In town from WV and decided to stop in on friday because of the convenient location. Each of us (group of 4) really enjoyed our meal. Service was good. We enjoyed the place so much we went back the very next day (again, partially because of the convenient location). Will go back again.

Funky resturants in downtown Gettysberg. Really extensive Menu, there's something there for everyone. I had the meatloaf, which was outstanding. Nicely decorated and I glanced into the bar which looked great. Recommended.

The Pub was a very enjoyable restaurant for the most part, I cannot however speak on behalf of the bar as I am still under age. Their burgers are fantastic and their portions are quite generous. I will have to warn anyone who purchase a burger that it will be approximately $10-12. The only complaint I did have was the wait time for my food, but on a Friday night any good restaurant should be hopping

Spend your money somewhere else. Terrible service for cost of feeding 6. Food over priced. An Example = Salad my $15.95 for 1 brocolli, 1 cucumber, some beets, onions & a dried chicken breast with what was supposed to be olive oil & balsamic dressing. If you dont mind spending your hard earned money waiting for everything then I'd suggest the drinks. They were good and priced ok. Kids liked the fried cheese & chicken tenders. Very frustrated & disappointed!!

Located in the heart of Gettysburg, in the historic Lincoln Square. This pub has amazing decor, same menu for the bar and dining area, pinball machines in the bar area, and quite the menu. We had the buffalo wings and they were amazing. Lightly breaded and the buffalo sauce packs a nice subtle heat to it. We also got the breed brisket poutine. Yes that s right, beef brisket. The juices, meat, cheese curds, and thick fries all came together to make one hell of a delicious meal. The serving sizes are pretty big. Two appetizers filled two people up. Service was great. Have a beer and take in the stain glassed lights and all the history of the historic building.

Well dont get the steak. In the menu it said "at market price"...okay let's try it then. The tiny steak comes out with not even a handful of fries and nothing else. It was $35 dollars?!? Asked the waitress about the price of the steak after we got the check and she apologized and said she should have told us the price. Something could've been done to help. Nothing was offered even after the whole table commented saying it was not near that price. Any other restaurant would have at least comped our $15 desserts. We will not be back!

Service was very quick and efficient. Our server Josh was over the top, some of the best service I've had. The food was quite delicious. Good food and great service! 10/10 would dine again.

Wanted to like this place. The food was good and came out fast. The waiter forgot about us numerous times.
We ordered a pizza and side salads and french onion soup for dinner. We had the salads an soup before the drinks we ordered got there. We had to remind him about them. All the while people around us are getting their stuff without complaints. Getting the check took forever. A box for the pizza, you guessed it, forever. Might go back if we are in the area again.
Beautiful place though.

The Pub & Restaurant is one of my favorite places, everyone is friendly and I love how the inside is split. The food was so good it tasted fresh the next day and the drinks were on point. It won't be my last visit!

PROS: This place is the best place to eat in Gettysburg if your willing to spend a little more. The atmosphere is very upscale, they offer a lot on the menu all with good quality, the wait staff is knowledgeable and nice, the place (including the bathrooms) are clean. If you don't mind spending more money then usual in this area on food, this is the place to go.

CONS: Similar to any restaurant in this area, it has no parking. Hopefully you can find it on the street, if not, walk from your hotel if it's close enough. This place is also jammed with a lot of people and there's usually a wait before getting a table. As mentioned before, the price of the food is high. It may be correctly priced because of the quality, but it may be out of budget for some families, which is unfortunate.

OVERALL: I think this is the place to go to when it comes to fine dining. Great place to cap off a trip well spent in Gettysburg, but its size and location tend to be problematic. Hope you don't mind, because if you don't, your in for a real treat!

I was pleasantly surprised by this place. They have some interesting dishes.

Loved the Poutine. The Spaghetti Grilled Cheese was over rated but the Stromboli was fantastic.

Nice little Pub in Gettysburg.

Overall, a fine place to eat. Although when my wife and I went, it was VERY busy and VERY noisy. So not a very romantic dinner. Prices are indeed a little high. Recommended, but not a must.

Food was good, service was excellent! Shortly after 2PM our party of 4 walked in and were immediately seated. A very friendly atmosphere, not overly loud (we could have a nice conversation without shouting). Our server, Louise, gave excellent recommendations, was on top of drinks, was very personable, and checked in at just the right times. My wife enjoyed a Beets and Arugula salad, friend had a Patty Melt, daughter had half a nice Caesar Chicken Wrap (I had the other half at home), I had a Grimster's Beef sandwich. Grimster's was a very large meal (took half home) but a bit salty. Go hungry, the meals were very filling, side of fries was huge.
On leaving we had to work through a crowd waiting for tables... our timing was excellent! A great lunch, we will go back!

Wow. Food was amazing. Service was EVEN BETTER. Kevin is VERY good at his job. I had the Hawaiian sandwich, wife had the spaghetti grilled cheese (and NO that is NOT a typo) and my daughter had the pasta Alfredo which was CRAZY GOOD. Kevin even had enough wherewithal to ask which lager we wanted with our black and tan. Kudos to this place, you're sound an amazing job. Eat here. You're welcome.

The pretzels are amazing as are the pizza and stromboli. I didn't care for their vegetarianchili, tasted and looked as of it had been microwaved. Even still, it was like eating mixed beans with tomato paste. I wont be ordering that again as they have tastier bar food on the menu

Always enjoy our meals here. Nice that it's right downtown in the circle so it's easy access to shopping. Lots of choices on the menu, so it takes awhile to decide what to eat. Haven't been disappointed in a meal yet and have eaten here multiple times since we live near Gettysburg.

Although they were very busy, we were seated pretty quickly and the waitress was prompt and helpful. The food was a bit on the pricy side but worth it when you see the amount of food given. The drinks I thought were fairly priced.

Menu has 8 pages to select from! Pulled pork was very good along with the beer battered fries. A restaurant with a historical background dining experience. Also, we found the service to be prompt and attentive.

First service at 1:30 in afternoon was so slow I thought the place was closed.
Second my quesadilla was ordered without jalapenos. Rather than making a new one they picked them off and sent me the original one back. !!!! Lastly we waited 30 minutes to get our check. No wonder the place is empty.

Great food and drink located right in the square. Parking can be a bit of a challenge so make sure you have change for the meters. All 6 us of loves our sandwiches. The French onion soup was big enough for 3 people. The bar has a very cool copper top. Staff was very friendly.

My husband and I ordered the French onion soup. He did not like the spices and had only a spoonful. I asked if they would take it off the bill and the response was "once someone tries something, they can't take take it off!" ! Well lucky for us it was only $6.00, but we will never step foot in there again!

This place was fantastic. They treat you like family from the time you walk in to the time you leave, the waitress was perfect and made for a great dining experience. And the food! Oh my goodness the food was amazing!! So good, even the French fries were like gourmet! And the cheesecake was as good as I've had. Just heavenly! Definitely dine here when you visit Gettysburg to make your trip complete!

We came here because of the terrible service we received at the Gettysburg Hotel Bar. The out side of the building was very inviting and made me want to go in and find out what the inside looked like when we were just driving around town and exploring. The decor was beautiful. I'm a sucker for the Tiffany style lights, it was simply beautiful inside. The service was excellent. Our glasses were never empty. The Appetizers, which was the only food we ordered were a little pricey but dang the potato skins were some of the best I've ever had. The drinks however were not pricey at all, I believe my most expensive drink was 5 dollars. They had a very extensive drink menu. The mixed drinks were great, and I loved trying some that I had never tried before. Wonderful experience I would recommend it to anyone looking for something to do after dark in Gettysburg!

Interesting place. Great ambiance that matches the Victorian vibe and an extensive list of cocktails. The food is delicious and something for everyone. If you can take the heat, I highly recommend going for Grimster's Diablo- a spicy shrimp and sausage pasta. They need to hire more servers. Our poor server was highly professional and a great host, but was left to wait like 8 tables of 4 or more all at once.

The decor outside is nothing special and to be honest kind of blah. Inside its nicer but still your typical wood bar setting. Food was okay but nothing really to write home about. The service was awful. Waitress never gave us our utensils, water never refilled, she didn't know half of the menu we asked about for desert. Possibly just a really bad waitress but after sitting there for an hour getting treated like crap it really makes me want to slam them hard on this rating. If i were you, i would skip it. Sloppy.

Discriminated against me today. I explained that I have severe asthma. The gentlemen I spoke to told me that even to sit outside I have to have a mask, or I would be refused service. I will be filing a complaint with the ADA.

We ordered the pretzels appetizer, cream of crab soup, and muffaletta. The marinara sauce that came with the pretzels was overly tart. The cream of crab soup was bland. The muffaletta wasn't like a real miffaletta at all... It was toasted, which was weird. Definitely don't recommend the food here.

Passing through Gettysburg stopped in for food. Host ignored me and my wife for a while finally acknowledge us after seating what seemed to be his friends first. Finally got seated in the smallest table in a middle no options of tables like other guest were given. No waiter introduced themselves for over 10 mins. The waiter that was supposed to take care of us was helping a table next to us over and over and never came to us. At one time this waiter even backed up and bumped my wife with his butt, then swung his tray cover my phone and my wife and I in soda. When we asked for another table we were told no. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!

Food quality and quantity are average. The house salad accompanying my meal was not special, a few basic ingredients. The entree was mostly mashed potatoes with a small mahi mahi fillet, breaded. Not impressive. The bread served with dinner was also average. The ambiance was nice in the room upstairs. Table setting was nice.

Frequently go to Gettysburg and wanted to try someplace different.
The food was ok, but the service was HORRIBLE. They totally ignored us snd we had to practically trip them to place our order, get drink refills, even get our bill. They acted like we were an annoyance, practically threw things st us and kept walking.
I will NEVER go there again! I have had better service with friendly faces at McDonalds!
And you can be sure we will pass this on to our many Living History friends. If there was a lower rating than 1 star. They got it from me.

All is way overpriced. Got Maryland crab soup. Flecks of crab meant, if that. And veggies obviously from a can, if not the whole soup. Garden salad $14.50. Attentive service, but so not worth it. Desserts-$12.50. It s cheaper in NYC. Also, floor not clean. Use a vacuum!
