Great venue good seating arrangements staff were diplomatic and courteous a lil slow for food but place was packed

Attended a Parrothead event and staff was fun and efficient. This venue was perfect for all that it entailed.

Reeks odds cigarette smoke. There are no smoking signs up, but the smell is overwhelming. We won't be coming back.

Seen several events here. Great staff, plenty of space and great talents. During session the Moon provides a space for charity fund raisers that are lots of fun.

Great venue, I love it. I just wish they had more free seating. But a great place.

Man we had a great time here. It's huge first off and I loved the different levels all man that was dope. And there were more than enough bars to accommodate everyone even on the higher levels. Dj was jamming all night long. He took it back to a song I hadn't heard in years and the entire club went crazy. It was the song from fresh prince (will smith) it was wild because everyone knew it. Lol. Definitely a go to place if your tally.

A local institution for live music and drinks. Great place for a night out.

We have enjoyed going to the concerts here. Sublime with Rome was my favorite!

Went for a ballet performance for my granddaughter. Had to wear face mask. View of stage was good as we sat at a raised platform. Audio system excellent. A lot of people attended, but area still didn't seem overly crowded.

Went to my first Tally Nights Live and had the time of my life!!!!!! Waiting for the next one!

Its definetly a fun time. Good music, fun dances and reasonably priced drinks. 10/10 would recommend for a fun night. They also have karoke and free bull rides. #dancefloor #nightout

Stetsons is fun on fridays, drink prices go up after 12 though

I have been going to The Moon since I moved here in 1994, that's 27 years of crazy fun Friday nights!! HOWEVER, I will never go back! I purchased live event tickets for a show in late Feb 2021; with Covid, I had to buy 4 tix to have the table. I gave the tickets to 2 couples very dear to me for Valentines Day. A week before the concert, one couple tested positive for covid and the other couple quarantined. I made numerous attempts to contact The Moon, email and phone) to get a refund. After I received no comment, I requested a refund from the ticket facilitator. They replied 10 days later to tell me my request was denied and I purchased them knowing they were non refundable.... BUT, their website says with a refund request, they will contact the venue for approval. SO, back to THE MOON LIES THE BLAME. Everyone has been affected by Covid in numerous ways, I think it is completely UNACCEPTABLE, for what use to be my favorite night spot, to not even respond to my request. It was a great table on the center floor; I am sure someone sat there and they probably even resold the seats, YET, still no reply from the MOON. They did not even offer me a credit for a later date event... they just kept the money! It is a shame my friends could not attend, especially because of covid, It sucks that I could not get my money back, but even more disturbing is that I received not the first reply, or option from them. I would expect much more from a venue that has been around so long and is a staple in this market! And, I guess they needed the $145 really bad to pay their bills?!?

I always enjoy myself when I attend events at this establishment. Most recently I attended Tallahassee Nights Live, an event hosted by the club. The venue is clean, has sufficient parking for large crowds, and reasonable drink prices.

Great concert venue. Lots of open floor space and well positioned seats in the back. The air conditioning is freezing however, but some may see that as a good thing.

Rotary father daughter dance was awesome. Great location. Staff was very amicable

Tonight was amazing!!! I attended the Daddy Daughter Dance with my little girl and it was perfect. I love the building very well designed and versatile. The Moon staff were very polite and professional. The entire facility was clean and neat to include the bathrooms. Thank you for making it a special night!

Fun venue. Interesting setup. Reminded me kind of like an old cruise ship theater setup. Great music. Interesting that there are restroom attendants.

We visited The Moon as an Alzheimer's charity event . It was great fun and lots of people contributed to a great cause while enjoying the festivities. Attendance was huge. We really enjoy going to events and concerts at the Moon. It is a great music arena and has a fun dance floor.

The Moon is the number one club in Tallahassee. They are always having awesome concerts and events. The employees have excellent customer service with a smile. They are always doing special things in the community and they care. It is also a fantastic place to work. They a very professional and kind. Thank you Moon for being the BEST .

Fun place. Huge dance floor and great music. I hope to see more artists use this venue.

Club is very nice inside and out, staff was friendly, no drama. But the DJs always SUCK!!! This is Tallahassee, a lot of ppl are not locals, why are they playing the same songs that have been played at every party in Tallahassee since 2004. Get an out of town DJ from the west coast or up north that actually has a catalog of music from places other than Miami and Georgia. The music caters to men, not women. I don't think I need to state why that's an issue; when girls are sitting, and the dance floor filled with guys, major problem. Play something to get the girl twerkin.

The Moon is thee best place to have any type of event you can think of. They have a new addition to its facility that even better accommodates small to mid-sized events.

A great little venue, but the bar leaves a lot to be desired (no draft beer, mixed drinks not great, inconsistent and expensive prices, etc.). That said, it *is* nice to have multiple bars available, that you never have to walk far for a drink, and that the multi-tiered seating makes it really easy to find a spot where one can see. Like I said: a great little venue.

I love the shows here and the prices are fair. My complaint is the barstool style seating and lack of seating closer to the stage.

I loved it for my first night out at a club it was definitely a good one.

What a blast we had this Friday . My wifes 31st bday. The music was bumpin ,dancing & people watching . Great drinks, Go late stay late. You only live once try it. I'm sure you're gonna like it...

Great venue to see the best band ever!!!! Clean bathroom, plenty of seats but large dance floor for getting closer to the show. Well made reasonably priced drinks. Had a great night here seeing JUDAH AND THE LION

Decent venue but I always feel dirty. I don't even club there so it's not a nightlife thing but I'm conscious of touching rails and stools. They should mop and wipe things down every once in a while.

Fun once in a while. Bunch of young kids, cheap drinks, gets old. same crowd same music all the time nothing special

I rented the lounge for a private event and had an absolutely terrible experience. The bartender was late, the DJ was unprepared, the owner was belligerent and drunk, the owner complained about having to clean up our catered food after we already offered to clean up ourselves, the owner was rude and derogatory to our charted bus driver, and they did not abide by the rental contract as they kicked us out 30 minutes earlier. Completely unprofessional and we were extremely disappointed with the horrible owner. I do not recommend this venue to rent for any event! The only reason it even has one star is because it made me.

Dj has bad music selection taste, drinks over priced. But if you enjoy going to clubs you can smoke in, I suggest going here.

The Moon is a Tallahassee staple. You can't have a bad time in the Moon lol.

Saturday grown folks night is the best. Dress to impress. Bottle service available.

Overcrowded, poor acoustics, short pour on drinks, the employee s are nice and helpful.

Super cool venue nice layout and very organized. Bars great and the drinks were awesome will deffinetly see a show here again

The worst place!!!They never respect to their neighbors. The music always very loudly even it is 3 a.m. It even make our apartment window shake.... I hate here

Amazing atmosphere! Had a blast! First time at the Venu for the 2018 Trap Gala....it was really Lit! Music, drinks, etc was all on point! Plan to visit again for 2019!

After the J Cole experience I'll one hundred percent never return here. Yall's employees are the rudest in Tallahassee (specifically the blonde bartender "Alexis") which is obviously saying something. Thanks for the worst concert experience of my life

If your a single Male you need to go! This place has a 20 to 1 ratio girls to guys.

The pros: good service, solid ambiance....and thats it.

I just saw the single worst show I'e ever seen there, and that's not hyperbole. Poor sound quality, talent very obviously in "just cashing checks" mode, but overall just TERRIBLY managed. It seriously seemed like they had the local HS drama department do a guest production. Just absolute amateur hour.

Great place for events, I loved the #trapgala event, plenty of space to walk or sit.

The venue is nice enough. If you are putting on a sizable production, the changing space could be a challenge. We has many changes and around 25 performers and it was a bit cramped. But we all knew each otger so it worked out fine. The stage is nice and has all of the bells and whistles you'd need to put on a good show.

Great place. It is best when all adults are in a place to have fun. No one was offensive or cocky. The music was great. Clean environment. Smoking is permitted .

The event was great. Behind the screens the lady kept saying it was the first time doing that type of event and things were crazy. Then while standing ring side drinks where split and it was slippery. Waiters where running around crazy. Just seemed like they were not properly prepared. Would like to go back and see another show.
