I enjoyed enjoyed staying here. It's attached to the mall and right behind the hotel is LA Fitness. It's a prime location surrounded by tons of restaurants.
We loved staying here. The moment you arrive they make you feel right at home. When we checked in. the Front desk manager Dwayne was super nice. They gave us a complementary glass of champagne for each my husband and I and gave us a newly renovated room on the 18th floor. All the staff is very friendly and couldn't have treated us better. We definitely recommend it and will be back.
What's to say, it's the Ritz! The unparralled service, that you'd expect. Rooms well appointed and immaculately maintained - especially for an older building. The ladies and gentlemen make you feel like royalty, even if you are a blue color kinda dude who splurged. If you can, I highly recommend it.
I would like to give a special thanks for Samson Aderonmu of Pentagon City for his outstanding service. I recently stayed in your hotel and had left a very special, personalized blanket in the room. It was a blanket that dedicated my beloved late father. I called the hotel and was transferred to Samson for assistance. He immediately had my item located (room 1412) and told me that he would have it shipped to me complimentary. It arrived within 3 days with no problem. I am so grateful for his kind heart and professional service. This blanket meant so much to me, that I lost sleep over not having it. However, thanks to Samson, I can sleep again with the blanket being back in my company. Thank you so much Samson for your GREAT customer service! God Bless You!!
Also, the server in the Club House (she has an accent) whose name I forget was also excellent. She went above and beyond helping to make sure everyone received special services. Thanks you so much for making our stay enjoyable.
This is a GREAT hotel with very good customer service. I would definitely stay again and recommend to my friends and family.
Stayed for a conference. The staff was so nice and friendly. The room was huge but the bathroom was a bit small. It was nice being attached to the mall.
Love staying here! The staff is very friendly. We always get the breakfast included with out stay and the hostess is so lovely and even remembered us after 2 years!
The restaurant and lobby of the hotel are beautiful. The restaurant is a great place to go for a coffee and a snack, especially if you get the table in front of the fireplace.
I enjoyed my stay at the Ritz. There was a slight problem with the heat but they came and fixed it pretty quickly. Its also in a good location with an attached mall, close to DC, and the airport.
I ve been to many ritz Carlton s and other very good hotels and this one is not good. When you are paying a ridiculous amount you are expected a certain service. We cannot get service for the simplest things. It s a hard time to even order room service and we are given attitude. Go to the ritz in Washington DC. This one is horrible. The staff is rude and what you are given is not worth it. Also the atmosphere is very average. Not a typical ritz atmosphere
Stayed here for the first time and can't say enough good things about it! All of the staff were so friendly, and I felt very welcomed. Room was in great condition, and the bed was extremely comfortable. Ordered room service for an early dinner and got up to me within 10-15 minutes when the lady on the phone said 25-30. Can't wait to go back!
Second best hotel I've stayed at. They are used to private or really picky guests, and not fond of anyone taking pictures of hotel. Their back door enters the mall! You can see the Pentagon and air force memorial, depending on room location. Rude valet made me cry. The desk kept asking what I wanted to make up for it. After saying nothing 3 times, I told them I wanted them to make him be nice! they offered to waive parking fees. I replied, " that's fine if you want to do that, but it won't make me feel better, and went up to room to freshen up and go again. Later about 9:30, I called down for polish remover, as everything closes at 9 pm!, Wyatt apologized that they didn't have and he couldn't get it for me be ause everythi mg closes at 9pm. Is there something else, I heard what happened earlier, and I'd like to find a way to make up for it. So since I kept just missing pool open (8?Am to 9pm). I asked Wyatt if they had any emergency pool openings (while laughing), he said "hang on". Less than a minute later, he asked how long I wanted the opening. I said just 15-25 minutes, enough to relax to sleep. He said, I'll be there in 5 minutes. Take your time and come down when ready. I'll be there waiting!!! What??? I certainly didn't have a club room, so I was shocked that he would do that. I was so happy I did a lil happy dance. Then I changed as fast as I could and got to swim, with the view of city while he supervised me for protection. WOW! The pool was warm and clean, and just what I needed. I wrote him a letter with chocolate and cash, and tried to give himat check out but he was not in, was unable to Thank him one last time . If you go there, tell him you heard he is the best! Also another front desk man and valet were excellent every time I saw them. Note though..They are not used to friendly, fun people and are strict with security!
Nicely appointed, clean room overall. But the air conditioning wasn't working very well so the room was somewhat stuffy and there was a moldy smell in the corner of the bathroom. The walls are thin and the next door neighbors could hear us talking and vice versa.
One highlight of my stay was the gym, which is big with an unusually large variety of gym equipment. A full body workout with weights and machines is possible. Towels and cold water are available. The locker room is large and very spacious. The gym has the feel of a full fledged health club. However, the air conditioning was not working well in the gym either. So it was definitely a little warmer than expected.
Nice hotel in a good location. Watch out for inaccurate billing and difficulty in getting it resolved. My family did not feel as welcome as other affluent looking guests.
It's an incredibly beautiful and luxurious place. Honestly a little too service oriented for me. If you want to feel like true royalty then look no further. However, if the idea of a maid coming by your room to see if you want chocolate or pillows fluffed weirds you out, then you (and me for that matter) will be uncomfortable.
Central location with exceptional access to metro and other transportation services as well as the Mall. Very good amenities and services. Closeness to Reagan National is a plus as well.
Incredibly friendly staff, I mean way above and beyond most places. Huge TVs in the rooms, great conference/reception areas. What I'm saying is, this place rocks.
Hotel was nice but not quite as nice as I might have expected from a Ritz Carlton. You can find some great deals on last minute booking here though. The location is also pretty great. It is part of a major shopping center and the is a metro station right outside the door for easy access to the rest of the DC area.
Absolutely no better place to stay! Proximity to the mall, the Pentagon, subway, airport or even the highway can't be beat. Well, maybe it can because the staff is as amazing...everything from Ben's warm welcome at the door to Micheal checking on you as he checks you in. The Ritz is the only guaranteed friendly thing in DC.
The food in the Ritz restaurant was good and the hotel's location is perfect for travellers. Near the airport, mall, Metro, and nearby restaurants. Great security.
Hotel was nice if not dated. all services were basically non existent. Valet lied and said there was no way to self park. In the middle of a pandemic last thing I want is a valet touching my car no offense to valet drivers . The guy was not wearing any gloves etc.
Convenient location, however, the valet staff was not willing to accept a truck, desk staff was rude and arrogant, and the hotel charged my card twice for the weekend that I stayed.
Great location on the metro. Amazing service, typical of the Ritz brand. They don't have a spa but if that's not your thing it is a great place to stay
@ritzcarltonpentagoncity 5-STARS for THE MOST AMAZING Presidential suite and the wonderful staff (Anna, front desk manager, and Leanna Lee, guest relations coordinator) From the moment we stepped out of our car, we were treated wonderfully by EVERYONE. the club lounge is an absolute must We had the pleasure of staying in the Presidential suite- 1 1/2 bath, living room, full kitchen, soaking bath, double sink, queen bed, 2000 square feet of an absolutely amazing suite. This might be my favorite hotel- EVER!!!! I CANNOT SAY ENOUGH WONDERFUL THINGS.
Excellent place right at the metro. Have everything you need right there. Traditional great service at this place. Bus and metro access right nearby don't hesitate to choose this place if you have Pentagon business.
The rooms themselves are nice but nothing spectacular, however the staff and location more than compensate for that! The staff of this hotel go above and beyond to make guests feel special and welcome. I love it here!!
I am contacting the corporate office regarding the poor service and overall poor experience at your hotel in Pentagon City. I personally was offended from the moment I entered the hotel. I encountered a rude staff who did not promptly assist me with checking into my room. I then encountered a rude female Hispanic manager who informed me that I did not pay enough for my room even though I paid $428 plus another $125 for which I was billed after I checked out. She essentially told me that if I did not like it I could leave. I usually stay at Hilton hotels or Marriott s however I decided to spend New Years Eve at your hotel due to the wonderful things I had heard regarding the luxury afforded at your hotel s. This hotel and experience was anything but luxury. First your television is outdated. There was no dvd, blue-ray player in the room. You advertise videogames but there was simply a controller for a system that I have never heard of. The room left much to be desired as the carpet was greatly in need of updating. And last but not least the staff was extremely unhelpful. I have had better service and more amenities at a Comfort Suites in PA!
Had a business meeting over breakfast at the Fyve Restaurant Ritz Carlton Pentagon City. Food and service was excellent. Quiet environment, upscale clientele. Can't beat their standard Eggs Benedict. Would visit there again for sure.
Best place to stay in the D.C. area. Great location in close proximity to the city. Also is directly connected to a mall with plenty of dining and shopping destinations.
I have never experienced such excellent service. Within the first 10 minutes, I was greeted by 6 hotel members that took care of every question I had before I could even ask. I'm slated to stay for a week and look forward to the rest of my stay just based on the first day I've been here.
