Good food right in the heart of historic Gettysburg square great for people watching and very centrally located on the down side quite expensive for eating but it makes up for that with ambiance

We always have fun when we go here. If going during the height of the tourist season be prepared to wait. Food is good enough, not mind blowing but the atmosphere more than makes up for it. Wait staff is always nice.

We ate here after touring much of Gettysburg, and even though it was a Saturday evening, the wait wasnt too bad. The atmosphere is super cute with stained glass with a whimsical feel. We would highly recommend the meatloaf! Make sure to read the back of the menu to better understand the history of the restaurant.

After an hour wait we finally say down to eat and celebrate our anniversary. We had an issue with our food that was delivered to the table and had to speak with the manager. She explained that because thr order was incorrect, the server would have to pay for my meal. (I didnt realize thry put blue cheese on a cobb salad and i cant have it). In order to finish my meal with my hubby i finally told her i would pay for two meals so that he didnt have to. The only thing they had to vhange was the cheese. They didn't give me a bew entree salad, just a new bed of lettuxe and cheese. Unbelievable that she had to explain to me either the server had to pay for the meal or i did. Customer service was awful. I am a smalll business owner and the customer is always right. Won't be returning.

I got a Cajun burger that was decidedly not cajun in the slightest. My wife tasted it (she hates even the slightest hint spicy food) and thought it wasn't spicy at all. Also, the meat, while given a generous portion, had no seasoning or flavor. It was like they took the meat, shaped it, (over)cooked it, and put it on my plate. I always order burgers cooked slightly under than I usually would at restaurants (because none of them get it right). I ordered the burger medium and got it extremely well.

I will say that the beer battered fries were pretty great, but I am not sure I'll be back.

Cute little restaurant. Server, Gwen was very nice. The lunch crowd was just ending so our burgers took awhile but they were good. Sweet potato fries weren't that good. Would likely go again. Saw another table get a slice of carrot cake. It was so monstrous my husband said it was irresponsible to serve it. Lol. It was like a whole cake service since it was 4 layers thick.

The building and restaurant was beautiful with a historical look to fit the area. The food was okay. The big burger buster was 2 large patties. The honey mustard had a hint of clove that was a bit too strong. Ambiance was better than the food.

Food was ok at best.. very over priced for food quality that you could make in a microwave the server was nice I guess.. Another issue was a tap beer I got that was the same exact thing was 75 cents cheaper across the street at the Blue and Gray bar and grill AND the food there was MUCH better I d highly recommend you save your money and get real food by avoiding this place.. And if your staying in the Gettysburg hotel like I was go to the Blue and Gray bar and grill it s MUCH BETTER all around!

Pretentious and pricey. ($15 for cheesecake?) Be sure to read the fine print on the last page of the menu where they tell you that if you don't like something, it's because your taste isn't as good as theirs so don't expect a discount or accommodation. It's too bad they have an attitude because it's a great location, the food honestly is pretty good but it's off putting some of the signs on the patio and the in-your-face declaration of no discounts if you're not satisfied.

Amazing as always. Was here for their first ever holiday festival. All of the staff were amazing. Ordered a great salad with my wife, Manhattan, wine, the works. Even on a crazy day/night this place maintained the quality and service we have continued to enjoy. Next time you're there stop by.

Mediocre, great for tourists but not really a good independent restaurant. The menu is so broad it tries to please everyone, I personally love their cream of crab soup, build your own Pasta, and the cheese cake really is to die for but if you go I think you will understand why three stars is appropriate.

Delicious! The wait wasn't terrible for a Saturday night and the waitress was awesome. The food was excellent and very good portions of food. I got the portabella mushroom burger with fries and it was one of the best burgers I've ever eaten. Definitely worth a 30 minute wait. If it's a nice day/evening, would definitely recommend the outside seating area.

First time eating at this Gettysburg restaurant, and I really liked the ambiance. Food was good, tasty but not unique. Enjoyed our night out. I recommend this restaurant if you like good American food. Prices were reasonable.

Great food , reasonable prices. Extremely friendly staff and a very large menu.
I personally found the policy of exchanging your license or credit card for a table buzzer to be a tad low class..... other than that, a great experience and will go back

Had a very bad experience at this restaurant on May 5, 2017. My husband and I went there for lunch, we were seated immediately. Lauren was our waitress. Drinks and appetizer arrived in a timely manner but not our meals. Larger parties were coming in and receiving their meals before us. We waited and waited. Finally, I asked Lauren how much longer for our food. Her comment was "I don't make the food and the bar is busy!" I left a bad review on their Facebook page and the owner, Lisa Grim, came back with a reply questioning why it took me 5 days to write the review and then she basically called me a liar! She said Lauren is a very hard working young lady and she reviewed my review with Lauren and of course, Lauren had no recollection! Of course she didn't, she most likely needs her job! I too work very hard for my money and I certainly won't be spending it there ever again! And for the record, the food wasn't worth the wait!

Went here with my wife while on vacation(in February) we came in at 9:10(they close at 10) was seated then about three minutes later the host came and told us they were closed and escorted us out. We were humiliated as we were marched out in front of others and will never come here again. We believe it s since my wife is a beautiful transgender women and when she said thank you they figured she was transgender and we were asked to leave for that reason.

We advise all members of the lgbt community to avoid this destination as they are transphobic. As well as all people who travel here and believe in welcoming others.

Made us wait for one hour and a half. We realized their computer was down and they didn't care to tell us even though we were in front of the guy. No discount for the food. The Brad was burned. I'm not coming back to this place. It's the first time I had a bad experience in Gettysburg.

This restaurant is set in the heart of Gettysburg. The building & decor was interesting & historic. The staff & food all were good. Something to keep in mind when ordering your meal that portion sizes are large (we could not order their yummy dessert due to being too full). Also, has a full bar. Recommend stopping and eating here.

The food was terrible and the manager Kevin was even worse! We ordered 2 different sandwiches that were said to be panini and absolutely were not. One was just grilled and the other was just barely toasted. Neither of them had the dressing on them like they were supposed to, they were completely dry! We also ordered an appetizer that wasn't served with the right sauce. Kevin the manager did not care about our opinion and did absolutely nothing to fix anything, and was extremely rude. He even accused us of insulting his intelligence when we offered to show him what a panini is supposed to be. The server was the only good thing about our experience.

Very busy place before a show at the Majestic with an okay waiter. Probably would have enjoyed my time here better if the service was better, but we were also on a schedule because of the show. Hope to go back and see myself proven wrong.

Used to serve the "build your own pasta" dishes with a side salad and a pretzel knot. They used white out to take that off the menu and kept the pasta dish prices the same. Until they decide that customer satisfaction is more important than saving a few bucks I won't be returning.

This place uses to be great....not so much anymore. My husband and I went there for lunch. We both ordered the vegetarian chili. It took almost an hour to get our meals. The waitress admitted she forgot to put the order in. We also both ordered hot cider - which was lukewarm. We won't be going back.

Great place on the square of Gettysburg to eat. We sat by the window and could see the people walking around the square. Food and service were great. Very busy but you would have never know it by the service.

We wanted to order a certain item on the menu and the waiter directed us to another item instead. He explained how and why we may not like it. Wow! Love this place
