Great food. Strange atmosphere. Every few minutes they played happy birthday music for a different person. We counted at least 8 birthday songs being sung!
Pulled duck is a joke

It's British Chinese food. Cheap and mild. Pretty good is that's what you are going for.

Getting orders wrong is a common occurrence. The staff dont know what items are on the menu when asked. One week they do certain items, the next, they don't. Portion sizes are abysmal. They have decreased the size of their side orders but are keeping the prices the same.

We had a lovely meal here and really enjoyed it. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Very good with the kid's to. Would highly recommend this place and would go back

Went while visting my dad and mom being from NY tons of Chinese food, but Mandarin Palace was awesome and excelllent service:)

Dined here this evening, had angel hair chicken starter and then salt and chilli chicken with noodles. There was a group of 6 of us, food was excellent and staff were fantastic and very attentive. Would highly recommend.

My family and myself dinned here on the Sunday after St Patrick s day I was surprised at how busy the place was . The food was excellent as for the service it was brilliant,really friendly attentive service the restaurant it s self is beautiful we will definitely be back . Mandarin palace you should be proud of yourselfs top class!!

Superb ! Our Christmas staff party was really enjoyable with an electric atmosphere.The chinese " Elvis" got the party started with singalong karaoke and the christmas set menu was delicious.

Excellent Chinese Cuisine in the heart of Derry City

Lovely food and atsomphere however staff lacked knowledge on menu items. Having asked what type of meat is in the spring roll starter we were told "just meat" .

We dined here tonight, was greeted by a lovely hostess and only had a 5 minute wait for our table. The food was great and the service was excellent, including the "in-house entertainment"

Good food but quite expensive especially the takeaway, there are cheaper options nearby with bigger portions and cheaper food with just as good food.

My Dad's a big fan of Elvis, so we took him to the Mandarin Palace for his 70th birthday surprise party .Great food and a funny lively sing song from the chinese elvis and friendly staff.

Lovely venue, service very good nothing too much trouble. Really enjoyable evening.plenty of parking out the front by the river, free after 6.30pm. And lovely walks along the waterside.

We were here for my nieces 13th birthday everything was top class from the service to the food absolutely fabulous evening out

This was our first time in Derry and our hotel recommended the Mandarin Palace for our evening meal.
My wife and i ordered from the Express menu and we could not believe the quality of the food. fresh tasty, delicious and great value for money. 2 Courses for only 14.95.
In Dublin for the same quality ,the price we paid would of been for the starters only. Friendly staff and nice decor with water front views. We will be back

First time in The Mandarin Palace.
Very busy restaurant .Ordered the Thai Green Chicken which had succulent tender sliced chicken fillet and a nice kick with the chilli thai spices and in a coconut creamy sauce and fried rice
My son had the sweet & sour chicken Cantonese style and chips and he ate every last bite.Cracker atmosphere
Will be back.

Visited this place with my unfriend Typically Inscrutable Higginbottom for peas.

Went on a quiet time so plenty of staff food was good but just a little overpriced..still good to visit once in a while

Super menu. Highlight dish which was stunning was the chilli prawns. The mussels were disappointing and bought in I suspect. A good choice for food. Staff were superb.

A very good and very popular resturant, sumtimes can be to busey.

I have been a regular customer in the takeaway for the past 20 years & the takeaway food is always of the highest quality & consistent.
My favorite dishes are the aromatic duck & pancakes & the salt & chili chicken.

What a great place, excellent food, in the restaurant and also from the take-away.

The restaurant has been done up, and the place is beautiful and the food is still top notch!

Food and service, fabulous, got served right away. Table was booked before hand, best to book in advance. Then Elvis starts singing around tables, great atmosphere altogether. 5* plus I'd give it. sterling for euro too.

One of the best Chinese restaurants in the northwest. Food is fabulous and the staff are all so friendly. The menu is great and you won't get a better curry anywhere else. The children love it here aswell.

Our first visit to Londonderry and friends took my hubby and I for Sunday tea I must say the food was delicious atmosphere was brilliant with Elvis the singer so entertaining loved it x

The food is good, although it does not fit our expectations! Here are also sometimes ordered burgers. Who wants something sharp I want out of place here. For the owner likes to appear in the Elvis costume and gives his best as an Asian Elvis. What a special experience is.

I see only one asiatic person there, however the food was delicious! Prices good, and quantity more than enough!
