I have been going to The Moon since I moved here in 1994, that's 27 years of crazy fun Friday nights!! HOWEVER, I will never go back! I purchased live event tickets for a show in late Feb 2021; with Covid, I had to buy 4 tix to have the table. I gave the tickets to 2 couples very dear to me for Valentines Day. A week before the concert, one couple tested positive for covid and the other couple quarantined. I made numerous attempts to contact The Moon, email and phone) to get a refund. After I received no comment, I requested a refund from the ticket facilitator. They replied 10 days later to tell me my request was denied and I purchased them knowing they were non refundable.... BUT, their website says with a refund request, they will contact the venue for approval. SO, back to THE MOON LIES THE BLAME. Everyone has been affected by Covid in numerous ways, I think it is completely UNACCEPTABLE, for what use to be my favorite night spot, to not even respond to my request. It was a great table on the center floor; I am sure someone sat there and they probably even resold the seats, YET, still no reply from the MOON. They did not even offer me a credit for a later date event... they just kept the money! It is a shame my friends could not attend, especially because of covid, It sucks that I could not get my money back, but even more disturbing is that I received not the first reply, or option from them. I would expect much more from a venue that has been around so long and is a staple in this market! And, I guess they needed the $145 really bad to pay their bills?!?
