really hogs a machine. It's a but annoying to come during the winter because carrying your coat around is an inconvenience. They have a GREAT beer list, too, with some unusual and special selections.

Good selections of games and beers. But ive been there 4 times! All times you can say good luck getting to the bartender for a beer or snacks! Way too crowded with hipsters! Way better and more experience in the Brooklyn and downtown locations. This location need a bigger location to cater to the midtown crowd.

The drinks here are reasonably priced for the area and they have a huge selection of beers, but what's most impressive is the huge selection of vintage arcade games. Some of the more popular games (Donkey Kong, Mario Bros., Crazy Taxi) are hard to get a chance at, but there are a lot of less popular games which are every bit as fun. My personal favorite is the Atari lunar lander game. The best part is, almost all the games are just a quarter with a few 50 cent games scattered throughout. The machines are mostly clean and in good repair.

Great selection of 80s and 90s arcade machines that won't break the back. Most start around 25 cents and go up to 50. You can procure tokens but best to just bring some quarters. Beer selection is good, food was solid, and bartenders were willing to give you samples to help you choose exactly what you want to drink.

Best Barcade around. Perfect crust, good quality sauce, perfect amount of cheese and fresh toppings. Seriously, can't think of a single place that has a better pie. Ham and Pineapple rocks, Pepperoni is delicious and just tried the Pastrami (yes, pastrami and pickles with mustard sauce) was surprisingly good.

As an avid gamer, me and my girlfriend were thoroughly looking forward to playing some classic games and were expecting a welcoming and friendly atmosphere. Unfortunately we were greeted by the most abhorrent and rudest member of staff I've ever encountered in my life. He was in his late twenties or early thirties, had his cap on backwards, and clearly thought he was above working there. He never smiled, dragged his feet, muttered everything as though we'd offended him when he did bother to interact, and didn't even apologise when he gave us our food with no cutlery (something which we had to go up and ask for ourselves). He appeared put out by everything he had to do and shouldn't be anywhere near a customer service role. No matter how fun Barcade should be, this individual sucked all the life out of it with his disgusting attitude. I wish him well at the "The most miserable man in New York" awards.

Fun spot, lots of games. Almost all of them are classic arcade games with the exception of a Pac man battle royale game. The place is very clean and friendly. Games require tokens you need to purchase at token machines, so you may get stuck with a bunch of extra tokens

The best barcade I've been to (I've been to the Williamsburg location and the St marks one as weel).
Delicious barfood (and they find you if you are too busy playing frogger).
Had a company outting here and defeated the shredder...what more can you ask for?

Great craft beer selection and all the games you can imagine. It's just like the 80's, but if the kids gaming could drink. Great for groups. Also, major bonus, it's across the street from One Star.

Went on a Mon at aroun 3 and the bartender Dave was awesome. Had the chicken sandwich lunch special and it was felicious, esp considering they're a bar and not a restaurant. Otherwise kinda hard to screw up mixing booze and arcade games, they don't and I reccomend. Cheapest beer is $7, but you're in Chelsea so that's "cheap" I guess haha

Cheap arcade classics and quality craft beers, with a clever take on pub food makes Barcade a good stop. If you have the chance to duck in earlier in the day, you can enjoy some drinks and games in relative peace. The scene does tend to get louder and more crowded the later it gets. Happy Hour is nice, if not anything all too special. $1 off all drafts.

Great spot for a night out for a small group. The place does get crowded on the weekends and it gets difficult to move around and place some of the more popular games. There's a solid collection of games and most (if not so all) are 25 or 50 cents a game. Classics like pac man, joust, nba jam, metal slug, crazy taxi and Daytona USA are all there and much more. The bar has a good selection of beer and wine as well. Overall great spot

Great place to drink and eat something delicious and entertain yourself by playing arcade classics for a while. The cards are your own and I recommend keeping one for collection. At lunch there are good promotions.
