This review is a year over due - which says something, and I'm not one to write reviews, but I thought writing one for this situation was very important. I bought a fountain for pick-up from Birdsall last year. My wife and I had a great experience picking out a fountain - the staff was very friendly, courteous and helpful. We made our purchase and later in the week picked up our fountain. However, when we got our fountain home there were problems so I picked up the phone and called the store manager (Stephanie) and explained the situation. The problem was not a problem that they typically see, but in conversation with the owner and Stephanie they decided to deliver a new fountain to replace the original. At the time, my family was going through some of life's typical "bumps", and the last thing we needed was a fountain problem too - but thanks to Stephanie and the owner we didn't have to worry - they found and delivered a solution and we can't thank them enough!

A sanctuary in the city. I want at least 3 fountains in my house and garden and the pricing seems good.

Amazing home and garden store. We came in for some holiday shopping on Broadway and found this gem of a local business. Huge selection of outdoor furniture, home decor, plants, fountains, etc.

Unusual inventory. The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable.

I wandered into Birdsall for the first time earlier today after finding it randomly on Google maps when I was looking for a local store where I could buy a bird feeder. When I arrived, I immediately felt like I had stepped into a fantasy world where fairies and elves live! I was so fabulously struck by how BEAUTIFUL the store is and I left with a perfect bird feeder and the most fabulous plant I have ever laid eyes on that the owner planted in a dreamy ceramic pot that we picked out together. Whether you re looking for a specific item or just want to step into a little *magic* for a while, I strongly recommend a visit here!

Love this place! Always come here for gifts and even just sometimes to walk around and see the beautiful plants (I usually can t get out the door without buying something :)). The staff is very friendly and goes above and beyond to repot plants and make them look beautiful. Highly recommend!

I love this shop. Every one is so knowledgable and helpful. They're great conversationalist and will help on every level plant. I love all the pots and plants. It's a therapy to visit this store.

Has a great selection of fountains and planters. Inside they have fountains running so your can hear how they will sound. I highly recommend.

On July 31st 2019 I purchased 6 large Campania planters and one Campania bench from Birdsall and Co. A total of $2867.00, for a large landscape design project in Los Altos, California.
I am designer from the east coast who was coming out to the west coast to complete a large landscape project with a very sensitive time frame for a job completion on September 25th of 2019, I arrived on the west coast for the job on September 15th. My items were set to arrive the first week of September. I believed ordering the product with this much lead time (July 31st) would absolutely ensure that the items arrived with well enough time in advance to avoid any issues. Morgan, from Birdsall and Co reassured that the shipment would be palletized and shipped on August 26th to make it in time. However, the order didn t ship to California until September 20th. That s a wide three week gap. I was contacted by the freight company to receive my large order a fews day before leaving the job site around September 25th, now about 4 weeks late. Due to this incredible gap in delivery time I had to drive all around the Bay Area in a rented U-haul to find replacements for these 6 large planters and bench, so I could complete the job for my client prior to leaving. Losing a whole day of work time with my hired labor crew. Creating a rift with between me and my client, as well as, additionally incurring large expenses on my end. Morgan, of Birdsall was quite short and unsympathetic about the issue. I quickly contacted Campania International and they instructed me to refuse the delivery, as I wouldn t be there to accept or use it. I did as I was instructed. Because none of these factors had anything to do with me or my planning, I expected a full refund for the very delayed products. Although, Birdsall and Co believed it was fair to subtract the shipping charges from my refund to route the shipment back to them. Ultimately, costing me a total of $1540.00 dollars.
Which means I paid $1540.00 to Birdsall for nothing. Zero product, as well as the loss of a labor day the additional planters and benches I had to purchase buy on the fly to complete my job. A huge financial loss on my end. I would be hesitant to trust Birdsall with your home or trade needs on large shipped orders. I have since reached out to Birdsall to discuss further, but they didn t answer my calls or I was told Morgan was out of the country. What an expensive mistake and waste of time.

Lovely place!! Plants very healthy. Reasonable prices. Customer Service warm and pleasant. Nice atmosphere.

I haven t been able to have indoor plants for years, due to not having enough space, or proper light. We just moved, and I was finally able to make a plant purchase. I was beyond impressed with their selection. Matteo was wonderful, extremely educated and informative, and so helpful, kind, and just a delight. I would recommend them to everyone. I can t wait to go back, and add to my collection. Thank you so much!

I can t believe I have driven by this place probably 3 times a day for years and never once stopped in. Furthermore, I can t believe as large and diverse of a plant collection that I have, that this has never come up on my radar.

This place calls itself a Garden Boutique and it lives up to its name. Gorgeous selection of pottery, diverse and occasionally rare houseplants. Neat gifts and patio furnishing to boot.

I've been here a few times, and the staff always is able to direct me immediately to whatever I'm looking for. They have beautiful ornamental decorative pieces for your garden and a large collection of houseplants. I Love supporting local businesses too.

I purchsed 2 gorgeous pots on Saturday morning, was so pleased with them and the service. We came back today to get 5 more! They have so many interesting plants inside, tons of statues. Morgan, Mateo,, and Josh are amazing, Thanks guys.

We love this place. The staff is always super friendly and knowledgeable. Their plants are beautiful, healthy, and well maintained. We live over an hour away and the drive is worth it every time. Best store for plants and pots. Also there is usually a friendly shop dog in the store so that s an additional bonus!!!

Tons of pots from fairly small to pretty colossal... A great selection. They also have fountains, decorative pieces, and a little bit of outdoor furniture. I think their prices, on some things, are a little in the high side, but it's all really good quality stuff, so maybe that's the price you pay... Well worth a look if you're hunting for statement pieces or the like.

My wife and I visited Birdsall & Co and had the absolute best experience. We were stocking up on houseplants after unfortunately killing our old ones while moving from Utah. Everyone was so helpful and the man who helped us was extremely knowledgeable about all the different plants and the ones that would be perfect of us. We even received a little lesson on how to pot plants correctly and the best advice to care for our plants. Birdsall & Co will definitely be our go to for house plants from here on out!

We bought our water fountain here and my parents shop here as well. Great place to find cool things for the yard and also for the inside of your home. Stop in, to find friendly staff and you'll most likely leave with something cool for the interior or exterior of your home. Highly recommended.

This is my favorite garden store of all the ones I have visited in every state I have traveled to. They have unique gifts, fountains and pots. I purchased a fountain from the several years that they kindly packaged and shipped to my home in Washington. The birds and I enjoy it every day. Great customer service! I make a point of going every time I am in Denver.

Spent an hour there yesterday looking at fountains & planters, went inside and walked around. NOT ONCE WAS I SAID HELLO TO OR ASKED IF I NEEDED HELP? I really wanted to buy a fountain & pots. Sadly left & drove to another Asian fountain & planter store on Broadway and was helped immediately when I drove in! There planters & fountains were MUCH less expensive! In the end I know where I ll spend my $$$!

Huge selection of houseplants both tropical and succulents. One of my favorite plant shops in Denver. Reasonably priced.

Blocked off 80% of their parking lot with parking blocks and dumpsters to keep propritors of other buisnesses from parking in their (shared) lot. Also blocked off alley access from said lot. So now they have big, unsightly, but most importantly EMPTY parking lot. 5 trips I've made to this location since they opened, the lot is a bigger mess every time I come. And the most cars I have ever seen in their part of the lot is 3. the lot is attached to their building, but it's not a private lot. Them trying to treat it as such is bad for everyone and they are only hurting themselvs. Yeah, they are entitled to the spaces they blocked off, but blocking off the alley access and putting the parking blocks down in a totaly stupid configuration just reflects their petty buisness practices. Fair prices, and the staff is friendly, but the owner, or manager, or whoever made these choices about the lot has assured I will not be making the trek to Birdsall again.

Edit: I guess you don't know what "entirety" means. It's one lot, which you rent most, not all of. You can do whatever you please with that space, you want to make it a single lane entrace to an already cluttered parking area, that's your right.

I drive a medium sized pickup, I cannot make the u-turn near Starbucks so i always entered thru the alley. But I guess my 5 purchases don't qualify me as a customer? Or maybe you just don't know what that word means either. Because I am, well, was, a customer and I am complaining about your parking.

The shop is gorgeous, and they have pots and plants that I ve never seen and all draw my eye. We met Scott and he was extremely knowledgeable, and helpful. I highly recommend this shop, it has awesome workers and lively plants, it s one of the best plant stores I ve ever been to and look forward to going back.

Love this shop!! Excellent and super knowledgeable staff, wonderful selection of plants and pots (and more!), and such a calming and peaceful space! If only it was a coffee shop too, I'd live there all day! Parking is easy too.

I love hunting for inspiration and treasures here and we have found some beautiful planters for our bar/restaurant and for our home. I am so happy that neighborhood gems like this exist.

We went in to find a replacement piece for our backyard fountain. Everyone was more than helpful, if fact we left saying it was the best beyond customer service we had witnessed ever. Josh was knowledgeable and over-the-top helpful. We will be long -term customers! Thanks for that experience.

Great plants and pots with a nice selection and great quality. A little pricey for house plants but that s to be expected at local spots and I don t mind spending a bit more to support local business. A great place for plant lovers!

What a rip-off!!!
My friend purchased a fountain this past July and does not have a truck. I agreed to pick up said fountain. When I picked it up in the alley at the old location, they did not give me a cover, nor did I know that I was owed one. I wrapped it in a moving blanket and delivered it. My friend did not notice til this November that she didn't have the cover that she paid for in July.
Now Birdsall is willing to pay half of the $102 cover THAT THEY NEVER GAVE ME TO BEGIN WITH! I am sure this is a money making ploy by unscrupulous management, owner, or both. If you are thinking of spending money here, I suggest you don't. Their overpriced merchandise can be found on-line and elsewhere in town, for a fraction of the cost.

Very cute place, they have a nice selection of pots and plants. Unfortunately, the staff didn't greet me or acknowledge my presence except to step around me once. Finished my walk around the place and left without the stained glass pot or the plant I was going to get because there are other nurseries with much kinder and more helpful staff.

The owner is lovely. The merchandise is always fresh. Great selection and great service.

My wife and I purchased a table top indoor fountain. When we arrived home and started to setup it up, we noticed it had a crack on the back side. I immediately call the store and spoke to Annie the owner to let her know it was cracked. She said that they have no refunds or returns on fountains and they do not take exchanges if an item is damaged. I told her I was very careful with the transport and nothing we did could have cased the crack. She implied that I must have done something to cause the crack and did not even seem to consider the possibility that the crack was there before we purchased it. The inflexable and uncaring way in which she handled the situation made us feel she did not believe us and that she was unwilling to try to work something out that might satisfy us. We returned the other two items we purchased that day and will never shop there again.

A word to the wise. If you shop there be sure you ask them about their return policies and check everything very carefully before you make a purchase. Customer service when there is problem with a produc is very lacking. I would not recommend this business.

Very expensive, but the quality is ouatanding! Very unique items too.
