I have lived in Prescott for over a year and I am always impressed by the Raven Cafe. Food, drinks, coffee...all good quality, but the people, the service is outstanding. Today, from my high-top towards the back, I watched the staff navigate a surge of folks for lunch time. With COVID rules in place, this is no easy feat, but the staff took care of things with ease and with the highest level of customer service. On top of the lunchtime surge, a large group came down from the rooftop due to a deluge of rain -- they were a bit pushy, wanting their new tables, to the point that one of them approached me and asked if I was finished! The staff handled the entire situation with professionalism and excellency. Working in any kind of tourist-based customer service is always a challenge, especially since entitlement seems to be the overall theme for most who are visiting outside their hometown -- but the Raven Cafe folks rocked it this afternoon.

This is a great place to go for breakfast, lunch, beer, wine, and especially coffee. They source a lot of their ingredients locally, and the food is always delicious. They have a big patio upstairs that's great for just sitting and enjoying the night sky in the evening or when the weather is agreeable.

Awful experience. We wanted to take our daughter and her husband to the Raven Cafe because it sounded like an interesting place. We live in Prescott Valley and they were visiting from Portland Oregon. Our son-in-law brews his own beer and we were told Raven cafe had a great selection of beers. Perfect, or so we thought. We were also told Raven Cafe was a little "strange". Seat yourself, order your own food at the bar, and I'm not sure, but I think clean your own table. Didn't sound too bad. Wrong. It is bad. Since there is no host, it's everyman for themself. People must hover around waiting for someone to act like they're going to leave. Then bounce to secure their table. Anyone can cut in. They say they've had a "few scuffles" I can see why. After trying to "hover" for a while, and a few cut-ins, we left. Very disappointed. I have never seen a restaurant fun this way. I don't believe hiring a host would cost that much. At least you could be seated in a fair and organized manner. You should feel special the moment you enter. Raven Cafe does not do this. We crossed the street and had a great time. We will forever leave Raven Cafe off our list of places to go in our home town.

I LOVE this lil rooftop spot! Great Ambience, awesome view and a cool breeze were just my first impression. Throw in some scrumptious cauliflower tacos, a good selection of beer and wine and Kai who knows how to handle a crowd of hungry customers shes on top of it all!! I will always come back for more

Food was well flavored if somewhat minimal in proportion. Observation was that folks came more for the beer than for the food offerings. Checked out the rooftop area which was easily visualized as a delightful summertime noshing spot.

Update: this must have happened several times because the manager has mistaken me for someone else who had the same issue. I dined there alone. Lovely place and great food options. Except I accidentally went towards the bathroom without a mask and was violently ridiculed by a young woman wearing glasses. Won't be back after that experience after years of being a regular. I hope they coach their employees better on how to approach customers instead of being abrasive.

Different, don't expext to be waited on here. You'll order up front and takr your own seat. It's a nice departure from the usual post-meal payment, and significantly faster to boot. Couple that with great food and a large beer selection, and you've got yourself a great dining experience.

Amazing food! Everyone was very friendly and helpful, and the music was fun too. We went on a Monday night and they had a trivia game at 7. Wish we could have stayed longer, but had to dash. Will be back.

This was my first time here. Amazing atmosphere, delicious food and quick service. Amazingly mellow. I got the Chipotle Burger and it was incredible! If you like smokey heat, than you will love this burger. I recommend medium rare.

We both tried the Italian Pinini sandwiches and it was very tasty and filling. We had the close slaw and I tried the onion rings which were perfect in size and taste. We also tried a dessert crepe which had banana and chocolate inside with Carmel and whip cream on the outside. I had their ice tea and my hubby had a beer. Great place to eat have some drinks and relax. They also have roof top dining which we haven't tried yet. They also have games you can play while your there. Grest atmosphere too.

Horrible, just horrible. I have been to many restaurants in over 38 states and several countries. I've had to order through language barriers and still they can get the order right....yet somehow, someway, these people cannot. And instead of owning up to their mistake, they tell me the kitchen is closed without a care and no offers of a refund while telling me to screw myself through a straight uncaring face. That's pretty insulting. Thanks for nothing and giving me crap, ruined garbage that has things that I am allergic to without even caring at all to own up to your horrible service. I'll spend my money elsewhere where the customer service doesn't kiss my feet but at least they own up to their mistakes and actually take care of people. Thanks for nothing. I'll do my best to make sure not to recommend people to go there and you will never, EVER, see my money ever again.

Burger was great! (Ordered medium and it was medium well which worked great for me). Sweet potato Frys were a little overcooked but still tasty. No Coke, but the Home brew cola was decent. Bathroom soap container was empty :/ but was addressed right away, I was told... Good service.

wonderful place with fresh food and great ambiance. Terrific patio to boot. It is great to have a local spot that also features some healthy fare on their menu. The staff has always been friendly and helpful as well

The food was super good. I got the vegan nachos and they were delicious! They have a great selection of beer, wine, and other drinks. Their outdoor patio has a really nice secluded vibe. And the staff were so helpful and nice.

We care here for a day trip get away. I am not a fan of bar fare and most of the court square seems to be bar food (albeit great bar food). I looked for a locally owned, organic, conscious restaurant and the people I asked recommended the Raven Cafe. We showed up with 3 generations of family members age 5 months to late 60 s and all if us found something to thoroughly enjoy. I had the brunch burrito and it was WONDEROUS! (Yes I make up words). My little son had pancakes and my wife had avocado toast. We were all fulfilled and felt good about our meal. We re considering purchasing property in Prescott so we will be back! Thanks y all! Salamat Po!!!

The food was tasty, but they didn't get my order right and it took over 30 minutes to get our food. I didn't bother to correct my order because i was very hungry and had my kids with me, plus the server didn't ask about the food anyway. The upstairs patio is cool but it's small and seat yourself so there's a good chance it will be packed. The staff was very busy. They didn't pick up things they dropped on the floor like silverware and food. The kids menu is wow expensive (all of the menu is, but it's organic so i guess you expect it to be). I don't really recommend bringing kids there even though they might like the patio. The expensive kid food plus long wait time just isn't a good combo.

Most places you go, the vegan options just aren t very impressive. It s just not worth eating out most of the time. But the raven? I have to stop myself from spending too much here. The vegan nachos are incredible (my husband replaces the tortilla chips with fries and also adds jackfruit). The tacos were way tastier than I expected. The curry cauliflower bowl is so incredible I could go on for too long. The veggie burger is just what I like. It s not boring and they give you chutney for it. Also, bonus points: the people at the counter don t roll their eyes for ordering vegan. This has happened at other restaurants in Prescott and I feel much more welcome at the raven.

Amazing friendly and helpful customer service. Very clean. Even with a line it went by quickly and each customer seemed to get undivided special attention. Can't wait to visit again next road trip!

I was recommended this restaurant by a local, and I am devastated to say I was extremely disappointed and dissatisfied. I ordered the Avocado toast without egg. The price was around $11 and some change. On first impressions, the portions for the price seemed considerably small. I expected more for a roughly $11 price tag; at least more potatoes. I also wanted Honey mustard to go with my potatoes, to which the server replied they don t have that. I then asked for BBQ but the server said they didn t have that either. So, two of the most common sauces are not available here? Otherwise, the potatoes were quite tasty and had a perfect fried texture. However, the Avocado toast was average and didn t impress me due to the soggy tomatoes and small slice of sourdough not able to accommodate the ingredients. There should of been two toast slices to fit the ingredients! Not to mention the server/bartender seemed to be in bad or otherwise stressful mood so I didn t even want to complain about it and possibly cause an troublesome argument. I don t think I will come back here unless the owner reaches out to me or something of the sort. The prices for the portions were just not reasonable for the quantity and quality of food.
