Biking through Morton's Arboretum is a grand fun adventure. Add to that, searching for giant troll figures, and the makings of a wonderful day is designed.

We come often, especially on those days we can bring our four-legged friends with.

Illumination has become one of our favorite family holiday traditions!

Gorgeous place that's very well upkept. Flowers, trees, and shrubs/bushes were all very well healthily trimmed and properly positioned. We couldn't see it all of course because it's enormous, but what we did see was very nice. The only More

This is a great location for people of every age! The Morton Arboretum is such a positive place for nature and full of creativity. They offer many classes and events throughout the year that can be enjoyed by members and nonmembers alike. If you live nearby, it is definitely worth the membership! The paths are well marked and many of the trees have ID badges so there s learning to be had along the way. It isn t usually too busy when we visit but the parking lots do get crowded during events. I have really enjoyed the Illumination event the Arboretum hosts every winter. It is incredible! Such a great place in Lisle, Illinois.

Great place where you can learn more about diferent plants

The place is very pretty but pricing is too high... There are a lot of other gorgeous and free/low cost options around the area.

It's a great place to get out and enjoy nature! They have paved paths for those who are looking for an easier stroll, and there is a vast expanse of trails for the more adventurous. They have lots of special events throughout the year, with the holiday lights Illuminations being the most popular. If you go more than a few time a year it's probably worth getting an annual pass.

Go. And get a membership. It's beyond worth it. I've lived in the area almost all of my life and after I went, I was disappointed that I hadn't visited sooner.
The grounds are fantastic, they have educational programming which is unique and interesting, and there's something here to do for everyone. It's not just a bunch of trees.
Major plus: The Pokemon Go scene here is awesome. My video gaming friends love coming with me when I go here because there are tons of stops and bunches of unique pokemon to catch as you walk through the Arboretum.

Went for the Illumination event. First time attending. It was absolutely spectacular. I highly recommend this to ALL ages.

I'm still annoyed that they charge now by the person - not by the car. And the places gets easily crowded. Very hard to find parking other than in the main lot - & that gets very full. It's a nice resource, but the forest preserves have nice green space with less cost & fewer people.

It's overpriced for what it is, the trails are not well marked and the trolls are too spread out

The Morton Arboretum is a great place to explore.

I've gone four times so far and have seen something new each time.

Wear comfortable clothes and good walking shoes. Some of the trails are very casual, while some are more of a hike.

Christmas time can be especially nice, as they have an evening admission with lights throughout the grounds.

I highly recommend the Morton Arboretum as a nice place to spend outdoors and to learn and see something new!

My wife and I were in Oak Park Illinois this weekend visiting our Daughter and Son-in-Law. They suggested we check it out with our Grandkids. It was fantastic can't wait to check it out in the spring and fall.

Enjoy your life, surrounding yourself with beautiful flowers, trees and lakes at Morton's Arboretum. I go there several times a week to smell the roses and practice Tai Chi Chuan and Chi Gung. It's even awesome when it rains!

An amazing place to get out and enjoy the fresh air and beautifully maintained grounds. Hike through woods, explore sculptures, and so many fields. The kids play area is simply amazing. I think the only downside is the cost. We were fortunate to visit on guest passes with friends, but I could see cost keeping many people away

Such a great place to take the family, go for a walk/run. It's beautiful and peaceful. My kids loved the children's garden.

Kind of pricey, but great for families. Get the membership if you come often.

Always something to do. Great escape for the whole family

Great place for kids to learn about trees and plants. They have Maze and very big kids area with many activities all in nature. Currently they have troll hunt trails and Lego showcase.

Beautiful garden, well designed and educational! Nice collections at gift shop too.

Really like the night time light show they do in December.

Beautiful place to bring your family. Walk through nature and see events like right now is aragami projects to see all over as you walk. Last year we saw Sumu wrestlers compete as well as musical events odds oriental culture. And so much more.

Perfect gateway to see trees from different parts of the world

children here and the fascination did not stop the entire time we were there. If you are looking for a great place that both the kids and you will enjoy for a price that is totally worth it look no longer this is your place! We will definitely be coming back again and recommending this adventure to friends and family as well!

Paradise in the middle of town! Beautiful landscaping that changes with the seasons.

Absolutely worth going to see the Troll statues and to enjoy nature.

Its really a beautiful place. I visited it in Oct end and hence the fall colors were really awesome. There are various kind of species of trees.
Specially the spots near parking space P5, P7 are amazing.
There are P1 - P33 parking spots where you can park and then walk a little bit and enjoy the scenery. There are trails too.
The maze garden is also fun to play with your friends.
It is really an amazing place to visit for the fall colors.

A Great place to take your family for a memorable holiday celebration. The lights, and the natural beauty of the Arboretum are a magical combination. A treat for both the eyes and the soul!!

This is a great place to go and paint with watercolors. There is limitless artistic inspiration there, and it is an environment where nature is allowed to take its course on a grand scale. There are many different, special events throughout the seasons, so check their schedule and plan on having a great time no matter what.

The trolls are hilarious. We stumbled upon their hideout when they were not there and discovered their secret recipes.

Great day!!! Hand blown pumpkins were amazing!!! Hot cider and the Origami in the woods.

Relaxing scenery and cool attractions. The Lego designs and wooden sculptures are a must see.

Morton Aboretum is an amazing place. Their special events are fantastic. Christmas Illuminations is a MUST SEE! Recommend a weekday as it can get very crowded on the weekends. The flip side is traffic on the weekdays is BAD! Plan accordingly. Lots of fun stuff for kids to do. Take your time and stroll through. The spiced hot chocolate hit the spot

Beautiful place with a lot of attractions for kids, probably the most popular is tadpole hunting :). Have a good time with your family.

While walking around and looking at the beautiful scenery you get to see nature at it finest. Great family fun!

The traffic to get in took over an hour and it was clear the staff does not know how to run the place when people want to go. And there is only 13 Lego exhibits, most of which shown online.

A wonderful place to visit and connect with nature and it's splendor. Open space to move around and picnic or bike . The place is well maintained and has stuff for the kids as well.
In the end this a very nice "park" , but the place has soul and elegance.

Its nature, it's perfect. And The Morton Arboetum seems to always have something fun happening. Yesterday, my wife and I danced to Polish music in the forest. How cool is that! Thank you

Peaceful, beautiful place of trees and bright flowers. Easy to get lost in such scenery, but the layout is such that you will always loop your way back. Recommend a visit :-)

I have had a family membership here for about 4 years now. It's a great place to visit for just taking a walk, bike ride or a challenging run. Great place to take the kids during the summer and let them play in the children's area.

The Morton Arboretum is a fantastic place to take your family. The job they've done with the illuminations project is fantastic. It's really turned this into a year round activity for the family.

Came for the Illumination exhibit. Very fun. The "Illu-medallions" could use a little work though.

I've always enjoyed the arboretum. The illumination light show is out if this world. They've gone above and beyond for holiday lights. I've gone 3 years in a row now.

The Ginko restaurant is a little sketchy. They pay no reguard to food allergys at all. If you are gluten free you are out of luck. The staff shows no attempt to limit cross contamination. If I come back it will be with a lunch pail full of goodys.
