Beautifully renovated Cinema with downstairs tables and Armchairs. Bar and food is available in both Reception and downstairs seating areas. A real treat!

It's by far the most relaxing cinema, the audience are so polite! No chatting, no phones and no noisely bag were rustling. Everytime I've visited it's full and it's as if your sitting at home (seats are also nicely upholstered).
Plus you can sit down with a beer served in a glass.

A whole new experience for the cinema. The surround sound was amazing and the seating luxurious. Loved the layout, perfect for everyone to view comfortably in uncramped luxury.

Always an amazing experience for the decadent return to a more luxurious cabaret club stylish feature film viewing experience. Individual seats and table service and a bar that's open for the duration of your visit downstairs and more legroom and very comfortable seats on the balcony. Makes going to the cinema a real event!

I don't think I can fault the cinema it's quite art deco. The lower level are where the best seats are, grab yourself a bottle of wine and enjoy the broad selection of films they put on each month.

The tickets are surprisingly cheap in comparison to other cinemas. There are no cinema cats though.

Great cinema, just a shame it doesn't have it's own parking.

As always brilliant. This is the only way to watch a movie! Very comfy seats, the cheese platter is very good, the atmosphere special. Indulgence for cinematic enthusiasts.

Love this cinema. The decoration is very 20-30', stunning. Two levels, ground floor is cabaret like, with tables, whereas the top floor is more like a regular layout with rows of seats.
Always very busy, make sure to book your tickets very early as they can sold out at least one week before the screening sometimes. There is a bar where you can order drinks, sweets, popcorn and even a cheese board!

Beautifully restored Art Deco cinema screening a good mix of independent, classic and recently released films. Nowhere else like it outside of London.

Fantastic job done of tastefully modernising this cinema creating a comfortable, luxurious environment to enjoy a special night out at the flicks.

Beautiful cinema but stair lift not working. Had to go all the way around the back. The back is a narrow road that you can't turn your vehicle around in. I was in a mini bus on a trip out with a group of elderly. Do not attempt to go with disabled or elderly if the stairlift not working.
Such a shame as the cinema is stunning.

It's quite lovely but must book which is not exactly as good as Cineworld and has only 1 big screen which isn't all that bad, overall I'd say if you can, go there

Fantastic Cinema! I live locally and have been here quite a few times since it reopened.
Never had an issue, comfy seats, no heads getting in the way. Always a pleasant experience. Some people have to find something negative.

Maybe I am behind the times with how the cinema is these days but I really enjoyed the ambience of the seating and being able to have drinks at your table, it made it a good experience. The price was reasonable and it would have got 5 * if it were easier to get more drinks. I did not wish to stand up and move around during the film to go to the bar at the back. If there was an at table ordering service or even just a summon a server switch that could get a staff member discreetly to the table it would be perfect.

A cinema like they used to be and should be still!

The best cinema experience I have ever had! Beautiful surroundings, comfortable seats, great staff, the snacks looked good too! I had lost interest in going to the cinema, but The Odyssey has definitely got my film bug back!

Great cinema, excellent service and seats! You can even have a nice glass of wine with your movie! Only downside is they don't do popcorn (other than a tiny packet), would be 5 stars if I could get a bucket of popcorn :)

Really nice old fashioned cinema, with tables and chairs downstairs and classic seating upstairs. There is also a bar in the foyer and comfy seating, which is really nice. I would highly recommend this cinema!

Great concept - choice of standard cinema seating upstairs or sitting around a table with comfy sofa chairs with family or friends with drinks and snacks available from the bar. Cosy place with friendly staff. So much better than the usual cinemas. Parking available close by at the NCP car park.

A wonderful single screen cinema in a historic building - try to book a table downstairs for a really special experience.

Great place to go to watch movie, comfortable seats with 2 bars and a table to put drinks and food on. Nice change from being in rows and trying to get out of row when in centre.

Super place to see a film and have something to eat and drink! Especially helpful to me as a disabled person with the alternative entrance and help from all of the superb staff Thank you so much for that!!!
