Great bar overall and atmosphere!!! We only had drinks !
Nice place with great service and a good menu with tasty food.
Ok food. To expensive for what they offer. Good place to meet for business lunch.
Great place for a quick sandwich or burger.
I noticed that they have fancier food and a bar, but we just wanted something fast.
Since it was in the middle of a tourist area it was a bit more pricey, but the food was tasty and atmosphere was nice!
My kids was left down. No onion rings which is a staple of his diet and on the google website menu. Nice otherwise.
Excellent food and friendly staff, in a very nice atmosphere. Menu sandwich oriented, but very nice entrees as well. Has a bar as well as restaurant seating.
Great food and service (Our server Andrew was exceptional). Place is busy so plan for a wait if you get there during peak times. Worth the wait!
Stopped in for lunch. Meal was very good. Prices are slightly above average. Service was below average. I do not base a restaurant on service for the most part. We all have off days. I will go back again.
Meh, we went in just for an appetizer and a few drinks. My old fashion was made correctly and my husband's Guinness was poured correctly. The bar tender was great. She was friendly and attentive to our needs. Our food on the other hand was not the best. We got a hot spinach dip bread bowl. Which was far from hot, it also didnt come with any bread to dip so we had to cut up the bread bowl while completely full.....it wasnt what I expected. We will try again and give it another try when we visit next time because the customer service was great.
Waited 45 mins. And then was told another 30 mins. Because they didn't write our name down. Very disappointed won't go back there again
Try the BBQ burger very good. Waiter was very friendly.
Good food and atmosphere, but over priced for the quality of food.
Unique restaurant across the street from the center of town. The French onion soup was delicious and the portions were huge. Service was nice but felt rushed as our entrees came out right after our soups. Interesting interior design.
Little disappointing. Outside atmosphere is good but food wasn t up to expectations. First we got soft pretzels. They were good and would get again. Pina colada was a disappointment as there wasn t much rum or mix to it. Husband got ribs they were cold and almost looked like they aren t cooked all the way. I got the Cajun chicken wrap. Chicken was cold and there wasn t any honey mustard on the wrap. It was dry. Such a disappointment and I wouldn t recommend and wouldn t go back.
Nice food and customer service. Price is reasonable also. I had the black and blue burger with Tiny morsels of Hershey's chocolate chips inside the burger. Interesting. Give it a shot. It is unique. Not sure I'll try it again but who knows
Fantastic food! Been here twice and would highly recommend!
Went here on our vacation arrived at 9:10 we were seated as they close at 10 then the employee came back said they were closed despite other people being there and promptly took our menus and escorted us out. The people sitting there eating were staring at us like we were criminals. We were embarrassed and will NOT come back here on any of our future Gettysburg trips. we also WILL recommend to friends and family who come out here to avoid this place at all costs.
Friendly and accommodating, beautiful bar with tasty food.
Stopped today for a pre-Lent cake at The Pub in Gettysburg. We ordered the Andes Mint cake. Staff friendly, the table clean, the cake enormous and beautiful. I opened my napkin to find enough hair to be donated to Locks of Love. Cake was at least day old dry. Not up to previous visits.
Nice place, delicious food and reasonably priced. Only complaint is that its a little cramped inside.
Great atmosphere, great location, but I believe these things have guaranteed so much patronage that other aspects have suffered. The food, service, and PRICE especially. Don't get me wrong, the food is good but it's not matched to the price. The Hummus was great but for that price it should come with more than 4 pita chips. I made the mistake of requesting more and paid dearly for it. If you are bicycling around town touring it's great place for a beer, they have a pretty good selection. Take the girlfriend out someplace nice, but it's not the hangout for workin folk with a blue collar paycheck. LOVE the copper bar though...
I have been a patron of your restaurant for years. For Halloween we decided to come to Gettysburg due to its rich history. Considering Gettysburg is one of the most haunted cities in America I would have thought that your establishment would be open late on Halloween. I was shocked to learn that you stopped accepting patrons as of 8:30 on Halloween night. As a business owner this is a holiday that you should take consideration of. Especially since your normal business hours during the week would ve had you marked as still open. There are so many different things that you could do to generate business at your establishment on this night especially considering the history of the haunted town you reside in. Instead of your restaurant I am now waiting across the street at Blue and Gray for a table with a 45 minute wait. Business that was completely lost on your establishment! No worries though next time I won t bank on your posted internet hours I ll simply go elsewhere as I m sure the other patrons that tried to visit your establishment will!
Nice early American atmosphere, great arrive and very good food and portions. Highly recommend it.
We always try to stop here when in Gettysburg! Great food!
The beer was watered down and terrible from the tap, the service was below average, but the crab soup, the crab and spinach dip, and the French fries were stellar. Great atmosphere, but lacking a professional waiting staff/bartender
The food is excellent, have been several times. The service was excellent this time, last time not so much. This service went above and beyond. I will definitely go back. The food is absolutely amazing.
All I can say is, so good. Every Pub in the world has a pulled pork sandwich. It's my goto but their Chipotle BBQ Pulled Pork had a little something extra. I'm usually fairly good at figuring out "special recipes" but I am delightfully unable and plestly disappointed. Please understand that may be negative words but please read them with the utmost positivity. The sandwich was amazing.
The food was good, the menu is too large and overwhelming to comprehend. Bathrooms are clean but are on the second floor. I can see this place bringing in vast customer base from it's location, they could learn from keep it simple.
Came for Sunday lunch. Food was very good. Service was great. The owner, whom I did not meet, shares her struggles and victories of this place on the menu. Inspiring.
I had a joy of visiting the place. Nice food, very friendly waiter and above all very handy location.
Perfect views, great selection of brews and the menu is expansive.
Wife and I both had salads and they were pretty large, absolutely delicious.
We hit the Pub on a beautiful Saturday afternoon and the sites were perfect!
Service was excellent. The food was very good except for the brown gravy. The gravy was very salty. Cost is reasonable considering its location. We will continue to come here when in the area.
Food was awesome. Serving and bartenders were very friendly and on top of things. I highly recomend
The staff here was absolutely wonderful. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our food! I will definitely be coming back here next time I m in Gettysburg!
As soon as we walked in we were greeted by an amazing host and the food was amazing.
Good atmosphere. Terrific bar food - huge portions - inventive slads - great bloody marys.
Great dining experience! Thanks to our server Sarah for making it a great time! Food was out in about 15 or so minutes which is amazing considering how busy they were. Staff was very friendly and the view is awesome.
Good food good value. Best in downtown for tourists. Too dark and overdone in blue decor to the point of nausea. Go for the food. Service is typical tourist restaurant.
Cool environment, wonderful service. Foods ok, but it's such a neat place to eat it's worth going to just for once.
The food is excellent, they have a wide selection of beer and drinks ,many in bottles. It can get pretty busy at prime times which may result in wait of 30 minutes. Their pretzels are a must try.
The food was really good! There were so many things we wanted to try! Nothing was disappointing. We really enjoyed the spinach and artichoke dip in a bread bowl and the hot wing pizza was delicious! Their pizza crust is different from any other crust I've had before but was delicious! And the slice of cake was pricey ($14) but it's a huge and heavy slice.. 3 people could easily share it. We had the peanut butter cake.. So delicious!! We are only in town for a short while and plan on going back to try more food from there :) highly recommend!!
My sister and I were driving through the area and this place was recommended. We really enjoyed our dinner. The service was great and the food was good. The ambiance was great out on the patio too. We would recommend you give it a try.
Good food, amazing facilities and kind people working at this place. You should visit them!
Very hard to find dairy and gluten free options. Many dishes have cheese, meat or bread. You can make your own salad and add to it. Service was excellent!! Very helpful.
i came to gettysburg pa for business reasons and also to have a nice time in a historical town. i met two locals who told me NOT to go here.... oh how WRONG they were. this was HANDS DOWN the best place to eat in town. the service is impeccably fast and friendly. the food is just a good or better. honestly the only timei hat bad things is about the BAR food. if you expect bar food to be the best quality then you're obviously not a foodie. the entree meals here are absolutely cooked to perfection!
Good food and service. Party of 4 seated quickly on this visit, but on weekends there are often long wait times.
every time we go to Gettysburg which is 2 to 4 times a year we have got to go to the pub restaurant and get the pasta diablo it is so good and we even get extra sauce to bring back to Maryland with us it is worth the drive up there to get this the meal is out of this world
Amazing food and prices. Save a lot of room for the cake
Absolutely loved their food, service was great with one exception. I asked if the soups were gluten free and was told YES. (I try to be gluten free for health reasons.) Then ordered soup which was delivered in a bread bowl. The soup was wonderful. I asked if I can get it in a bowl in the future, and I can.
Neighbor Hood watering hole, great food drink an friendly staff and people. Glade I stopped in.
I was disappointed in my ribs. Didn't care for the flavor. My husband liked his salad.
Everything was delicious! The tomato bisque was fantastic.
Lousy bar service, slow too. Not sure how to make a Cosmo. And served cloudy beer, but wouldn't swap it out for another.
Stopped for a drink with friends before walking over to the 34th Street Christmas lights and then back for dinner afterwards.
Service was great in the bar and even better at dinner. They explained all specials and quickly brought dinners and appetizers (party of 12).
Dinner was brought soon after and servers stopped frequently for refills and to see how things were going.
This was my first visit and based on my experience I'll be returning - often.
Terrible food for both of our meals. Very bland and over priced.
Ribs were exceptional as was the French onion soup. Prices are extremely high, and even though the food was good, it's not worth the price.
Great food and our server was delightful. Very nice decor and atmosphere.
Very nice restaurant. Good service and food in a quaint area of town.
Great food and excellent service! Would definitely recommend the French onion soup
A little load this time of year but,a very good place to put the ol feedbag on. Not to pricey
Great location and atmosphere! Burgers are terrific!
I ordered a Patty melt medium well and it came out rare. So I had to wait for mine to cook longer while others were eating . It's a hamburger for crying out loud!!!!!
Not very much seating available in the bar. Cocktails were strong, but it had a nice atmosphere with the handmade light fixtures. Please update your arcade games in the bar though.
Great place to grab some quick eats or take a night out. Very friendly staff and great location in historical Gettysburg.
Cool restaurant and bar, the food was very good and the staff was nice, except for one at the bar, she was kind of annoyed and stressed.
My better half is from Gettysburg and she is always raving about the pub. So we visited 3/10/12 (Saturday) while we were in town. We got there around 5:30 in the evening and had about 25 minute wait. The wait was fine since they give you a pager and the radius is about a block and there are some very cool stores near by. When we were seated the waitress was very friendly. She was a little nervous, I think she was new, but did a good job in my opinion. I ordered the salmon and it was one of the best salmons I have ever had. I was pleasantly surprised. Being from the DC area I tend to get snobby with food and this place surprised me. Their desert was amazing as well. While the prices were higher than I expected for a town of this size, they were not outrageous to me, again being from DC everything is over priced. This is a place I will eat at again when we are in town visiting her friends and family.
The outside dining area is quaint and perfect, especially on summer nights! Inside... It smells like wet dog (not exaggerating!)! Our waiter was very indifferent and seemed a bit annoyed with us throughout the entire meal, yet he was friendlier with the table who ordered alcohol! Despite all of this, the food was great
Very good food, outdoor patio let's you watch the comings and goings of tourists in Lincoln square. I was pleased that they had a veggie chili option!
Food was excellent, price ok, service definetly needs improvement. We came in at 2:30 pm and it was busy, but we didnt need to wait for a table. It took 45 min for 3 kids meals and 2 sandwiches to come out. We We're not acknowledged once in that time. We understand kitchen can be slow, but at least acknowledge the wait. Also be aware charge for kids drink and side of fries on kids meals.
Basic reuben, very good coleslaw, nice wide-ranging beer selection, very good service.
Friendly wait staff, average food at high prices, Had their cream of crab soup, very thick, lots of crab but rather bland taste!
The Pub & Restaurant is a quaint place. We ate on the restaurant side on a Sunday afternoon. The food was great. I had the marinated catfish which sat on a bed of vegetables. My wife had salmon and my kids had pizza. Everyone enjoyed the meal. Wonderful wait staff and excellent service.
