Dr. McCarron is a wonderful doctor, his staff is always friendly and helpful. They answer any questions and take time to go through all options and situations. Would highly recommend seeing him.

We have been very happy with the care that I have received at OB-GYN since I have been pregnant. I have been pretty sick throughout the pregnancy and there have been a couple of times I have needed to come in and get IV fluids. The entire staff did everything that they could to make me feel comfortable while I was receiving the fluids. Dr. Cundiff has been amazing! I recommend her to everyone looking for an OB-GYN doctor. We are very blessed to have her at this clinic.

Dr. Driscoll is an incredible doctor! Very smart, talented, and loving! Thank you for taking such great care of me during my surgery!!

I have been a patient of OB-GYN Associates since 1993 and have not had any issues until just recently. I have loved my doctor and I am very sad that I have been banned from the office. I have had a number of appointments over the past few months to try and figure out some issues that I have had. I have made payments on my account and then due to the number of appointments that were so close together I informed them that I would wait for insurance to catch up so I know what my true bill is. I then received the bill that looked all caught up. I didn't get it paid the day I received it and within a week I received a reminder letter. I received it on Wednesday, May 29th, and then today received a letter dated June 2nd informing me that my next appointment has been cancelled and that I need to find a new doctor. So I guess they are under the assumption that mail is delivered 7 days a week. Since this appointment was to check to check the treatment I received previously is okay, I now have to wait longer to have this checked until I can find a new doctor, have my records transferred, and try to get into that doctor. So much for caring about patient care and ensuring that all is well with the treatments that have been rendered. Very disappointed!

I'm currently 33 weeks pregnant and have really enjoyed my experience with not only OB-GYN Associates, but with Dr. Boardman. The staff is always so professional and friendly. I love that Dr. Boardman always pulls up a chair and takes the time to listen; she never seems like she is in a rush. I am so happy I have her as my doctor and couldn't be more pleased.

The staff were so nice and helpful with my first time being there. Great check in process with such a pretty office. Highly recommend Rebecca Reedy, so nice and shows you how she wants to get to know you.

I have always been treated courteously. Plus my PA. Is so easy to talk to,answers all my questions. I never feel rushed.She reviews things with me, & has suggested changes,that may be necessary as I age. Love her!!

I have been going to OBGYN associates since I was 15yrs old. I just turned 40. All 3 of my babies were delivered by their doctors. Dr. Lundgren in 1997 delivered my son via emergency c-section. Dr. Zavala delivered my daughter in 2002 via c-section. Dr. JK Olson delivered my last child in 2008 via c-section. I had a hyst in June of this year done by Dr. Messenger & it was a fantastic experience. Then on the Sunday before Thanksgiving I ended up in the ER with my 16 yr old daughter. She had severe pain in her abdomen which I thought was from her appendix. After a CT scan they found she had a teratoma on her left ovary. Dr. Lyons was the on call for the ER & we were sent home & told to schedule an appt with her asap. I called Monday & we saw her Tuesday morning at 9am. Dr. Lyons scheduled surgery for that same afternoon! It was amazing! My daughter was in pain & I am so thankful that Dr. Lyons went above & beyond to listen to her & quickly fix it. It couldn't have been a more wonderful experience. Every doctor I have seen here has been amazing.

Even when they are busy I never feel like they rush through my appointments. It is always a great visit there and I feel like I am very well taken care of.

I'm really glad I'm seeing these reviews now before we went any further. For about two months, my husband and I were communicating with a very nice man via email, asking questions, quick responses for our upcoming appointment. We've now been waiting nearly a week for get the results from my husbands sperm analysis and its extremely frustrating. We've called a few times and we've gotten the ring around that doesn't make sense that they have to wait until the doctor is out if the office to call us. We called the lab place and the results were done the day he gave the sample...its just really frustrating, as if the stress of wondering if we even have kids isn't stressfully enough.

Enjoy the doctors and staff. Good service and care.

Dr. Bemus is always very professional and gets me in and out in a timely manner. He takes the time to ask how things are going and listens to the answers.

I would not ever suggest this place to anyone not helpful at all. I need a refill on a very important medication and because I owe a small balance of $25.00 they will not give me a re fill. I think that is totally off the wall. So I will have to continue with no meds and see what happens.

My daughter has high anxiety and had to have a procedure done. Yes, she is 18 but she begged them to let me go with her. They would not let me go in with her. I realize there is Covid-19 precautions in place but there should always be exceptions to the rules. Everyone is wearing a mask and has their temps taken anyway. Anyone with anxiety disorders can relate. Would have changed the ratings if it wasn't for that.

I can see why your reviews are so awful. Everytime I've called they've had an attitude. It's unprofessional and pathetic that they can't manage to not behave like immature school children. If your thinking about coming here just know they are poorly rated for a reason so please go somewhere else if you can so you won't have to deal with what others have.

The wait time has been short each time I have had an appointment. Dr. Zhang takes the time to get to know you and is caring.

Dr. Beemus is so very kind, gentle, caring and thoughtful. I never feel like a number to him but only concern as a real person & a real patient. You don't see that often enough with Dr.s anymore I would recommend him to anyone who needs a OBGYN.

Dr. Lyons was filling in since my regular OB was out. She was great; going above and beyond to ensure all of my needs were met.

Very friendly staff, nurse practitioner was wonderful.

She is such a great doctor, Dr Lyon is a health professional well experienced and with a very good and warm service care to their patients.

I would have to agree with the comment below. The billing department is nothing but rude, unprofessional and has absolutly no compassion what so over. I truly want to leave ob gyn associates just because of the billing department and finish up my pregnancy checkups somewhere else however, I only have a few more months left. The doctors and nurse's are outstanding though. It's a shame a few people can put such a bad outlook on a whole company. I am rating the company an "It's okay" only because of everyone else who does a great job. I do know however, when we decide to have children again I will not return to Ob-Gyn Associates.

I have been a patient at OBGYN & Associates for over 10 years. I loved Dr Hess (who is now not practicing) and she delivered 2 out of my 4 babies. All of the other doctors I have seen at this clinic have been fabulous and I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Dr Olsen was very understanding and willing to listen. I would recommend him to anyone

Dr Piehl is great! She takes her time with you no matter her schedule and makes sure you have absolutely no questions or concerns before you leave the office.

Dr. Joy Olson is warm, kind, listens to me, and is thorough in her explanations and answers. I don't feel rushed with her. Staff is friendly and kind.

Very friendly ultrasound tech and Dr Olson was great and made me feel at ease. It s my first pregnancy so she had a lot of questions to answer, but I felt good leaving the office.

Today I was treated well. Interest was shone to me and questions were answered. I felt comfortable and spent little time waiting.

I have a doctor that I have being seeing since I was 16 years old and I absolutely love her! However the billing practices are absoultely shameful. I received a bill for under 30 dollars for a visit last November I called to ask if I could pay it when I came In for a appt in less then 20 days I was told that would be fine and today I received a letter that I needed to find another doctor because my bill was not paid! What? So 21 years and two kids with the office means nothing because of a bill for under 30 dollars that I was told it was okay to pay at my appt In a couple weeks? I watched a friend die this year ravaged by ovarian cancer so this is absolutely deplorable to me. I have let a message with the billing department so we will see if we can fix this mess if not I guess I will find another doctor after 21 years and thousands of dollars spent at this office.

I like everything about this place. From the time you check in to the time you see the doctor to the time you check out. The staff is very friendly and reassuring at check-in. And Dr. Busswitz always takes her time and explains everything very well to me. I appreciate that she gives me her opinion of what to do, not just tells me what to do. I feel that she makes me part of the decision making.

Dr. J. Olson is an amazing doctor. She always makes me feel comfortable with myself in my medical decisions. I appreciate her for what she does.

They do not take Iowa Total Care, confirm your future appointment as it might already be cancelled without your knowledge.

We enjoyed having Dr. Lyons for all of our check ups for our first born child. She made sure we felt comfortable at any appointment answering all questions with any concerns that we had. Although we didn t get to deliver with her based on our babies timing, she was at the hospital before we left and she came and made a special visit. All follow ups have been great as well with a few minor recovery issues. Thanks, Dr. Lyons!

Never in my life have I received worse care from a hospital. The way they treat people here is INHUMANE. BEWARE of their billing department. If you have state insurance THEU WILL NOT BILL IT. They will repeatedly tell you they are going to bill it and just keep sending you bills until it eventually hits collections. And there's nothing you can do about it. Call their billing department? Goes straight to voicemail. Hours to get a call back to speak with rude people who know EXACTLY what kind of scam they are pulling on people with state insurance. So glad I left and went to the University of Iowa. This place should be shut down. The amount of times I've has to call this place is insane, they care nothing about you. Not to mention they are not VBAC friendly. Fix your billing department. People should not have to fight to get a hospital to bill their insurance correctly.

Dr Messenger is amazing, friendly, understanding and has an awesome ability to make you feel as comfortable as possible! The staff is kind and courteous!

Dr. Driscoll has been wonderful - very friendly and supportive. I've been turned away by other doctors, but Dr. Driscoll was immediately helpful when I requested sterilization. She performed the surgery 4 weeks after
I initially requested it, which was great turnaround time. I expected a long battle, but my experience here was fantastic. Dr. Driscoll respects women's bodily autonomy (and that can be rare), so I can't recommend her enough! The office itself is also very nice, spacious, well lit. Staff are very friendly, too.

Dr. McCarron didn't rush through the exam, answered my questions, and discussed concerns. He always has a professional, yet friendly, "bedside manner", and I have complete confidence in him.

Awesome physicians and staff! They are very professional and treat me with respect and dignity every visit. I look forward to continuing my journey with them and starting a family.

Jerry Rozeboom, Deb, and all the staff at OBGYN are a remarkable group of professionals. This is medical treatment done right. And as maudlin as it may sound... for nearly 3 decades they've treated me like family. I am impressed with the Unity Point collaborative. And I am grateful beyond words for the care I receive at OBGYN Associates.

The professionals are great, but better plan on snailmailing a check...

Can't get billing to answer the phone, and the recording directs you to dial for credit card payment, which there is nothing but empty air on the line.

Dr. Joy Olson is always very friendly and listens to my concerns and provides feedback. I would recommend her to anyone!

Everyone I've encountered so far is so knowledgeable and empathetic. I don't dread having to go the gynecologist because I feel that I'm going to be getting the best care around. Dr. Bussewitz is very laid back and brings humor to her patients!

Dr. McCarron is the best doctor. Every time I have an appointment with him, he treats me like I am his only patient. That is what it should be like with every doctor. He takes the time to fully explain everything and make sure I understand. Nothing short of amazing care every time!

Love Dr. Bemus, he is so fast to get us in, usually if I come a little early I am done with my apt before my actual apt time! I have been told by several other doctors how much they trust his care as well.

I've been going to J.K. Olson since I moved to Cedar Rapids 5 years ago. I would recommend OBGYN Assoc. and Dr. Olson to anyone.

I will never go back to this place. Very rude employees and the doctor I had couldn't remember anything about me. Even though I had just written it down in the waiting room and she had the paper in her hand. She clearly didn't read it and didn't care how upset I was getting having to repeat how many MCs I have had every single time I saw her. I ended up having an allergic reaction to medication she prescribed to me and had to call the emergency number to get help. But had a different doctor call me back hours later just to tell me he didn't know what to do because he wasn't my doctor. A week later I had an ultrasound and found out I was MCing again. After the ultrasound, I saw my doctor and she claimed to have no idea about my allergic reaction to the medicine. Even though it was written in my chart and I talked to my nurse there about it earlier that week, They have so many patients, they have no idea what is going on. Also, the nurse never returned my phone calls when she said she would and never called when the lab said I should expect a call from her. It took days to find out what my levels were.

Dr. Piehl is amazing, as are the other doctors I've seen at OBGYN. I've been going there for about 5 years, through two pregnancies, and have no desire to switch.

Staff were friendly and welcoming. They were patient and thorough. From the moment I walked in the doors to check- in, through my lab draw, to seeing the physician, and all the way to scheduling my next appointment --- everyone was professional and genuinely interested in my health. Thank you for being so caring!

We had to see peihl for an emergent appointment. She's was very nice and patient with us. She's not usually my doctor

I have been seeing Dr. Piehl for my pregnancy and she is wonderful. She has a very positive and upbeat personality that is very comforting. Dr. Piehl always has time to answer my questions and address my concerns. Overall, I have had a very positive experience at OB-GYN Associates PC. The staff throughout the clinic is courteous, professional, and very helpful. I would highly recommend using them.

I have had the pleasure of working with two different staff members for routine and abnormal appointments; they are not only kind, but willing to take the time to ensure I left with all of my questions answered. On top of that, they have always answered my phone calls timely and adequately when I couldn t come into the office in person. I highly recommend!

Dr Bemus and his nurses are phenomenal. My pregnancies were a little rough and he was always very caring and kind. Our son has a bleeding disorder and Dr Bemus worked with us on birth plan as ordered by the university and was supportive of our plan. I have recommended him to others. I have NEVER had a more wonderful, caring, attentive, and knowledgeable physician than Dr Bemus. His nurses are amazing too! They are so kind, easy to talk to, and understanding of concerns. Shout out to the receptionists/lab techs/mammogram techs. You guys work hard and are wonderful to work with as well!

I love going to Dr. Joy Olson! She makes an awkward appointment not awkward in the slightest. She truly invests in her patients and remembers details about their lives. She cares about you as the whole person, and you can tell she truly loves her job--it's her passion. She's quick and efficient, but also doesn't rush in an out of your appointment; she will talk to you and explain things/answer questions as long as you need her to. I cannot recommend her enough!

Wonderful birth of our daughter with Dr. Lyons. I don t use her as my OBGYN but I would highly recommend her! During the moments after delivery you might forget to capture events in photos and tasks that they do everyday as Doctors and Nurses, she made it special for us and made sure we got photos of all moments that we never knew we would want! Wonderful day!!
