Dale Green Review of The Raven Cafe

Awful experience. We wanted to take our daughter and her husband to the Raven Cafe because it sounded like an interesting place. We live in Prescott Valley and they were visiting from Portland Oregon. Our son-in-law brews his own beer and we were told Raven cafe had a great selection of beers. Perfect, or so we thought.
We were also told Raven Cafe was a little "strange". Seat yourself, order your own food at the bar, and I'm not sure, but I think clean your own table. Didn't sound too bad. Wrong. It is bad. Since there is no host, it's everyman for themself. People must hover around waiting for someone to act like they're going to leave. Then bounce to secure their table. Anyone can cut in. They say they've had a "few scuffles" I can see why. After trying to "hover" for a while, and a few cut-ins, we left. Very disappointed. I have never seen a restaurant fun this way. I don't believe hiring a host would cost that much. At least you could be seated in a fair and organized manner. You should feel special the moment you enter. Raven Cafe does not do this. We crossed the street and had a great time. We will forever leave Raven Cafe off our list of places to go in our home town.
