I didn't spend a lot of time there. I work nearby so I went into the lobby, showing someone where it was and taking them there. From what I saw, it was a nice place, but I don't have much information to offer aside.

I had brunch at the Ritz-Carlton. Try the baked eggs they're pretty awesome! The service was amazing and every need or consideration was taken care of immediately. It is of course, a little pricey, but that's the Ritz.

Fantastic service and experience, as always. Shortly after we settled into our room, we were treated to a bottle of Prosecco and chocolate-covered strawberries. Super clean room, although I wish we had the opportunity to stay in one of the more recently updated rooms.

Stayed here on a business trip one time. Beautiful room, very clean and spacious. The service is impeccable! The lobby and bar on the roof top is just beautiful! I also really love their breakfast, fresh squeezed orange juice is amazing! The hotel is also connected to the mall! Which makes it very convenient when the weather is bad!

Beautiful scenery. We had a deluxe suite that had a spectator view. The staff was courteous as well. Unfortunately we couldn't find the sign to place on the door for privacy so we did receive a couple door bell rings prior to our requested late check-out. Otherwise the stay was great. Would certainly recommend it.

Beautiful hotel! Staff and management are super friendly and helpful. Location is awesome right on the Magnificent Mile! Lots of shopping, restaurants, sightseeing close by and directly adjacent.

Everything about the Ritz-Carlton screams luxury. The lobby is beautiful and the staff are so friendly from the moment you arrive. If only every company was run this well. I wasn't the biggest fan of having to take an elevator to the 12th floor lobby and then another bank of elevators to get to my room, but that's just the way it is. We upgraded to an executive suite and it was fabulous. Great views of the Hancock building and a couple views of the lake. I love you Ritz-Carlton. Can't wait to get back!

As like most other Ritz locations the rooms are beautiful, service was top notch and you always wish you could stay longer. The Lounge was bigger than most other Ritz Lounges, has a great view and the food was more than just tiny bites. Billy was really nice and took great care of us. I also love the location as it's one block from all the shopping on Michigan Ave and about a 25 minute walk from Navy Pier.

This hotel is beautiful. The room we stayed in had glorious view of the lake, the Hancock, and really made staying in downtown Chicago look gorgeous! The food in their restaurant is seriously delicious, particularly the breakfast. Staying at the Ritz makes you feel like you're rich and famous. Would do it again.

Fantastic service, great location, fully furnished rooms with nice decors. This hotel deserved a 5-star rate because of its amazing services and reliable staff. These guys are really one of the best, and I would be honored to recommend their services to all. Indeed, a wonderful and comfortable place to stay! Very amazing!

Nice!

The Ritz-Carlton Chicago, is the best hotel experience in the city. I would even venture to say in the nation. They treat my family with respect and dignity every time I go there. The vegetable well-appointed guest rooms and the food is phenomenal.

Terrible experience. I have never had such a rude manager effectively kick us out of the hotel for wanting to have our daughter swim in the pool. This is a poorly run facility - absolutely not family friendly. Stay far away.

We attended an anniversary celebration here. The decor was lovely. The drinks were tasty.

The only confusion was about the table service. I never knew who my server was, who to order from, pay, etc.

I thought that valet was a nightmare. It was confusing and expensive. We left our car, got a ticket, went upstairs had 2-3 drinks, returned to valet, saw that our car was still trapped, paid almost $40 and left. It would have been cheaper and easier to just take an Uber.

Stayed in the lakeside suite for two nights. Highly disappointed. The vents constantly blew dust and the room had an old moldy smell to it that we couldn't get rid of. The place is outdated, and the staff is not attentive whatsoever. We've stayed at hotels for much less, and were treated amazingly, so it's sad to see that people are careless at the Ritz. Asked for the price to be upgraded to the club level...350 a night?! Even after you spend 2k on a suite? It's insane. The only reason why I'm giving it two stars is because of the location. But honestly not up to Ritz standard. Old, outdated and horrible staff. Felt like we stayed at grandma's for the weekend with a grumpy grandma as staff. Won't be back here. Save your money and walk down to the water tower instead.

Very Disappointed! Way overpriced for nothing. I understood prior to booking that renovations were being done but I didn't think the pool would be closed. I didn't think the staff would check me into a room without any knowledge of anything! I wasn't even told check out time! I had to ask housekeeping the ins and outs of the place. My 8 year old daughter and I came here from Michigan, for a bonding mother daughter American Girl experience, oh and I purchased the American Girl package upon booking my room. Guess what? The AG bed was not in the room all set up as promised. We had to wait, and by that time it wasn't a surprise. Oh and did I mention, on top of the $250+ I had to pay almost $100 in parking for a day and a half. Parking isn't validated? Absolutely ridiculous.

This hotel meets its expectations. "On their way," thoughtful staff offered water immediately, pressed the elevator button before we got there. Nice and clean room overlooking the lake. Beds were very comfortable. Permanent wonderful stay.

Very pleasant place to stay. Sure will book my stay next April. Everything went super perfect. Rooms are great. Great views. Wish I could have access to their new lounge up in 15th floor. Spa is one of the best spas in big cities. Receptionist are exceptional. Nothing wrong with this hotel and the area.
