It's a but small but still worth the money. The 4D show is very entertaining. There are attendants all over the aquarium willing to answer any questions you may have about the different tanks. And the show in the aqua theater is quite nice.

Love it

My trip to the New York Aquarium was definitely worth it. I thought all of the exhibits were pretty cool, but my favorite was definitely the shark exhibit. There s a hallway in that exhibit where the sharks can swim above you which I thought was incredible. It was a bummer that the touch exhibits were closed because I m sure that that would have been a fun thing to do. The only negative feedback that I have for this place is that I felt that it could have been cleaned more thoroughly.

Really basic aquarium not a lot to see. I live in Florida so this was just a random thing to do to pass time, I ve been to better aquariums. I did thoroughly enjoy the shark tanks and what the WCS does and contributes to helping the ecosystems and wildlife.

Was under construction. Can not wait till it is finished in July!!!! It is going to be 5 stars!!!! People working there were great and the sea lion show fun!! 3 stars only ? Not entirely their fault. Not everything was open due to the cold weather . But I"'ll go back in the summer.

Went to see the new Shark exhibit. Very impressed. Might want to wait till the kids are back in school to see it. Too many kids, although polite, crowding around the viewing areas so it was hard to get close to see.

I enjoyed my visit and I was able to get in with the promotion they had going on. I just was a bit disappointed because there wasn't much to see. In 30 minutes I was already done viewing the whole aquarium. Im hoping in the future they add more attractions

Was a little wait for a wednesday at 3pm, but worth it for the money saved. We donated a dollar and paid 30 dollars for the 4D Shark short film and 18 dollars in parking. There were great things to see. Especially the HUGE TURTLES. and the sea lions and sharks. Regular price I feel is too much for a family of 5 because things weren't open and no food is really allowed and no food ventors so go on a full stomach.

Great experience, Aquarium was amassing and amusing. New shark exhibit is mesmerising and looks unreal, its a thing you NEED TO SEE. Seal show is also very fun and entertaining. I recommend this place to everyone, just amazing.

I know this aquarium is under construction but with more that half of the exhibits closed its hard to spend more that 45 minutes here. When the renovation is finished it will be great again but until then save your money and ride the cyclone a couple more times.

This place is a nightmare esp w all the annoying and rude little kids with their snobby parents. Sat here for hours trying to get a good view of any of the tanks and I honestly couldn't because a bunch of screaming toddlers were screaming about "dory and nemo" and rubbing their snot on the aquarium glass. It's an ok place just be prepared to not enjoy it as a young adult w no kids...pure hell

This Aquarium is not as large of a scale like the Boston aquarium however if you have small children and wanting to find something to do with them, this would be the place to go for a couple of hours.

I really want to give more stars but there just isnt enough open yet to give it s higher score. They did offer half price admission because of the lack of some attractions. The new shark exhibit is very well done and quite stunning with the glass hallway and having sharks swim above you. I also like the addition of a rooftop bar and resturant. We got a few beers (be careful, they only come as 24oz cans and we didnt expect to drink that much) we also ordered the fish tacos and they were reasonably tasty. I cant wait for them to bring back the jelly fish and octopuses.

Maybe it's because it was under construction but this aquarium was tiny and I literally saw everything in like 30 minutes. The sea lion show took up most of the hour (or so) that i was there. This zoo is mainly for children I think because it's kind of a joke... no offense. But great for children. Not suited for teens or adults though, you'll get bored for sure.

Love, love the shark exhibit. Lots of different sharks in the shark tunnel and my personal favorite is the big room with the huge window into the Hudson canyon. Who would have thought that we have that much wildlife right outside our "door"!
