Most fantastic place and gardens and waterfall a must visit for anyone really fabulous
Such a beautiful day that I had here. One of the best place that I ever visited in Wicklow. I totally recommend a visit. Worth the price. It is less than one hour from Dublin city center. Very easy to get there by car.
Voted 3rd most beautiful garden in the world! Well done Powers court!
If a superb lunch with lashings of breathtaking views, peppered in rich history followed by a leisurely walk amidst spectacular gardens for desert is your thing... Then you Must visit Powers court.
I really think it has everything. Idyllic terraced area for eating gorgeous food (expect Large portions).
Good boutique shopping, wonderful garden walks steeped in history and just... Well, loads of niceness!
I believe the waterfall is worth a visit but haven't ventured that far yet.
Make sure not to rush your visit. Minimal 2hour visit... at least.
Look out for my friend Robin... He might join you for lunch... Like on your table!
I highly recommend Powers court as a faith-based, creation appreciating Irish destination. Enjoy!
Beautiful spot to get away and relax! Stunning views.
Fantastic place. Lacked a few features for improved accessibility for people in wheelchairs, less mobile or in our case, with a Buggy for our 2 month old baby. But was Amazing place to visit and explore.
Wonderful gardens, lingest herbaceous double border in the land. Stunning vista and views. Wonderful comeback story of a stately home that was burned out and is now restored to some splendour. Vast garden centre for garden enthusiasts
Absolutely amazing hotel! Went to celebrate a big birthday, because our original plans had to be cancelled, bedrooms amazing ! Food also amazing! Will be going back !
Garden very expensive... But overall good experience
Lovely house and surroundings, much to see in the area, great for walkers, golfers and sightseers
Powerscourt is one of Ireland's most beautiful spots rich in history and majestically sitting in among the Wicklow mountains. With so much to see between the garden and waterfall you are sure to have a very relaxing day in nature. Perfect for family's or a little picknick with friends and you can enjoy the stunning scenery on the way!
The gardens are very cool, the truth is that they are very entertaining since there are several curious areas, such as an oriental garden or a pet cemetery.
The building is really the least, and the interior is a bit depleted at the tourist level.
Always a good place for lunch. Even better if you can get a window seat with a view of the gardens and the Sugarloaf.
The house is a nice old manor house, but didn't knock my socks off. The garden or rather the gardens are beautiful and very varied and invite you to a very long stay.
Perfect gardens, went on may, rhododendrans were stunning
This was one of my favorite places we visited in Ireland. Perfect to spend an afternoon wandering the grounds and there is some lovely shopping inside the house (for yourself or for gifts) and a cafe. I would come back on a future trip! Wonderful place for getting some good photos of each other and the scenery too.
Beautiful garden that is really worth visiting. Otherwise, just a sight that requires a lot of admission
Great place for a day out, although it would have been much improved if they offered afternoon tea on the terrace. Lovely area with lots of history and different directions you can go to explore
Nice spot for a lazy walk with kids. Beautiful gardens
A great place to take photos and look at some amazing gardens. Definitely get the audio tour - it includes the juicy gossip hinted at in the video before the tour. Leave some time for shopping in the gift stores...I'd say you probably need about 3hrs total.
Lovely place. 8 euros with student card and 9 with standard fee. A little bit expensive in my opinion but worth it.
Great day, great history to the grounds gardens are beautiful
Beautiful gardens and a great place for lunch with fab Avoca salads
Beautiful house and gardens. Nice family walk around
Beautiful area.
To eat, it is exorbitant compared to what is proposed.
Example: 7.50 euros a potato leek soup in a bowl.
Home made, but still ...
Stunning location and beautiful garden. We attended a wedding here, fabulous!!
Just beatiful gardens! Really nice to go and walk all around.
Fabulous gardens to roam around but not great if you have a buggy or wheelchair...lovely food and shopping to be had too with avoca on site
Beautiful gardens and great gift shop! Not cheesy gifts but quality made irish products
Amazing gardens, very well kept. There is also a restaurant to lunch. I absolutely loved it. Will visit again.
The history and the magnitude of this place is stunning. To think that it was owned by one wealthy family is boggling to the mind.
Great property with a beautiful garden (yes, the garden is very impressive!)
A beautiful garden in summer, it delights with greenery. It was a great b & b owner very nice. I would recommend there for peace of mind, nature, breath to finally feel what is the wind, sun and good cake and coffee on the terrace :)
Visited on study abroad trip in 2017 and wow! So much more than what I expected. Incredibly peaceful and serene. Not exactly sure what ticket prices were at the time as it was included in my trip but I know it was affordable. There was so much to see, we didn't get to walk it all. Could have been here a whole day. There was a cute little gift shop inside and a small place to eat lunch in the front. Would recommend to anyone who wants to see the beauty of Ireland.
Excellent views of the surrounding country side beautiful gardens great peaceful Japanese garden
Powers court House+Gardens is a must see in Co.Wicklow. The gardens are truly spectacular and one can take the adult audio tour which explains all you need to know. There is a lovely shop stocking lots of craft items+food items. Stop for bite to eat in cafe serving light lunch and lots of tasty food.
What a beautiful atmosphere for Christmas. Lovely experience. Fab food to buy. Gift ideas etc.
Beautiful gardens, great shops, stunning views - be sure and grab a coffee on the terrace in Avoca...
Very pretty, but praised a bit too much. At least in my eyes. Of course, the parks are very beautiful and, above all, spacious and versatile, but the Herrenhaux and the whole "hype" around Avoca is incomprehensible to me. But who likes it.
Nice place to visit on a sunny day. You can enjoy the garden and relax on the grass. Worth a visit but 10 entrance fee is a bit too high of a price in my perspective, therefore only 4 stars.
Sunshine
Vista of past generations of paradice.lovely to see so many enjoy.3rd best garden in ireland.1st in my books.
Large property.
Beautiful park with sumptuous gardens.
Ideal for strolling.
Love the views as I do a lot of photography. Also great for lunch in Avoca. The garden centre is also great a I buy a lot of plants there in the past
Absolutely loved it.. from the moment we arrived till we left.. the surroundings, atmosphere, furnishings, welcoming foyer, reception and staff, our room so beautiful and comfortable, food was so good,...a beautiful stay.. thank you
The views are exceptional, even on a cloudy day. You will be hard put to find a similar scene, except in a Hollywood backlot. Restaurant does not give access to the grounds, not even the terrace, which is bad.
Beautiful spot , lovely food and unique pieces to shop.
I was there for the first time in December. It got the impression. I came back now thinking that everything would be blooming and even more beautiful. However, no. Poor flowers. Dirty water with rubbish in the fountain. I recommend the Japanese gardens in Kildare.
This place is so nice!
I recommend it a lot of.
If your into gardening this is for you...Fantastic Japanese gardens and views over with slow hills
One of the most beautiful and zen place I ever come!
Please take your own food because it's really really expensive
Nice garden for a 45-minute walk.
Unfortunately the Estate cannot be visited indoors.
Very beautiful place with huge swing, many trees from all over the world and a Japanese garden
Amazing view of this place, nice gardens, recommend for visit
The place is just wonderful, a huge park with trees, flowers and fountains, you want it here!
You can take an audio guide or visit it in free style according to your convenience. Take an umbrella just in case !? There is something to eat on site and leave with products from the region. The little more the landscape around and the small village.
Expected more tulips. Good place for a walk, or relax in the shades of trees and spending time with family
Fantastic place in the wicklow mountains. Great cafe and gift shop. Unreal scenery.
Beautiful place to visit. But it's a rip off with price. They charge card by number of passengers. Park up and walk.
