I had the opportunity to stay at the Ritz Carlton and had superior service throughout my 4 day stay. Blake at the front desk and all of the other employees of the hotels did a tremendous job of making us feel welcome and comfortable to say the least!!!!

Was greeted by valet who was friendly and accommodating. Was upgraded rooms at check in as well as was given champagne to start off the night. Was a issue with the bill but they quickly fixed it and realized it was an error. Would recommend just wish I had a room with a better view! All and all great experience

My absolute favorite place to stat when we visit DC. Staff is so great and turn down service makes my day. You can always catch a cab or the metro right outside. Who wouldn't love a hotel attached the the largest shopping center near DC.

Love, love this hotel. Everyone was very helpful & accommodating, from the concierge desk, to bellmen, to restaurant staff, to housekeeping. The room was inviting & bed very comfortable. Impeccable place and service.

The best Ritz Carlton we've ever been because of the PEOPLE WHO WORK at their hotel in Pentagon City! All Ritz hotels have nice rooms & amenities. People who work there are very professional & cater to their guests' needs. At the Ritz at Pentagon City, we highly commend Virginia T. & Jennifer Q. for their exceptional work ethics, going above & beyond, and by simply being genuinely nice, sincerely willing to help us to make our stay in Washington DC a special one.

Virginia T., from concierge recommended and booked us tours that are more private so we can make the most of our stay. Her restaurant recommendations are excellent. She is not just a concierge performing a "booking agent's" task. She is a gracious hostess who loves Washington DC and would like to present it to her guests in the most impeccable manner. She made sure we had umbrellas & Metro tickets when we go out, to ensure we are well equipped when we explore the city. She understood practicality and did not present options that are not worth considering. She follows up with us to make sure we enjoyed our day. Her moves are not calculated but very candid & genuine. We see how she helps other guests with the same enthusiasm, vigor & sincerity. When we hesitantly attempted to take the Metro to DCA for our departure, she arranged for our transportation to the airport on the spot to make things easier for us. She truly has a mission to help.

When we checked in, we were told that we will not have a roll away bed in our room due to fire codes. We were disappointed because when we booked our room by phone we were quoted a rate plus the fee for the roll away bed. Just like any front desk person, this lady told us "sorry" with a smile, and that's it. She did her job just what is expected of her but it lacked the willingness to help.

When we went to our room, it was tight for a family of 4. We went down to the front desk and spoke with another front desk staff, Jennifer Q. She was VERY NICE & understood our preference to have my 2 young kids to be in 2 separate beds. We told her that my son has eczema and needs to have feather-free bed. She took the time to find a suite that will accommodate our needs. She showed it to us first to make sure we like it. She was very professional in presenting to us the upgrade rate to ensure we understood the rate increase. She made sure all the feather pillows were replaced in the suite and arranged to have all our luggage transferred from the small room to our suite. She left a very nice note to my kids wishing them the best time in DC. She gave my son words of encouragement in dealing with his eczema. She is such a genuine & sincere host. She was not a mere front desk person performing tasks per her job description. Jennifer IS A GENUINE & GRACIOUS HOSTESS, who loves her job and loves making people happy.

We would also like to commend Ben, one of the doormen. He just does not open doors or help carry things for guests. He is more than that. He is a gracious host who sincerely welcomes the Ritz Carlton guests with a genuine greeting & smile.

Another employee we would like to commend is Ed B. of Bell Service team. He is another genuine person who is willing to help and make guests feel at home & welcome. He sincerely would like to make things easier for the guests by providing assistance going an extra mile.

We thank Ritz Carlton, Pentagon City, for hiring exceptional employees who made our Washington DC visit a truly special one. Please extend our gratitude to Virginia, Jennifer, Ben & Ed!

Great hotel for a conference. However, it was absolutely freezing in the conference room. It seemed like they were running the air conditioning at full blast despite the fact that our event was in December.

Comfortable stay; however housekeeping not so adequate. Did not have washcloths left for a shower.
Bath tub is dated, bathroom very small.
Parking is not free...you do have an option to valet or park overnight at the Pentagon city mall.

There is a lot of foot traffic in the lobby.

I know it's the Ritz and to expected, but had a weekend getaway. The staff was immensely courteous, breakfast buffet was just right and room made our cares disappear for at least one night. Took advantage of the weekend special, which included breakfast and parking. Wow what a deal, looking forward to returning.

I attend a conference here last weekend. The staff was top rate. The conference room was great. No noise leaked in from anywhere else. It was well lit and It was comfortable. The morning breakfast was a combination of wonderful pastries, boiled eggs, oatmeal, and juices, coffee, and tea. They provided afternoon refreshments as well.

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The decor was a little overdone for my tastes. I would rather have had a dedicated charging station rather than golden mirrors and picture frames. There were however plenty of outlets.

My biggest complaint: in this day and age, who doesn't give free wifi to their guests?! Every dinky little cheap hotel does and the Ritz charges $10 a day. That's just silly to nickel and dime your guests like that when they're already paying a high rate for a room already.

They also charge a $40 a day parking fee, which due to a happy mistake, I avoided. I parked in the mall parking garage. My total for 2 days was $36, which was much more reasonable. I called when I realized the mistake and the parking garage was ok with it as long as I parked on the uppermost level. (otherwise I would have been towed for being there more than 24 hours )

Lastly, the hotel needs a proofreader for the guest info books in the rooms. See pic below. "Public" is not the same as "pubic". lol

I was a little disappointed when they have decided to take off the swimming pool as they decide extend to yoga room. But I still enjoyed their sauna and steam room, however, I wish they have more toiletries available. Also, I personally feel that they can be even better on the interior design for luxurious feel. I was staying at the clubhouse level, it has a nice view and the food and service was amazing.

We stayed at this hotel during a family trip for a ceremony at Arlington. As a Marriott gold member, we received an upgraded king room (or so they said). This is a very nice hotel, typical of a Ritz. The service desk was very helpful and the room was very quiet. they have a nice bar on the first floor, but as expected, it is quite expensive. It is located adjacent to a shopping center which connects directly to the Metro, so cabs, etc. are not necessary.

The price was reasonable and we were very comfortable there.

A great hotel all around. The customer service was awesome and every member of the staff I interacted with was professional, helpful, and courteous. Two stops from Reagan on the metro and the hotel entrance is directly at the top of the escalators at the Pentagon City stop. Thanks!

This simply does not live up to the Ritz brand. This is really a Marriott, which is fine, but it should be marketed as such. The only sad part is that it is worse than a Marriott because Platinum members don't even get lounge access.

What s not to love here! Staff is very friendly and caters to your every need! Rooms are very nice and offer Asprey brand toiletries from London. Surprisingly, they also have a Nespresso machine in the rooms for a bright cup of coffee in the morning! The exercise room is very nice and offers changing room with lockers in addition to sauna and steam rooms! I had a spa field day in there!! In addition they also had private showers in there too! Upon going up to your room, they offer 3 types of fresh water lightly flavored with either lemon, lime or strawberry as a refresher. Our room faced the Air Force monument and Pentagon. It s also attached to the Pentagon City Mall which was great. All top drawer stores and international stores from Italy, Germany and the like! Starbucks and a bunch of food places in their food court too. Many restaurants to choose from within walking distance of the hotel. Train is right outside the door and you re only a few stops from downtown DC! Perfect lovely stay here!

Very nice, as expected. Not insanely luxurious but many details were notably better than the average hotel. Furniture, tv, Nespresso coffee machine, and bathroom stood out. No fridge in the room was a bummer though.

Great, great, great location. Attached right to the mall and in the midst of several eateries. Incredible service. The beds were super comfortable and the fitness floor was awesome. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay!

Great rooms and an even better staff! I accidentally left my charger behind and Loss Prevention, Samson in particular, provided fantastic assistance in getting it to me as soon as possible.

Have been doing Christmas brunch here for almost 20 years, it never disappoints. The booking process this year was a little more difficult, had to submit credit card authorization this year prior to reservation being confirmed. Used to book on Open Table but guess they have had issues with people not showing in the past so I get it. The place is always well decorated and the food is generally well prepared with a great selection of breakfast and lunch/dinner entrees along with a fabulous raw bar.

The Ritz-Carlton is a great location being approximately a 10 minute drive from the airport (DCA). The room is spacious and comfortable and the staff is very friendly and pleasant. My girlfriend and I are very excited to return for a personal trip in the near future.

Very disappointed. Called the hotel to ask a specific question about a pull out sofa for my toddler and was told any room with a King bed had them. My wife called back to double check with our reservation number, and was told no. So I called back and asked for a manager, the person that answered the phone said she could help. She said no, they do not have pullouts. So she said no only the suites. So much for service resolutions.
