Very good space in the rooms and dining spaces, but small spa for the number of guests possible.

Second stay in this place enjoying a breathtaking view of the Atlantic, in the middle of the pine forest and the dunes. If the gastronomy of the hotel is still up to standard, unfortunately the service has deteriorated greatly in recent years. Unfriendly receptionists, more opportunity to use the changing rooms in the spa (spa which has also become chargeable), minimalist turn-down. The place would therefore benefit from regaining effective management in order to regain a level of service in line with its stars.

A nice venue I've been to twice now for a businese conference. Modern, clean, and the golf course is nice as well.

Perfect mix of simplicity, efficacity and design. The entire hotel is great (pool, spa, sea view, golf and sun). Rooms are huge and ultra modern. Location is very nice and staff is great.

Modern hotel, super calm, magnificent view to the sea and rooms with excellent dimensions. The vast majority of the reception staff, bar and breakfasts are not at the level of a hotel of this quality.

Pro: Very large rooms, great views, right on the golf course, very nice pool, very good quality breakfast, very good bed

Cons: all in all a bit old, especially shower and bath, attention of the staff in the restaurant is not enough 5 * standard, the first hotel I have experienced where you have to pay extra for the coffee capsules in the room.

The hotel is too modern (very minimalist) for my taste but very nice and a bit expensive. The golf course one pass, "links" style.

A little too modern, but with charm. If you like huge rooms and don't mind the fact that the toilet is pretty unprivate, you can enjoy the dunes perfectly

Excellent service, scenic views and cozy atmosphere

We spent our honeymoon here September 2015. It is one of the best hotels I have ever visited. The rooms are modern. The staff is highly serviceminded our stay was perfect.

A very spacious room, I was in a Premium loft

In the room was literally freezing! We stayed for 3 nights and called reception many, many times. At some point they send somebody to check the AC and apparently something was broken but they never fixed it. They said also that the hotel is full and we can't change the room.
The fact that the rooms are nice or the view is beautiful are not important anymore when you freeze and leave with a terrible flu.
Really bad experience!

The rooms were nice, but the people working here were very unfriendly. I would recommend you to invest your money smarter.
The food was decent but not amazing.

Neither comfort nor breakfast is greater than in a 3 * hotel. The bathtub in the room was also useless because it didn't seal the water! Finally, when paying we had to pay at the tourist tax although, in the
Time and e-mail of the reservation mention that it is already included!

Unfortunately there is close to no hospitality in this place. Feels like a hospital and the staff is rude and not very welcoming!
Also, be careful the hotel works like a cheap airline. Almost all services need to be paid additionally, even the swimming area.

We loved the Oitavos. The modern, spacious rooms were comfortable and well appointed. The bar was well stocked and the cocktails were great. The food was a bit 'confusing' in places (perhaps too much fusion going on) but it was all good. We loved the locations and rented bikes to visit Cascais and the beaches to the north. We look forward to returning.

The rooms were huge and breakfast buffet was very good. However the staff just seemed a little uninterested that we were guests there.

Price / quality in strong imbalance. Only poor facilities. Kind staff. Super noisy air conditioning. Inedible bread. Hard scrambled eggs. I will not repeat the stay!

For a premium hotel the service is shocking. Room service or drinking outside can take up to an hour for drinks to arrive and there is a very good chance they won't be what you ordered. The Japanese tables serve very good sushi but nothing too adventurous whereas the main restaurant serves very adventurous dishes that are badly cooked and badly conceived. Most of staff speak very little English despite it being the hotel's 2nd language for menus etc.
The rooms are beautiful as long as you have no want of privacy from your partner. The glass shower looks straight into the glass toilet so nothing is left to the imagination.
This futuristic looking hotel was conceived by someone who enjoyed walking as it's a very long building with everything spread out.
All in all it has the possibility to be a swanky affair but the lack of staff, lack of good staff, lack of decent chefs and poor attention to detail leave this hotel at the bottom of my return to list.

5 stars, the golf course and the view over the sea are excellent.

A stylish hotel with spacious rooms and a beautiful view. But also my first 5-star hotel, which in addition to the money for the overnight stay also charges a fee for the pool (indoor). The outdoor pool is not yet heated (March).

It's very good ... only the attention is not according to the stars, neither is the entertainment offer.

Perfect landscape, but space maintenance is neglected. It has everything to be very good.

It is always a pleasure for us to return to this hotel. Sleek hotel, spacious and very tasteful rooms. Lovely staff and very good breakfast.

Particularly unfortunate architecture at the entrance .. a glass box .. deserved better before the place

The view is unbeatable. The day we were there was sun, but is pretty sure with whatever the weather. The room we were reserved is great - spacious and "light." As for food, would give five stars to inputs, four to the dish we eat (tenderloin with mushrooms) and three to desserts (varied - but nothing shone).
