Beautiful, wild, natural settings with wide open spaces and nice trails. We could have spent the whole day exploring. The trolls were cool, but frustrated that covid prevented us from getting closer.

Such a beautiful place to walk, bike, or drive around. They always have some sort of exhibit for people to see and a great children's area for kids to play in. This is a must-see if you find yourself in the suburbs.

This is a beautiful place to walk and enjoy nature. It is played out so that you can get ample exercise walking from area to area. There are various trees, and the landscape is breathtaking. They have it plant and color coordinated according to the seasons as well, which makes it especially nice. In the winter they put on an awesome outdoor light show that shouldn't be missed. There are always activities and demonstrations of various interests that provide opportunities to accommodate most. Last summer they even had a bonsai contest, with bonsai trees submitted by various owners to be judged by the public. The trees were amazing! They each were truly unique in their own right, and each one was a winner. I recommend this place for everyone. There is a senior discount. They do have a gift shop, and you can purchase food here. When they have events, there are more food stations outdoors to purchase food as well. You should add the Mortem Arboretum to your list of places to visit.

Tasty dining at the Ginko grill. Gluten-free and vegetarian options. Excellent salads. The gift shop offers unique gift selections. And these are just the extras. The arboretum, itself, is outstanding - especially in the Spring and Autumn.

The Morton Arboretum is a beautiful site. They offer something for all ages. What a great place to see and learn the names of plants and trees you have seen in your lifetime. For exercise, you can walk the many trails or bike the arboretum's drives. This is place you can enjoy again and again.

We loved the special exhibits. My kids had so much fun visiting the trolls and finding the clues to find the hideout. They also really enjoyed the Lego walk. We had a great time aventuring in the arboretum.

Went to hunt trolls. Natural wonderland with acres of trees from around the world. Walk, bike, drive with stop-offs along the way to take in the landscapes and hidden hollows. Always something going on seasonally.

Very over rated. Trolls were way too far apart. Couldn't find any friendly employees to get directions from. All in all, a very disappointing experience. As Shakespeare would say, "Much ado about nothing. "

Second time visiting the arboretum and still felt like we have only explored less than 10% of it! It s a very big area with gardens, trails, lakes, etc. Definitely recommend to families for a relaxing day. Biking and driving are on the same road, so just need to be slow and careful. The fragrance garden is small but elegant. The trolls have added a lot of fun to the arboretum. We got the membership and can t wait to come back for the fall foliage!

It's huge, calm and good to go for a walk, picnic during the fall or summer and if you are tired you can ride along and watch the seasons.. at first there were not much colour change to see but after parking 6 it's beautiful and you'll enjoy the fall season.. there's an entrance fee of 15$ for adults and also a restaurant if u feel hungry.

Visited here for the Lego Scupltures and Troll Hunt. Lovely grounds. A bit pricey for a day trip, $50 for a family of four. There is a maze and "treehouse". The kids area was closed around 2:30pm with no explanation, we assumed it was due to possible impending thunderstorms.

It is fun
