What an amazing place and experience. Staff are so friendly and nice. Just make sure you keep an eye in the movie you want to see in advance and book. Anywhere you can get a cheese board delivered to your cinema seat has got to be amazing right!

Amazing art-deco cinema, beautifully restored. Watch your favourite films in a comfortable armchair with loads of space, tables and a glass of wine. Staff are very friendly and knowledgable. Why would you want to sit like cattle in a multiplex when you could experience this??

The Odyssey Cinema is a real throw-back to the 'good old days' of picture houses, with its style and architecture. Tonight was the first time I've ever been there (went to see a film) and it was very enjoyable. Good comfortable seats, upstairs, with plenty of legroom, giving you a clear view of the screen ... it's the 'sister' cinema to The Rex, in Berkhamsted, which I have to say I prefer, as it seems to give a more intimate feel. Overall though, I'd go here again, if unable to get seats at The Rex, as it's still very good for an evening at the pictures.

A gem

Always a pleasent experience when we come to see films at this cinema. The downstairs area is particularly nice and has open seating with soft, comfortable chairs and tables. There is also a bar that serves drinks and light snacks during the film.

A wonderful experience of cinema times of days gone by. We had a sofa for two, I ordered a cheese board and others ordered wine. Watched an old classic. A truly wonderful way to spend a few hours watching marvellous films on the big screen. Bliss.

So comfortable, best cinema I've ever been to. Only down point if you book two seats on a table for four, be sure to get there early as some selfish people take the two seats in the middle leaving you and your partner to sit apart I really think they should make a rule to stop this as I've heard a few people complain about it ruining nights out.
