I've been going to OB-GYN Associates for years and every time I go I feel at home. I wod definitely recommend them to anyone.

OB-GYN Assoc. is the premier Obstetrics and Gynecology facility in the Cedar Rapids area. I was referred here when I moved to CR over 20 years ago and have never left! I ve seen Dr. Joy Olson that entire time. While I was past the child-bearing time when I d started coming to this office, it didn t matter to Dr. Olson and her staff, they treated me with kindness and professionalism each and every interaction that I have had with them. I m SO impressed! I d never dream of going anywhere else!

I have only 1 complaint in the 22 + years that I have been a loyal, upstanding, pay at time of service, patient at this facility.
Before I get to that I want to commend the Doctors and nurses and those in the labs, as they are all excellent, kind, caring, patient; taking time to listen to questions, to hear concerns, offering information and answers, at all stages in a woman's life from prenatal care to perimenapause as well as all in-between, and all after that.
The billing office however, twice by phone, displayed such a shocking lack of professionalism, disrespect, by speaking with such a harsh, sharp, demanding tone catching the caller, me, by such surprise, that I was basically speechless. Communication has yet to be resolved other than I will go elsewhere. This treatment was utterly demeaning. It has been the ONLY complaint I have in the 22+ years of my going to this place of business.

Dr McCarron is amazing! Best doctor ever. He is always caring and spends time explaining things to me and makes sure I am comfortable with the next steps. He truly cares about his patients and is very knowledgeable. His nurses are amazing too!!

I was so pleased when I woke up because I had absolutely no pain, just a bit groggy and hungry. I did have a bit of tummy tenderness for about 5 or 6 days, but nothing I couldn't handle. Never took even an advil or motrin. I thank Jesus for giving man the knowledge to invent the robot for surgery and thank you so much Dr. Lyons for having the knowledge and skill to do my surgery and operate the robot. I would recommend Dr. Lyons and Dr. Bemus anytime!!

I have been here through 2 pregnancies and have had great experiences! Everyone has been so friendly and helpful! Love Dr. Driscoll!

I had surgery and every month they pull money out of my account so I never miss a payment. There words exactly "As long as you keep making payments we can continue to see you." Yet without warning they canceled my yearly appointment and refuse to see me. I have proof from my bank account and from the bill they send me every month showing I have yet to miss a payment. I keep leaving messages to ask what the issue is and they wont call me back. Trying to talk to someone about the problem is like pulling teeth. They have NO care in the world for their patients. Please NEVER go here its not worth it.

Dr. JK Olson is a fantastic doctor that actually listens. All of the doctors we have seen at Obgyn associates have been wonderful through my 4 pregnancies and 3 deliveries.

Even though there are closer OBGYN offices to where we live now, I don't mind the distance because Dr. Lyons is the best of the best! Very down to earth, kind, open minded, so full of knowledge and always ready to answer any question you throw at her.

Have been coming here for a long time. Currently see Dr. Buzzwitz who is great, always has plenty of time to talk and explain things. Everyone here is thoughtful and helpful.

Jen is always the most friendly person you could encounter at the OB. No one truly wants to go for an annual exam, but she makes it more comfortable and I even look forward to catching up with her and sharing a good laugh before heading back to work. I would recommend her, and I have in the past, to anyone that is looking for someone to visit.

You are ALL amazing!!! Dr. Rozeboom is the greatest, kind caring, skilled and knowledgable. I am blessed to have had such superb care.

Dr Driscoll is my favorite doctor. I feel like i can talk to her woman to woman. And she knows what she is doing!

My new Dr. Was friendly and easy to talk to, the exam went well.

Dr. Olson had reviewed my file before my appointment and had questions to ask me. She was very personable and took time to talk to me and answer my questions.

I cannot speak for other people's experiences but mine was a positive one. Although I was not at this practice for long, the two doctors I encountered greatly helped me in getting what I needed before my insurance ran out.
I saw Dr. Lyons who screened and checked for endometriosis, that ended up being adhesions, removed them, placed and educated me on my IUD options and continued with follow-up care when I was having problems.
I saw Dr. Olsen when I first came in before he left the practice, and he was also fantastic.
Dr. Lyons did the following workup and resolved the issues.
She is caring, really wants to help her patients, and is willing to answer questions in a way that makes you feel comfortable talking about them in a medical setting, such as this.
Both of my sisters had their children through this office and St. Luke's, and highly recommend them as well.

Dr. Bemus is the best! He's very personable and genuinely cares. He does his best to explain the procedures and results so I can understand them and, therefore, lessens my anxiety.

Dr. Lyons is the best! She always makes me feel so comfortable and well taken care of. Highly recommend!

Dr. McCarron is one of the very best and we are so lucky to have his wisdom and talent right here in Cedar Rapids! His compassion for his patients is personal and honest; I recommend him for all your complex OB-GYN needs.

Dr. McCarron is truly one of the BEST people I have ever met. He has always been sweet and kind and it's obvious he truly cares about his patients!! I trust him with everything. It's the best feeling to have someone so important that you trust!

Dr. Rozeboom has been my doctor since I was just a girl! He delivered my children. He is now one of my girl's doctor. It is so comforting to have a doctor that truly cares not only about you but also your family. He is outstanding- has helped me through some really great times and some very tough times-Births of children, miscarriages, surgeries, and illnesses. The office is outstanding. Every nurse, every tech, everyone is a professional.

They are all super nice and helpful. If you have any questions or are confused, they will help. They are super understanding and have seen or heard just about everything, so never be afraid to say or ask anything. The only thing that will ever be a struggle is sometimes finding out with level you start on, but they will tell you right away. Lol

I love Dr. Bussewitz! And the staff has always been very warm and friendly.

Never go here!!! I had to get some minor surgery and I am making monthly payments on what I owe. Every month they withdraw money from my account automatically. I recently called to set up an appointment and they tell me they will not see me until I pay the rest off. I could maybe understand this if I owed them thousands of dollars didn't have insurance and wasn't paying anything at all but I can promise you I do not fall in any of these categories. Im not sure about how the rest of you women feel but having to find a new Obgyn is no fun so if you need anything other then an annual checkup that is paid in full by your insurance save up all the money prior to your appointment because although they "accept monthly payments" you will be completly discarded by them.

In and out quickly for my appointment and everyone is friendly.

Very positive experience, not too much waiting, quick results. Everyone was kind+ professional.

The NP I saw was great! The communication of the appointment setters is not great. I feel like everytime I come there I go to the 2nd floor and get directed to 1st floor. Next time I go to the 1st floor and get directed to the 2nd floor...this should be communicated where what needs to be done. This happened my entire pregnancy as well. Annoying at most. Regarding today's appointment I am satisfied.

Been going to OBGYN Associates since 2015, I ve seen Dr. Bussewitz for all of my prenatal care, annual paps and most recently for a tubal ligation! She s amazing! Super fun! Definitely recommend this lady! :)

Everyone is friendly and caring. They answer any questions I have, explain things they are doing and do a good job with scheduling appointments. I see Dr.Olsen and he is very nice as well.

She does a really good job of breaking down what is going on in terms I can understand. Listens and discusses options thoroughly.

Dr. McCarron has been my OB since before I started having babies and he always takes the time and answers any question that I have and is generally just a wonderful Doctor, his nurse Sonja is exceptional as well as is most of the staff at OBGYN!! I had complications with both of my pregnancies they helped me through all of it! I really can not recommend them enough!!

Couldn t have asked for a better experience. I was super anxious about a procedure i was getting done. And Dr. Olson and her team did everything to make me feel comfortable. They both answered all of my questions before and after. I would recommend her to anyone!

Dr Messanger is just the best she is easy to talk too, listens to what I have to say and we come up with solutions to any issues I may have. The staff is always friendly and helpful.

I love Dr. Messenger! She always answers every question I have. She spends time with you to explain everything to you and also in a way that you would understand it. She's an amazing doctor! I HIGHLY recommend her!

Dr Bussewitz took time to care for me , and i didn't have an appointment with her!

The nurses and doctors at this facility are so caring. They really want the best for you and your baby but also take the time to listen to the patients!

Awesome experience, even though I go only one time a year I always feel like I am visiting an old friend. Dr Olsen is always friendly and is up to date on my chart information. She always asks about my family and how I am doing health wise. Her nurse is just as kind. Fast efficient and friendly what more could one ask for at an Obgyn appointnent

I don t even want to give this place 1 star! it deserves none, I have gone there for 2 prenatal appointments and all they cared about was my insurance. When they scheduled my next appointment 2 weeks out and all was fine. They out of the blue called before my 3rd appointment and told me I owe money for the ENTIRE 9 Months upfront by my 2nd appointment (which they claim was humdreds and hundreds of dollars) and if I don t have on the day of my next appointment that I can t go to my next appointment ALSO I AM NOT A LOCAL AND ONLY GOING TO BE IN THE AREA FOR 2 MONTHS so I don t know why I d have to pay for 9 months of care!?. They then cancelled my appointments told me to go somewhere else since Im not planning on going there the whole 9 months and delivery... I called my insurance company and they told me I shouldn t owe anything and that the clinic doesn t seem right. Also i tried to call back and speak to someone in charge about how rude the woman on the phone was to me and just kept transfering me to Billing/finances voicemail or hanging up on me saying it wasn t her problem.. My insurance company had to deal with these people because they wouldn t listen to me. I have NEVER MY WHOLE LIFE BEEN TREATED SO RUDELY ANYWHERE! I would rather go nowhere,than go to a place like this. IM SAD THAT I EVEN WASTED MY TIME.

Dr. Cundiff and her nurse, Heather, looked after me while pregnant with my first born. They were absolutley phenomenal in making me feel both comfortable and ready to welcome a child. Kelley, another nurse, kept me calm and comfortable while worrying about my child. The receptionists are always welcoming, patient and kind. Hands down I could not have gotten luckier with mine and my daughter's care. I would highly recommend this practice both for general GYN needs as well as any OBYN.

My daughter was delivered my messenger she is awesome but when i tries to get in they told me i cant make a appoontment till i pay my 3 dollar co pay which i did pay in 2016 they r like no u didn't do u have a receipt like who keeps a receipt for that so now i cant see why i am having pains unless i go somewhere else like i really dont want someone new looking in my vag

Billing Department is terrible. Multiple discrepancies with insurance claims, incurring more cost to the patient, they do not answer phone calls or they do not call you back when you leave a message. Please get your act together. Other than that Scheduling and Doctors are good.

Dr Lyons is amazing just started this Journey with her on may 25th and every visit she has a smile on her face

Dr. Messenger is absolutely fantastic! She is warm and caring, in addition to being an excellent physician. She always goes the extra mile and never rushes through our appointments. She is thorough and answers all of my concerns in a timely manner. She is an asset to the practice.

Every time I tried asking my doctor questions she would be trying to leave the room when I wasn't done talking or asking my questions. Appointments were so rushed that I didn't feel like I could get a word in. Didn't ever get the feeling that she cared about my concerns or needs.

Dr Rozeboom is GREAT!!! I feel good after surgery. Little pain but more crampy feeling. But I am up walking around

I went to this place for 3 of my 4 pregnancies over a span of 9 years. At the time of my 4th pregnancy I called my OB/GYN Alvina Driscoll (who is wonderful, by the way), but the staff would not let me speak with her or leave a message with her unless I gave them my insurance information. I didn t see why that was relevant to me having a conversation with my doctor, but I complied. At the time my health insurance did not cover maternity, but I explained that when it was time for me to actually make appointments I would set up a payment plan. I had money but that wasn t enough. The receptionist was probably the rudest and most condescending people on staff I have ever spoken with. I asked again to leave a message with the doctor but I was refused and essentially kicked out because of my insurance situation. I called back later the next week and spoke with a different person, but received the same treatment. I would not go here again. Very disappointing!

I have nothing but praise and admiration for Dr. Rozeboom. He is everything a caregiver should be - diligent, vigilant, caring, personable, and optimistic. He has been my OBGYN of choice for years, guiding me through two births and a recent hysterectomy.

I must say I was terrified to get a hysterectomy at first, but Rozeboom and his care team made the process seamless. The pre-op appointments were extremely helpful and reassuring. The morning of the surgery he visited with me and my family to calm any last minute jitters. During the procedure he checked in with my husband to let him know I was doing well. Lastly, he visited my hospital room twice within a 24hr period to follow-up on my post surgery care. Dr. Rozeboom exemplifies compassionate, professional healthcare. He is dedicated to his patients and is outstanding in his field.

The care I received is personalized, compassionate, and valued.

Nurse had me get undressed and I sat there for over 30 minutes waiting for dr to come in to do the procedure

I have had the best experience with OBGYN Associates. This is my first pregnancy so I was nervous when choosing but I am so glad I chose who I did. I will be using Dr. Cundiff in the future! I have never felt more comfortable with a physician

Would be great if they could answer the phone in the first 15 minutes of opening instead of a message still saying they are closed.

I have been a patient of OBGYN for over 20 years. I called to make my yearly mammogram and was scheduled for Oct. 28, 2016. I was not aware of the fact, until I checked in, that OBGYN had also scheduled me for a breast exam, that I did not make an appointment for. Yesterday, I get a bill from OBGYN for $272.00 that I owe them for a breast exam, pelvic exam and pap smear. Needless to say, I was not a happy camper. I am on Medicare and a supplement plan. I tried calling OBGYN's billing department. All I got was a recording, leave a message and we will call you back between 24 and 48 hrs. No live person to help. I left 4 messages, still no reply back. I called Medicare, they denied my claim from OBGYN, because they charged me for a breast exam, pelvic exam and pap smear and she told me that they only pay for those charges every 2 years. OBGYN failed to tell me that I was reliable for the payment of $272.00, for the breast exam, since, my prior exam was just a year ago. Oh, this gets worse...OBGYN..CHARGED ME FOR A PAP SMEAR AND A PELVIC EXAM, THAT THEY NEVER PERFORMED ON ME!!!!! I will be leaving OBGYN...I don't need this kind of drama and stress in my life.

Love Dr. Butz! She is always great about answering my questions and makes me feel comfortable! She takes her time with my appointments and I can feel that she cares!

They were very occomidating when my appointment was made incorrectly by another clinic. They got me and were very prompt. I love them and would use them always

Dr. Zhang actually listened to my concerns. Based on my concerns she developed a plan to help. It was very relieving to have a doctor that listened, cared, and could explain her plan and goals for that plan.

I've seen Dr Rozeboom for 30 years and this practice never disappoints. Dr always has time to listen and talk--always respecting my voice in our healthcare decisions. The lab is courteous and billing is simple and straightforward. There was a short line at checkout and someone even took my paperwork and said they'd call to schedule me for my next so I wouldn't need to wait. Great practice!

I was often uncomfortable during my prenatal care and felt like they treated patients like cattle. This view was only reinforced after I had my baby. No one bothered to follow up with me or return my message to schedule an appointment. I had major surgery and complications and should have had a follow up. It s clear that since they d made the bulk of their money off me, they no longer had interest in providing care. Find a smaller practice with staff and doctors that care about you as an person and not just a paycheck.

Dr. Joy Olson and her nurse Susan go above and beyond with their patients. Besides being the best in their field they have a terrific bedside manner. They remember details and care about their patients health and their patients life. That's what makes the difference.

Been going to her now for about 8ish years and has delivered one of my babies and will the next one on the way. Very nice, straight forward and great about answering any questions.

I've seen Dr. Messenger for years and she has seen me through two pregnancies. She is smart, direct and gives thorough answers to any questions I have. Her nurses are GREAT too!
