Love the experience! Great mansion with very well kept area, parks, gardens. Came for tulips experience in april.Amazing but too little tulips,i wanted more! They have fantastic shop, gallery upstairs and cafe & restaurant as well.Nice toilets. Varied gardens: japanese, italian, little tower to access
It is very beautiful and has a terrace with an excellent view.
It is a fabulous place to visit. For family's and couples alike. Lovely restaurant with lovely menu. The gardens are fabulous and so is the castle. Beautiful place for walk or just to chill out. You have to pay to go around the gardens but it's worth it. Bring your
Wonderful place. There was a whole morning around mid-September for an educational trip with the school and it was wonderful. I think it was my favorite of all the places I visited. I hope to return sooner or later because it was a beautiful day.
Lovely hotel. Lovely staff. Poor quality and range of food. Was married and there for our honeymoon given the circumstances. Hotel was aware of that and no welcome drink offered so rather disappointed with that. Disappointed.
I went here with a group of friends and we had lunch in Avoca then strolled around the gardens for a good few hours - it was delightful. Great day out for all. Only 7 for the adult ticket. Highly recommended.
A proper scenic part of Ireland in County Wicklow. As a foreign tourist I got the bus from Dublin centre to Enniskerry village, from there was a simple 10 to 15 minute walk to the estate.
The estate itself is truly a marvel, as it's kept in top condition by it's staff. Once you pay the entry fee you can go into the estates gardens.
The amount of different places in these gardens is stunning, Japanese Gardens, a castle tower, pet cemetery and just great views all make the admission fee well worth it.
So nice garden to visit. U can spend all ur day there. The japanese garden is of great beauty. A visit is needed at each season. A nice walk for the little legs as well. Price is a bit high, but this garden is definitely well looked after... nice to have the cafe besides as well, the hot chocolate after this was a nice conclusion for our walk
One of the nicest Stately Homes to visit in Ireland
Wish I could of spent the whole day here! A must see place!
Very impressive would have loved to visit the inside of the house
A beautiful garden and house, and avoca do some nice for too
Get transported to a different time and imagine yourself as royalty
The perfect way to spend money!! Lovely surroundings and views from the cafe were wonderful. Will be interested to see how the distillery develops.
A beautiful place for a family picnic at the weekend. Very varied nature and many amazing views.
Very nice for families and groups. Lovely scenery, great variety of plants and trees. Found the giant redwoods particularly interesting.
This place is rated very high by thousands of people and I must say this place does not disappoint. The whole place is very stunning. Had a memorable experience here.
Some of the most stunning gardens I have ever seen! So worth the trip.
Love place to take the family, the grounds are exquisite and the restaurant and shop are a must to visit.highly recommend
Amazing place, very nice just like heaven. I recommend it very much. If you come to Dublin or Bray don't miss this place.
Powerscourt Gardens are picturesque and marvelous, a national treasure.
What a beautiful place
The gardens are grandiose
The castle is filled with nice shops and a restaurant avoca
Love the garden center, the Avoca restaurant, and the many great stores here. The house and gardens are lovely too!
Disappointed to hear that you've to pay to visit a natural beauty spot, eg the waterfall! They try make money out of anything in so disappointed. There'll be a charge to climb the Sugarloaf next!!!!
Very nice. With a stroller you can also make a good round.
Lovely family day out. Gardens are amazing.
10 for an adult is a bit expensive for viewing the gardens.
- lovely place with great history.
- good food & shop of Avoca.
- but very expensive entrance & food...
Really to cast. I could never walk these grounds. It would take so long. Magnificent but too vast. Lots of shops.
This is amazing place i like it and i want to aome again
Gardens are stunning all year round and visited by a huge number of visitors. They are full of precious plants from all over the world. There are also plenty of shops offering hand made and bio products with a great gardening centre.
i brought my two grandchildren to Powerscourt to visit Santa. I had not seen them for six months and i thought it a perfect place to bring them. I will never forget the look of disappointment on their little faces when i told them that Santa couldnt see them because they hadnt an appointment.I was told in an uncaring manner to try later. We had come from Dunboyne , so it was not possible to go back in the late afternoon to maybe see him. So a big thank you to the organisers of Santa for ruining my two little Angels christmas.
We spent a good afternoon in the gardens. The entrance is not for free.
A must for every shopper . A fantastic place to shop.
Very beautiful site. Very pleasant. Beautiful gardens. A must see.
Breathtaking grounds with a lovely walk. Check your path first for buggies but there is a route for that too.
Very beautiful garden... Listen to the Audio guide for interesting history...
Magnificent - and that description doesn't do it justice. Spectacular gardens, stunning vistas and everything you could want for a day out. The mix of people and ages was a credit to the place. Some classy (if a tad expensive) shops, a design studio complex, an eco-centre, directed mainly at children but being enjoyed by all ages and a lovely little restaurant with a veranda for sunny days
Verdict - We loved it!
Beautiful place, excellent for jogs, morning walks, meditation, yoga, etc. Very well maintained.
Excellent. Movie gardens, great food and the best dollhouse display I've ever seen.
The gardens are beautiful but remember wicklow is the garden of ireland and with this place being so packed with guests there are many gardens in ireland which should not be over looked
Although the staff at the Reception desk are nice and helpful, we can t say the same about the shops. The women at the till are not friendly, nor welcoming. We even got a bit of an attitude from an older sale person at the food shop who was particularly cold (we visited on 14 September mid day). I asked for an extra paper bag and she didn t seem to like that. We spent 24 with bread, cake and sweets. No thanks from her.
Very nice place, ideal for family time, will high recommended.
Very nice gardens. The facility is well maintained. A magnificent flower garden in every season.
Powerscourt Estate is beautiful. You can visit Powerscourt gardens. Avoca restuarant, Blarney Woolen Mills Shop, gifts and book shop. Also on the estate another gift and plant shop. Also there is a hotel on the grounds. Plus it is right beside the beautiful village
Definately worth a visit, walk around, visit the Japanese gardens and enjoy the sculptured gardens !
I loved these gardens. The inside of the mansion is nothing to see - very crowded with tourists. There is a nice cafe but nothing to write home about. The gardens are beautiful - especially the Japanese garden down the steps.
Love this place it's just beautiful very busy to really enjoy it however there is a river walk just around the corner and that's very relaxing.
One of the most beautiful places ive ever been to. Worth every penny. So relaxing and beautiful
Wonderful garden, you can spend a day here and enjoy the beautifully decorated haredens and ageold trees. The japanese garden is amazing as is the rosegarden. The earlier you arrive the less people you have to share this beauty with.
The beauty of this place is undescribable. You need to see it with your own eyes. Totally recommend it.
Very nice! Even if it rained it was really beautiful!
Beautiful exploring there with the family and there is a lot to see.
I liked Japanese garden and And beautiful flowers and scents of them.
Entry fee could be lower.
Loved it though!
Very nice garden a little cold in winters but in summer it must be superb. There is also something to eat
Visited on a summers day. The grounds are immaculately kept. Ideal for a leisurely stroll in some really nice surroundings. Japanese garden is especially worth a visit. I would say this is one of the best presented stately home gardens I have visited.
