An unbelievable evening with Master Chef Massimo Bottura! American Express hosted this extraordinary event here at The Peninsula Hotel. Only thing is they need more bathrooms! Badly!
Great location for which they will ensure you pay for. Dress immaculate when going to their restaurant, I was easily out of place in my Bay area attire and was politely asked if I can have my breakfast at the pantry outside the breakfast area
without ifs and buts - that was a great stay - everyone and I mean everyone was friendly and helpful - especially notable is front desk manager Ms. Keila Jimenez - everything is just right in the hotel
Awesome hotel wonderful service we asked were to find a poliraid 300 wide film because we could not find it and the people said they would go and get it for us and they did in less than 3 hours and they brought it right to our door
In my opinion the best Hotel NYC has to offer. The staff, all restaurants, and the amazing rooftop bar after 5pm all having that 5 star feeling(*****). Beautiful paintings & artwork are refreshed often, and everything is kept super clean. If you are looking for upscale hotels in NYC, this is definitely a must.
Come here regularly with my girlfriends when the weather is nice, and it's been a great time every time. Ambiance is cozy & classy, and the drinks are always on point. Servers are attentive and go the extra mile whenever we show up, which is greatly appreciated. Thanks for the great service guys!
The Peninsula may be the best hotel in the city! Often you pay a premium price for a mediocre experience. Here you pay a premium price and feel that the promise was delivered. The staff is incomparable. Every touch makes you feel special - including (maybe especially) housekeeping, room service, bellmen - right down the line! While I am happy to rave about our experience at the hotel, I need to add that the rooftop bar is a separate animal. We visited on multiple occasions and always felt that we entered the real New York. The one where the staff doesn't care and you are on your own in the concrete jungle - but still paying a premium price. Having shared the negative, I want to end by saying we loved our stay at The Peninsula and will be back whenever in NYC
Great roof top bar, nice views from their outside patio. Their Dining room had excellent food and wine. Our staff were attentive but not over barring. An excellent stay.
The rooftop bar is very nice and has great views of the city. The outside area is heated in the winter. The cocktails are great but the service is okay.
Reviewing the main bar upstairs from the lobby. Good drinks but with the corresponding price tag you would expect from an upscale hotel on 5th Avenue. We expected that but wanted to try it out and we weren't disappointed. Service was efficient and professional. Drinks around the $25 mark. $$$$
If you are looking for a rooftop bar in and around Times Square, you have to do this place. Can't beat the view. Our drinks were good and pricey, but you kind of know that going in. Not sure how busy this place is outside of the Christmas season, but we got there just after 5PM, when they open, and it was already packed. For the ladies (and this guy!), the tables on the patio all have heaters!
We went there for our 30th anniversary, a year late. They greeted us and welcomed us back, even though the last time we were there was 1999! Loved the hotel , the service and it's prime Fifth Avenue location. The rooms might feel a little dated but they're very beautiful. Phones in the bathroom ! No coffee maker? No bathroom fan? Still great. Hunnan on the rooftop restaurant was a real gentleman.
This is an exclusive hotel and everything about a stay here is exclusive. From the staff to the rooms to the hotel as a whole. Then there is the location. Walking distance Times Square, Central Park and so much more!
Gotham Lounge, located in the Peninsula, is a great location for high tea. Enjoyed champagne and snacks. Beautifully decorated, a perfect place to go with that special someone.
My husband and I stayed at The Peninsula for our 10th wedding anniversary. We were extremely pleased with our stay. From the moment the bellman greeted us at our car door to the moment they helped us leave, we felt like we were home! Everyone remembered our name and meet us with a smile every time we came through the door. My husband mentioned that it was our Anniversary and when we came back late that night we found lovely rose petals lined from the door to our beautiful bed, as well as around the tub. By far the best experience, and we have stayed in a lot of hotels.
Very expensive 5 star hotel in Manhattan. In a great location on Fifth Avenue. They offer a day spa. Fun place to stay and visit. Go for tea, if you have time.
