This hotel is amazing for many reasons. First, they have one of the best rooftops in NYC generally and that you can smoke up there while you enjoy an amazing view of Manhattan, especially at night. Very friendly and helpful staff. Very clean place and restrooms. Just be careful from some escorts there who try to make you buy them drinks and rip you off. Other than this, this s a must see experience in Manhattan. If you work nearby, they have happy hours upstairs in the bar, where you could take your colleagues an enjoy some drinks and snacks.

Loved the nightscape City view from the rooftop bar! Did not try the food or drinks though. Very cozy area... would love to go back and spend some time there next trip

5 well-deserved stars for a 5 stars hotel. my best hotel experience so far, I absolutely loved it. The staff, the food, the room were amazing.
And the Irish barman from the hotel bar was a lovely person. Made me the best cosmopolitan I ever drank!
The only bad thing was that I went with my friend to celebrate her 30th bday in NYC and I would have loved if we were allowed 30 mins to take pictures during the day from the hotel rooftop bar - they refused us which I found as a lack of effort from Concierge to make us feel great there.

Nice bar rooftop but the waiters were not very nice

Room was great, the beef and sheets are comfortable. Unlike other high end hotels the WiFi was free.

The restaurant in the hotel, Clement, was fantastic but pricey.

One of my favorite rooftops to grab a cigar and whisky with my friends.

Located in the heart of Manhattan, many of the major attractions are within walking distance. You can definitely find fun here. The service itself is great, the rooms are clean and spacious. The staff is very friendly and will do everything we can to help us, especially the Burt of the Concierge, which should be specially commended. The food is very tasty, albeit a bit expensive. We recommend that you try your breakfast and feel about their restaurants and services.

Great place for drinks and dinner at 55th St and Fifth Ave close to shops and the Central Park

The Peninsula Hotel NYC is incredible! Its a high end luxury hotel in the heart of some of the best NYC attractions. Their Christmas decor is some of the best in the city.

Went to the rooftop bar. Was nice, but I didn't know people could smoke up there.

Great service, and the rooms clean. They have everything (pools, spa, etc). Loved the food. You definitely get your money's worth.

My only issue is the traffic and parking outside i wish they would offer a shuttle to the airport. But it's beautiful here so clean and always fun.

We visited the bar at 1st floor. After 15 min our table remained dirty from our predecessors. Nobody cared us.We left the bar. Bad service!

Dont let the marble floors on the first floor fool you. the rooms are really shabby and dirty. The people there are not as respectable as they should be. If you want a hotel that is around the area of manhattan then fine go ahead and stay, but its not really worth it.

Incredibly dated hotel trading on the name. Rooms dirty and $16 for a glass of juice. Avoid

Great hotel. The service is great. Hotel location is ideal. The next time I am in town, I will stay here. My wife and I will be back in a few months, and I plan to stay at the Peninsula Hotel again.

My wife and I stayed here one weekend and it felt like a small boutique style hotel despite its physical presence at the corner of 5th Avenue and West 55th Street. Rooms were smaller than I imagined, but clean and up to date. Surprisingly the bed skirt appeared as if it had been boiled and no longer fit properly. Beautiful pool and spa on the top floor. Staff was unobtrusive and efficiently working almost unseen.

Popped in for a shopping break. For such a posh hotel, I am shocked the staff at the bar doesn t even know the difference between caffe macchiato and latte macchiato. Brought me a caffe macchiato after I ordered a latte macchiato. After my repeated explanation and picture display, they told me they didn t know how to make a latte macchiato. I was at a loss for words. Maybe train your staff better if you are going to charge the rate you charge.

Great location. Unfortunate circumstances. The water was turned off at the hotel overnight that I learned from a note after I checked in. The manager promised that water would be restored by 6A. At 7:30, no water. Led to a very stressful day. I would not have stayed at the Peninsula if I had known there was a chance that water would not be turned on. Be wary of management promises.

Beautiful rooftop bar. Very expensive, as expected, but what wasn't expected was the incredibly poor and unprofessional service we received.

Such a spectacular hotel. Love coming here for weekend getaways with my husband. There is no better service than the Peninsula service. Rooms are beautiful, and no detail is left overlooked. There is so much close by to this hotel to walk to and see, if you're visiting the city. For a local, this is such a nice treat to have someone else take care of you for the weekend. The staff are also so friendly and take care of absolutely everything.

A shame ... I booked treatments: hairdressers then massage for Sunday December 11 and on arrival it turns into a hairdresser on Sunday and massage 6 days later ... Moreover, it does not bother any employees ... only question that was asked:: can you come back next Saturday for the massage!

Great view, very nice terrace and wide variety of the menu, the prices are high in the specific but not so much compared to other offers in the same area

Very bad experience do not come in this there is no kettle in the room is this even a five star such conjusted rooms no head shower in the bathroom only a hand shower

One of a kind! My wife and I did a spa day here on our anniversary trip to NYC. We don't have a large income and don't typically do "luxury" things. But we splurged for our anniversary (honestly the prices for this spa compared to others in the area were reasonable). Holy cow! This place is amazing! Definitely do one of their spa-cation things where you can spend the day there. They have an incredible sunroom/pool space, saunas, steam rooms, and relaxation rooms. Our package included lunch and the food was fabulous. My wife is pregnant and the massage therapist gave her a wonderful prenatal massage. They really know what they are doing here and they do it really well. The customer service is exceptional. I highly recommend.

Very nice hotel. Clean and spacious rooms. There is a big gym. The breakfast was very delicious and a nice view from the rooftop. The staff was also very friendly courteous.

Very nice and luxurious hotel with bar on the 24th floor accessible to everyone where you can see the big apple from above even without consuming .. Obviously with a lot of discretion .. I was invited by the concierge to come up to take some photos .. Once arrived on I was greeted with great education ...

Great rooftop bar with a clear view. Open space that's heated in the winter, or with the option to head inside a widowed lounge. On the pricey side, but that's midtown NY

What a good hotel should. Ben, in the Gotham bar is the man to have at any bar.

Great place to hang out on a quaint rooftop with incredible views and good drinks. Drinks are $26.
